Contacted Auto Boss RV via email and received a timely response by phone and then email. I spoke to Andrew. He scheduled service for my 2018 Montana High Country 5th Wheel. Drove to their Mesa location & dropped off - less than 24 hours later, had a call back with information to take it to a dealership who were authorized warranty repairs. But in addition to the honest technician, they performed other repairs which were not under warranty and charged us nothing for it. This place is busy, quick turn around and has honest technicians, front office staff, & owner. The only thing that was a draw back for us - we wished they did warranty repairs - but thats not on them, it's a manufacturer issue. I took my 2003 diesel pusher in with a cooling system problem. The people here were not only friendly, open and focused on my problem, they showed very high levels of technical prowess. I know this vehicle and the Caterpillar engine very well and they brought up aspects that are true but also not widely known. Even though my problem wasn't tough, they took it very seriously. They got me in quickly and communicated updates regularly. Don't let the wrapping on this shop dissuade you, these guys are good and very cost effective. I've had a couple issues arise with my motorhome and Auto Boss has been able to help me in the timeliest manner ever. Super personable and reasonable company. Thank you for always being willing to help by phone when you can AND the service in shop. Couple months later I once again needed help. This time I needed to have my coach towed. Once again I received top notch service! I had reservations for a quick trip to Canyon Lake already planned for a few days after my coach was towed to the shop. I let them know of my plans not expecting them to get my coach finished in time but hopeful that they might. Sure enough day if it was ready to go. Cost was reasonable and once again service was more than I could ask for. So thankful for an honest shop I can go to with my motorhome! read more

I find Jerry and Kyle a breath of HONEST fresh air! First RV I brought them in November 2018 they were sooo honest about how much $$$ it would cost to make it roadworthy...told me it wasn't worth it! That made an impression on me. Fast forward to March 2019 and I am in charge of a mobile unit for a Not For Profit for a new job. Jerry took my appt with barely 24 hrs notice, fixed it in less than a day....honest pricing! Second time returned with a new problem.. same treatment. I tend to read reviews and do not usually write any. I was so impressed with the work done by Auto Boss RV, I took some time to write the following. I wanted a Blue Ox Baseplate and an Ascent Tow-bar for my 2014 CRV. I looked into Blue Ox Dealers and found WWRV and Auto Boss on Main street in Mesa, AZ. WWRV seemed more established so this was my first stop. They had a nice store (I bought a Roadmaster umbilical while there) but they seemed too busy to help on a tow-bar and baseplate install. I did get an estimate but it seemed an ordeal to get. Then I went down the street to Auto Boss RV. Fortunately I previously looked at the place on Google street view. The store front is not much to look at, you might be tempted to just drive by - but I'm really glad I stopped in. I sat down, explained what I wanted and Andrew quickly gave me an estimate and said when he could schedule the install. I looked at my schedule and scheduled the install for the next week. Since we were in lockdown for Corona Virus, I already installed the taillight & breakaway wiring using wiring kits from Amazon. I had everything wired and tested - but the wires were just loose, connectors simply cable tied to the front fascia. When I brought the car in for the baseplate install, I showed Kyle the wires and asked him to mount my 6-pin connector as well as the breakaway switch and dress the cables. They did a great great job, and kept me informed of the status. I picked up the car and tow bar the very next day and took it right to where my RV was stored to do a trial setup. Everything was great. along with the baseplate they securely mounted the breakaway switch and the 6-pin connector and dressed the wires. Before writing a review, I waited until we could do a real test by driving from Phoenix at 1200 ft to Flagstaff at 7000 ft and returning. The CRV tracked behind my RV like a champ. I'm really glad I choose Auto Boss to do the install. read more

Lock up your valuables!!! My 81 year old stepdad brought in his very nice and very expensive A Class for a minor repair right before his summer trip. My step father had $1,500 in American Express gift cards he had purchased for his gas expenses for the trip, and the came up missing when he got his RV back. It was a mistake leaving them in there to begin with but it is theft, plain and simple. When my stepdad brought it up to the owner, he tells him "This is a family business, this could never happen here" and "These are serious charges you're making". He told my stepdad he didn't believe him and hung up. The owner didn't give two bits. My stepdad is super honest and wouldn't make this claim if it weren't true. Nothing we can do about it now but share this experience. The thief knows what he did and karma is a b!t€h. read more

Great place to take our RV and get work done. They don't do warranty work but going to Gander or another big shop for that can take months. We canceled our extended warranty and only use Auto Boss. Andrew is helpful, responsive, professional. The shop is small but they do great reasonable priced work. We highly recommend Auto Boss RV. read more

