However, their drink menu (like their specialty sweet teas and ice cream floats) suffers from major variance in sweetness levels from visit to visit. On one trip, a signature drink might be perfectly balanced with just the right level of sugar to let the natural flavors shine through. On the next visit, ordering the exact same item at the standard sweetness level can end up overpoweringly sugary to the point where it overpowers everything else. If you visit, stick to the scoops or ask the staff if they can adjust the syrup/sweetness levels down on the drinks to be safe. My cousin and I stopped here for a tea and an ice cream. I got the Oreo cookie ice cream roll up with bananas added, 4/5. I also got the black sugar milk tea with 50% sweetness, it was wonderful but I thought I had taken the bubble balls out and I hadn't so it ruined it a bit for me 3/5. My cousin ordered the original milk tea with 50% sweetness she couldn't even drink it. It was so gross for her and she added three equals 1/5. If you're even alright with rolled ice cream, you'll love this. Super milky and creamy and fruit was fair quality. We got durian, and they put a lot of durian. About $11 and probably good for 3-4 people to share. During the summer the wait gets really long, but we went when no wait and took about 4 minutes. Service was nice and shop was cute. read more

The honey and I had some absolutely amazing rolled ice cream in San Ramon not too long ago so when I saw that Magical Ice Cream had rolled ice cream I was all in! The shop has quite a bit of inside seating, but no outside seating and they have a single tablet you can order from. It was honestly much easier than trying to read their small print wall menu and I liked using the tablet because I could remove several of the additional toppings (graham and oreo) from the 'Morning Call' and just leave it as straight cappuccino flavored, although I did add marshmallow thinking that it would be a whipped marshmallow but it was actually just small mini marshmallows that you would put in hot chocolate. The size of the dessert worked really well for me as it wasn't as dense as the Brazilian version, however it was still slightly bigger than what I would normally go for.
