I have had my mail at this location for over 15 years. Mailbox West took it over from Olsen's Pharmacy a dozen years ago now I believe. I wasn't suret the service would be as good but it is. There is 24 hour access to my mailbox, they always call me if I have a package, they are always pleasant and efficient. I have absolutely no complaints (nope, not even one). I love this place. A real asset to West Seattle! I've been a customer with Mailbox West for over 5 years. Initially, I rented a mailbox for convenience. (The owner at the time was a bit of a curmudgeon but the shop was close to my home.) However, I have become a huge fan since, Vince Harrelson, took over. The shop is clean and bright. The staff is helpful and friendly. They offer so much of what I need for my small business. Renting a mailbox means I never miss a delivery and don't have to make my home address public. They carry a larger selection of stamps than the two local post offices. I do all my shipping there (both UPS and USPS), plus I can receive faxes, make copies, and print color images from my usb drive or email. If I happen to need business supplies, they have a nice selection on hand. They also carry cards and gift bags which is so helpful when I need to send out gifts! read more

If you need a private mailbox and live in West Seattle, this is the place to come. I had a P.O. box downtown for a long time and I kind of grimaced to give it up and pay private rates, but I wanted a separate business address, plus UPS deliveries to my security condo are hit or miss and I can get packages delivered here because it's a street address. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and courteous. Barry has a good sense of humor and it's always nice to deal with a real person. They sometimes call to let me know when packages come in. And I can walk here from my place and trundle my packages back in my cart. They have a fax machine too, so between this place and my local library, where I go to print things and make copies, I have a mini-extension of my office close by. read more

Barry is great but the hours are too short, and the after hours keypad rejects my code at random intervals. I had some lady assault me today by belly blocking me with her bag to keep me out after my code failed. She kept telling me I had no box there even after I showed her the key. She shut up when I opened my box. FIX THE CODE BOX. I never get this crap when I use the US Postal Service boxes. I will be switching services at the end of my lease term.. read more
