We ended up going back to Always RV becauseof the staff and knowing they inspect every RV throughly . We worked with the owner Dave Tomlinson on the deal. He was fair and to work with. They do a complete inspection on every RV before they put it up for sale. They make sure things are working properly , if not they will tell you up front . In our Case Dave took really good care of us. Before purchasing they showed us everything was in good working order if it wasn't Dave would have it fixed. He allowed us to keep the 5th wheel on his lot for 30 days. Also he allowed us to be plugged into his power for a few days to upgrade a few things. Our hydraulic pump to our slides went out while we were there using it. Dave didn't hesitate and ordered a new one and had it fixed in a few days. He goes a above and beyond taking care of his customers! The office manager Patricia was also easy to work with. She's knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. We placed our camper van on consignment with Camping Nation in November 2025. It should be noted…read morethat the van, a 2023, was in pristine condition with multiple upgrades. Needless to say, Larry was very happy to showcase it on their lot. Larry told us that the current turnaround (for someone to purchase) was about 45 days. January 2026 rolled around and no bites. We checked the site and saw that Camping Nation had never taken/posted photos of the backend of the van which had upgrades added (new OWL ladder, new spare tire and carrier, an OWL storage container and an OWL dual bike rack.) This was supposed to have been done in November so our bad for not following up. We spoke to Matt who said that additional photos would be added ASAP. A week later, still nothing so we called again and the photos were eventually added. March 2026 rolled around and no bites. This is when we realized that the van had somehow "fallen off" of many sites to include RV Trader and Craigslist. We called, excuses were given, and we were told they would repost our van back on these sites and update their Instagram. April 2026, the van was still NOT posted back on Craigslist. It took nearly the month of April for Matt to post the van back on Craigslist. August 2026, we had finally had enough and we scheduled a day/time to pick up our van. It was supposed to be clean. It was not but we were not surprised, and at this point, we just wanted the van back. As we left the parking lot, we noticed the tire light on. We pulled over and found a nail in the tire. So when Camping Nation pulled the van around front, they knew about the tire light and said nothing to us. Tells a great deal about their character. Bottom line, should you decide to use this place to sell your RV...you will have to be on top of them every minute of every day to ensure your RV is being advertised properly, with the appropriate photos because you cannot count on them to do as they say. We cannot, in good faith, recommend this place.
