Great service, they do a wonderful job of packing things up, and getting things out. The store has a nice display of cards, beautiful wrapping paper and a a few knickknacks (yep, correct spelling) to throw into your package last minute. Just a friendly and helpful vibe. Nice guy, but a scam artist! Brought 70 pieces of mail in. He charged me $4.27 per piece. Told me that it was too thick and not bendable and that there's an additional charge. Told me that they get a 10% mark-up for their service. I was fine with that. When one piece was returned to me due to a mistake on the address, I noticed that the postage stamp was only $3.55. WOW! Hardly a 10% mark-up. When I put the piece in a new envelope, he tried to charge me $4.27 again!!!! WHAT???? He told me it wasn't the same piece as before. DON'T THINK SO!!!!! Went down to the post office at Maxon's. Nicest lady you'll ever meet. She said my piece was bendable and that the charge was $1.95!!!!! WHAT??????? I have had a few different mailboxes with David for over 20 years, for both personal and business--and I also do any outgoing shipping with him as well. He has gone above and beyond the his contractual obligations the entire time. He and his associate Jerry are the friendliest, most thorough, trustworthy people. I travel a lot, and they never mind me calling and asking an odd question or for some strange request. They are in constant communication when a package lands, or goes out, and the peace of mind they have provided has been invaluable. (Plus, the best donuts in LA are in the same plaza!!!) As someone who receives many packages and important business correspondence it is of the utmost importance that I can trust the person receiving my mail. David is amazing---not only does he send a text when every package is received, he is always welcoming and cheerful and helpful every time I walk in the door. I really appreciate the customer service and friendly nature of David at MBnM. It takes all the pressure off of having to worry about mail and packages getting stolen from my home mail box and it is way more full service than expected. David texts when packages are delivered and calls if something is amiss. He provides notary service and all shipping options and even will sign for messenger service. This review is long overdue.... David is beyond the most loyal and caring Mailbox owner around town. I'd like to first comment on the service. David sends out text messages as soon as packages arrive (I know this because I also get email alerts from the shipping companies when my packages arrive). Picking up my mail is always a speedy process, and David is a really pleasant guy to interact with. The weekend of NYE, I hadn't arrived in time to pickup an important package that I needed for New Years Eve. I figured I'd text David to see if he happened to still be in, as the mailroom closed just 15 minutes prior... David informed me that he was not there, and that he would try his best to meet me later that night by the mailroom to give me my package. About 3 hours later, I received a call from David asking if I could meet him by the mailroom. Long story short, I got my package! David had genuine concern and went out of his way on the Saturday before NYE to make sure that I had what I needed to make my NYE party a success. Yesterday I brought in some items to ship. All required careful packing. David spent most of today preparing my shipments. He gave me a substantial good-customer discount and he sent me pictures of his work for my approval. This is well above the level of service I expect from most businesses but it's typical of him. While I was there yesterday, a woman came in with a letter that needed to be postmarked that day. It was already about 5 p.m. but David told her about a nearby post office that would postmark letters until 7 p.m. He didn't make a penny off that encounter. read more

I never write reviews but after seeing such a bad review left by dave. I thought i should say something about my experience with this place. I have had my mail box here for years. Eds a nice guy and he is always there. Fast in and out. Takes care of everything. Sells everything you need for your shipping supplies. He's a master when it comes to getting your stuff safely to a destination. I have never seen anyone package a product into a box with so much consideration on cushioning and padding. By the way, Ed loves donuts if you want to take him some in the morning with a cup of coffee and make his day. read more

Simply put, David of Mailboxes N More takes care of his customers. I've had a mailbox there for years, and if I let David know that I have an important piece of mail coming he always calls or sends me a text promptly when it arrives. Also, I never have to worry about the tedium of packaging cumbersome objects; if I come into Mailboxes N More with something I want to ship, David will find a box that accommodates its size (possibly generously so) and even cut down the remaining dimensions such that the box is as small as possible and I save the most money on shipping costs.
