Food was excellent. It has been difficult to find a Chinese restaurant that had good tasting bbq sauce. I have ordered from here many times.

It's close and convenient. I haven't had a lot off the menu. I ordered chicken wings and they were okay.

Order from here often and it's always great. Reminds me of Brooklyn take out. The delivery comes usually in less than a half hour.

Rock solid Chinese food - everything on par with NYC's Grand Sichuan…read more Occasionally a little difficult to order something customized or with a substitution over the phone, owing to an order system that doesn't really allow it. The young man who usually answers the phone informed me that I couldn't just order roast pork, but that I could order roast pork with Chinese vegetables, hold the vegetables. I got then and have since gotten other things that I wanted that weren't verbatim off the menu, but it got easier once I realized that any custom part of an order order would typically be read back to me in different words or with different phrasing than I used, though however it's read back usually winds up being equivalent. I wouldn't really call that a complaint, just something to be aware of. And the food is *great*. So I'll keep coming back.

This is my favorite Chinese spot. It is just take out, there are no tables to eat inside. The lady…read moreat the counter was nice and patient with our large and specific order. There is an item in the menu that is Bill and Harry's chicken, but as I am vegetarian, I ask for it with tofu instead and they honor my request with no problem. Their sauce has a little spice to it, is very flavorful and just so good! All the food tasted super delicious, not very greasy considering it is Chinese. Grandma loved that they didn't put the sauce on her sweet and sour chicken, so by the time we got home, it didn't get soggy! The rice and all the noodles were flavorful. Will continue to go out of my way to get Chinese food here!

6/8/26 (Update) Hunan Taste is consistently good!…read more Myself and two friends came here on a weeknight. The restaurant is a BYOB. Indoor and (weather permitting) outdoor seating here. We shared platters of Mongolian beef, Grand Marnier chicken and Grand Marnier shrimp. The food is always very appetizing and plentiful. Service was good this evening. However, service can be off on weekends. Always best to make reservations. Even more so on weekends. Takeout is available from Hunan Taste. The restaurant has a small private parking lot. In addition, you can always park in the next door Acme parking lot.

The restaurant's dining room was still spacious and nicely adorned, and they even had a lovely outdoor patio, though it overlooked an Acme parking lot. Our server was a delight and completely went above and beyond for us. The food, however, was mediocre. The Pork Soup Dumplings were our favorite item, as their broth and meat were extremely flavorful. However, about two of the six had holes in them, so some of the soup had escaped before they were even removed from their bamboo steamer. The Spicy Chicken Dumplings came in a generous portion of ten, but the fiery poultry inside had a strong "chicken" flavor, if that makes sense. Lastly, we had the Chicken Chow Fun, which was extremely bland and full of gummy noodles. That chicken was tender and had a better flavor, though. I just looked back at my last review to see that we had ordered the same noodle dish previously, and, while it similarly had very little sauce on it, the plate had been much more enticing back then. I also saw a bunch of gnats flying around near our table, which was not appetizing, but in fairness, it was a very hot evening. Despite our mixed experience, the dishes being delivered to neighboring tables all looked amazing. I would like to think it was just an off-night and would be willing to give the place another shot.

This leveled up my expectations on scallion pancakes omg they were so thin and crispy delicious!!! Definitely great service Im guessing it's the owner she had your order ready to go I work in pompton plains so I'll order right before I leave work and by the time I get to Parsippany the order is ready! I definitely want to go and dine in but I'm always in the Parsippany area after work But take out is a good enough for me. From just walking in the restaurant is so clean and organized. They have a video explaining the process of hand pulled noodles which is cool! I'm a nerd like that I love educational videos. Also you see where the chef is making everything too like a window to see when he makes the hand pulled noodles. Definitely recommend this place ! Ample parking and very easy to get too. If you want a nice comforting bowl of soup with hand pulled fresh noodles this is your place!!! Enjoy!!!! Note I put 2 pictures of my 1st order with them Stir fried noodles and braised beef hand pulled noodles soup yummy

My food was waiting for me, which I was happy about. I ordered scallion pancakes as an appetizer and sauteed noodles with chicken and vegetables as my entree. The food tasted great; however, for takeout packaging, my sauce for the pancakes was not secure, so it spilled in my bag. Other than that, the noodles tasted really good (just needed a sprinkle of salt/soy sauce), and I enjoyed my meal. I will order from there again.

I did not go inside but our order was prepared quickly and correctly -I'm told this has never been a problem. My food? The shrimp roll was a good appetite whetter, a little cleaner than a typical egg roll with the dyed pork. The young chow fried rice was a very nice portion in a quart rice container, full of different meats. Downside that I had to pull shrimp tails, but upside that there were like 6 of the fellas. Chicken, beef, pork all represented. Glad I got a different taste. Sesame chicken and General Tso were ordered by other family members. Hard to tell the two apart when I tasted them, typical Americanized dishes. The kid (omg no longer a toddler) got lo mein, nothing special but nothing bad. Overall, I got American Chinesed out as a kid, so this isn't my cup of tea but for others, everything came together well. If I were to point out one issue: they use small amounts of MSG in their sauces. It's why I got fried rice.

We started with the fried Spring Rolls, perfectly paired with a delicious and light sauce. Entrees were Masaman curry (w/chicken) and Pad Kee Mow. Both were excellent. Pad Kee Mow has this incredible Smokey flavor and was perfect vegetarian style. Meat would have distracted from the flavors. I have to comment on all the fun details in the decor; right down to the fun, Thai movie posters in the restroom, and even the little decorative tray they bring the bill on. All of it adds to the experience. Shout out to Alex, our waiter, who is very good at his job! If you find yourself in Montclair, don't miss this fun, little place.

We ordered the green curry and pad kee mao, and both were packed with flavor. The green curry was rich, creamy, and comforting with fresh vegetables and tofu soaking up all that coconut curry goodness. The pad kee mao had that smoky wok-char flavor with perfectly chewy noodles and just the right level of spice. Also loved the fresh coconut water to cool everything down between bites. Big shoutout to Stephenie, who took amazing care of us throughout the meal. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. Definitely a great vegetarian-friendly spot in Montclair if you're craving flavorful Thai comfort food.
