I've been going here since before they moved to their current location. I've got nothing but good things to say about the place in general and the staff in particular. Barry has always been friendly and helpful to me and with a great sense of humor. read more

I was shocked when I went to mail a USPS envelope at Mailbox West. Instead of $7.75, it was double...$15.50!! Things have changed there, and not for the better. Go to the US mail, folks, for your mailing...much cheaper and the staff is much more friendly read more

I've used Mailbox West for many years. I believe there is tremendous value here for current customers and many who are looking for new services. Prices are fair. Service, the People that work here are tremendously helpful and kind. A few years ago, change in Ownership. I am pleased to say I've seen many new changes that simplified many processes and services. I have a box here, and will continue to be a Customer. Thanks!!! read more

Why does a mailbox and print place have five star reviews? Because it deserves them! I took in sensitive documents to be faxed. This entailed making copies, printing some pages, and trying to get through to a busy fax line. Both employees who assisted me were friendly and helpful. I had to leave my fax there for half the day because I was waiting for it to go through. I felt comfortable leaving it, and when I went to pick it up, it was ready and waiting for me. Although the fax line (on the receiving end) was ultimately busy, I appreciated that I had some proof of the attempts in the form of printouts. When I had to call and check on it between lunch and the time I got off, someone was always there to answer the phone and help me promptly. This was a much more pleasant experience than going through a big box office supplies store or one of the national chains of shipping companies. It does not have self-service terminals, but you can email documents to be printed to their email address and they can print for you. There is one copy machine at the front of the store that is self-service. Highly recommend! read more

I've had a PO Box here for 4 years now. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Always appreciate the cheerful atmosphere of Mailbox West. A wonderful alternative to USPS. read more

The new owner is friendly and very professional. He has done a great job of revamping the store shipping merchandise. An added bonus for me is the drop off table where I can put my ready to go Fedex, USPS packages which saves me a trip to the post office! Very convenient and appreciated! read more

Posting a long over due shout out to these guys. They are always helpful, informative, and fun to chat with. Joe has been a solid support on mailing many packages for me personally and for my business. This service has saved me countless hours standing in line at the post office, fed ex or ups stores. I have no idea why anyone would go somewhere else. read more

Maybe I came on an off day - but the customer service was definitely lacking - not a neighborly feel but more an interrogation to try and open a PO box - if that's how stressful it was just attempting to do business - imagine if I tried to actually pick up a package - will do business elsewhere - proximity does not override politeness read more

I love this place. A real asset to West Seattle! I've been a customer with Mailbox West for over 5 years. Initially, I rented a mailbox for convenience. (The owner at the time was a bit of a curmudgeon but the shop was close to my home.) However, I have become a huge fan since, Vince Harrelson, took over. The shop is clean and bright. The staff is helpful and friendly. They offer so much of what I need for my small business. Renting a mailbox means I never miss a delivery and don't have to make my home address public. They carry a larger selection of stamps than the two local post offices. I do all my shipping there (both UPS and USPS), plus I can receive faxes, make copies, and print color images from my usb drive or email. If I happen to need business supplies, they have a nice selection on hand. They also carry cards and gift bags which is so helpful when I need to send out gifts! read more

If you need a private mailbox and live in West Seattle, this is the place to come. I had a P.O. box downtown for a long time and I kind of grimaced to give it up and pay private rates, but I wanted a separate business address, plus UPS deliveries to my security condo are hit or miss and I can get packages delivered here because it's a street address. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and courteous. Barry has a good sense of humor and it's always nice to deal with a real person. They sometimes call to let me know when packages come in. And I can walk here from my place and trundle my packages back in my cart. They have a fax machine too, so between this place and my local library, where I go to print things and make copies, I have a mini-extension of my office close by. read more

Great, friendly service. Found the right size box, put my stuff in, taped it up, figured best way to mail. Highly recommended.

The folks at Mailbox West are friendly and competent, always a pleasure to deal with. I have been receiving my mail there for more than three years and they provide excellent customer service. They even call me when a UPS or FedEx package arrives. Highly recommended. read more

Barry is the best! Whenever we need shipping or postal services beyond dropping a flat rate box at the USPS, Mailbox West is where we go. The customer service is beyond compare. Also if I ever need a offsite postal box, this will be the place! read more

Nothing but good things to say! :) When the ownership changed awhile ago, we were wondering if things would change, but so far so good! Everyone is always very friendly read more

The staff are FANTASTIC! Friendly, helpful and good natured. They even called me to let me know that my overnight documents to Louisville had been delivered. This is where I'll be going for my shipping needs from now on. read more

Barry is great but the hours are too short, and the after hours keypad rejects my code at random intervals. I had some lady assault me today by belly blocking me with her bag to keep me out after my code failed. She kept telling me I had no box there even after I showed her the key. She shut up when I opened my box. FIX THE CODE BOX. I never get this crap when I use the US Postal Service boxes. I will be switching services at the end of my lease term.. read more