Buying a used vehicle - especially a motorhome - can be a tricky transaction. All the way from beginning to end, the AutoBoss team acted with integrity, honesty and professionalism. BUYER BEWARE!!! my husband and I are from San Diego we found a coach they had listed on rv trader we were interested in. Called and Talked to Joe got the financing information which threw up the first red flag. They know nothing about the financing and give you a # to a "broker" out of Florida. When you call its just a cell phone with a very unprofessional lady answering. So after getting my own pre approval through another credit union in AZ my husband requested some additional pictures of the engine and any flaws in the coach. Keep in mind now were already pre approved and willing to drive 6 hours one way to pick this thing up. Joe tells my husband he is working on getting the pictures and info we asked for together. Then out of no where Joe calls my husband and tells him that he is a F*****g D**K that our expectations are too high and no one at their dealership wants to make a deal with us. All we asked for was some pictures of the motor and any imperfections so we know what were driving 6 hours for. So after the call with Joe telling us they don't want to do business with us for absolutely no reason we called back and spoke to the owner. He apologized to my husband and told him that Joe was having a bad day and still had no interest in making a deal with us. Come to find out this place doesn't qualify to finance through credit unions. Also the way they acted was like they were hiding something and once we asked for more detailed pictures they didn't want to do business with us because we would find whatever they were hiding. Truly a pleasant experience with no big dealership hassles. The rig we bought was exactly as advertised. Andrew was very nice to deal with, Kenny and his staff went the extra mile to fix a few things that needed to be done without hesitation. I recently flew to Mesa to buy an RV Joe from Auto Boss RV had for sale. We talked a few times for around three months about a 2007 Lexington he had for sale and was also posted on YouTube with a walkaround video. He claimed and the video showed it was like show room condition. He lied! I found out the hard way and was stranded in Mesa for around four days after paying for a flight there from South Dakota. Wisdom told me to shop there from my motel room and thanks to John at Superstition RV I found what I was looking for. Whew! $700.00 later thanks to Joe I was able to drive back and awesome RV much better than the one Joe from Auto Boss tried to rip me off from. My husband and I live in San Diego and have been working with Joe for over a week to purchase an RV they had in stock. We worked out all the details, gave him our word including a down payment to show good faith considering we were flying out to pick it up. All we asked Joe to do was have the coach ready with tires ( we were paying for) fuel and propane he promised so we could get off the plane and drive straight back because I am 9 months pregnant and my husband didn't want to risk being gone longer than a day. Joe promised he would do those things. When my husband showed up to the dealership the tires were not on ( let alone in stock), the fuel was on empty and the door to the bedroom was missing and the propane was empty. Joe or anyone did nothing to prepare for the sale knowing my husband was flying out to pick it up. Unfortunately it cost us a day of travel and it's sad that people cannot be men of their word. I've been in customer service and Auto sales for 15 years and this is unacceptable and embarrassing because people like this give the rest of the industry a bad name. read more

The experience of purchasing my 2014 Tuscany XTE was very smooth. Working with Andrew, Joe and Jerry made this all happen. Starting out with a number of calls and emails we did a deal with my trade contingent on my visit to Mesa. I flew in from Minnesota and everything was as promised. I found a few minor things I wanted done and Joe asked me to put a list together and they would get it done and they did. The day I drove my old coach in from Minnesota for trade was seamless and went very quickly. We had been searching for an RV for quite some time when we finally saw what we were looking for at Auto Boss. This is/was our first RV purchase so we had no idea what to expect. I liked that Joe (our salesman) offered for two thousand dollars to put "sale pending" on the RV until we had a chance to come over from California to make sure it was actually what we wanted. It was exactly what we wanted and Joe was exceptional on helping us in every way including setting us up with financing and converting the bed from a queen to a king. So, would I do anything differently next time? Yes. We should have had the coach looked at by a outside mechanic before purchasing. We had trouble with the RV overheating on our way home and also on our first camping trip. When I took it into the repair shop, there was a big leak at the coolant reservoir and hose -- not a big deal, but could have been identified and fixed before purchase if I would have had it looked at. I'll know next time to do this -- it's my own fault. Buying an RV out of state when you live in California causes a bit more work, but I guess it was worth it because we got the RV we wanted. I recommend Joe and Auto Boss RV if you are looking at purchasing an RV. Just make sure no matter where you purchase an RV you have it independently looked at for problems. read more
