I drive by this place several times a day but other than noticing their huge sign I didn't give it a lot of thought. That is until I decided I was ready to buy my first RV/Motorhome. So naturally this is the first place I came. Being a newbie I was nowhere ready to buy yet and I imagined going to an RV dealers lot would be at least as stressful as going to a car lot but I had to start somewhere and these people seem to have a good-sized inventory. In fact they don't have as many vehicles for sale as it may appear. Some of them are customer owned and I got the impression that some are there for storage. But in any case I looked at the listings on their website first and casually came in today to browse. The salesperson was wonderful. She greeted us a minute or two after we arrived so we wouldn't feel unwanted but she invited us to take as long as we wanted to walk through each unit ourselves, spend as much time, and when (or if) we wanted to talk she would be happy to jump in. This was perfect for me because it would be insane to go out and buy something this specialized and expensive on my very first day of shopping. We did look and of what we saw there was one that was exactly as advertised. I love not being misled or surprised. We spent a lot of time in it "getting the feel" even sitting in the driver's seat. We didn't buy today, nor did we expect to, but Main Street RV is definitely on our list of places I feel good about shopping at, and I also feel good about recommending to others. read more

Pete and Keaton should be ASHAMED of themselves! NO INTEGRITY!!!! We flew here after much back and forth and FaceTiming to purchase an RV from out of state. We explained we would be going on an immediate road trip with our toddler and before we bought our tickets out here, even said would you be comfortable with your family in this? We were reassured everything was working and dialed in. That was NOT the case!!!! We discovered things that were not divulged : leveling jacks not working, awning broken, the couch literally fell over when I attempted to recline it holding my son! INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED!!!! If those are the things I noticed, what else is wrong?! All you have is your word AND they are NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!! When asked for any reimbursement we were told sales are slow... wonder why?! You'd think if sales were slow they'd be sure their inventory was ready to go as promised! read more

I decided to sell my 5th wheel and was contacted by Leon. Before putting on their lot I had another buyer interested, before hearing back from that buyer Leon brought me someone. He convinced the new buyers to buy privately from me to avoid the taxes and told us it was easy. That they would notarized my signature and help out with what ever they could do. After receiving their $5,000 commission. They didn't notarize, we had to bring the trailer to their lot, they wouldn't allow us the use of the dealer plate, refused to even charge a battery. Two weeks ago I went to Main Street RV to discuss selling my RV on consignment. I left all the information with my name and number and was told I'd receive a call later that day. After three days I called and again left a message to be called. After I over a week the owner of the business called and said he was able to stop by and look at my rv. He said he would call me later that day to tell me the value of my rv. Now, literally two weeks later, I called again and spoke to the owner. He told me he was going through a divorce and is so incredibly busy that he just doesn't have time to deal with his business. (In so many words). I told him I had been trying to work something out with them for two weeks and they obviously weren't interested in new business and said I'd take it somewhere else. Don't waste your time. read more

Spent more than a year dickering with the dealer we purchased our RV from over a buy back, we gave our bottom dollar then they would send another "dealmaker" to talk us down--became quite fun after the 3rd of 4th call. The dealer wouldn't meet our terms ($5k apart only) and the principle of it (knowing they were trying to make 25% on a quick flip) made me not drop our asking price. Fast forward to November, Leon from Main Street RV reached out to our RV Trader posting, we told him our must have price and within 30 minutes we were signed up for consignment. We received a call ~2 weeks later that our Bounder was sold. I was honestly thinking it would not sell due to the exorbitant fuel prices, but at least we would have somewhere to store if for the winter. ha. Would definitely recommend this group over one of the larger places or even trying to go it on your own. Stress free, worth the small percentage they need to make to not deal with showing people the RV all the time. read more

I called about a week ago and talked to a woman there. I was just wanting to know if they could come and take a look at our RV to sell and she was so rude it seemed like I was the enemy. She asked me what I wanted (which was trade in book value) and she laughed and kept repeating "way too much, that's way too much!" I was open to pricing and just wanted to get rid of it but I didn't feel comfortable there with that vial woman. Yuck! read more

We are from out of town and were in the market for a class A RV. We saw one in their lot driving by and stopped to check it out a little before 5 PM. We had no idea what their hours were, and parked and walked up to look at a couple of rigs to see what the prices were. The owner walked up to us to let us know they were closing up. She asked what we were looking for, and we told her a class A diesel for $50K or less. She said that would be hard to find, but there were two units setting right there for less than $40K. She got her keys out, and said "you have 5 minutes of my time, because I'm tired and ready to go home." After that, I didn't want to look, and told her it was too much trouble. She made a derogatory noise. She had already lost my business. I understand she was ready to go home, but there were better ways she could have approached us, and I told her that. She said "I own this business, and I'm not your typical sales person, nor do I want to be." Non-typical sales person must equal bad manners in her book. If she had been more welcoming, and had said something like, "I'm sorry; we're closing now, but we open at whatever time tomorrow, and we would be more than happy to show you around then", I could have understood that. My husband and I ran our own business for several years, and no matter how tired you are or whatever, you treat potential customers with courtesy and with a welcoming manner. Needless to say, I'm not interested in doing business here, and from her attitude, I don't think the owner really cares. read more
