Great catering option. We come here often and decided to try the catering for work. It was ready on time for early pick up. Picked up the order 30 minutes after they opened and helped me out to my car. Everything was hot and fresh. Got the option to add the 20pc egg rolls for $15 more. 1/2 trays of fried rice, chow mein, broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken. Great deal for the portion sizes. Teriyaki sauce and egg roll sauce were given to us also which was a plus!

For being a picky eater, this was pretty good. The food was made fresh because there was a lot of people, so they needed to keep making new batches. The owner/ staff are amazing. They make you feel so welcomed and want to make sure you have everything you may need for your meal. There's enough space for many people to sit down and enjoy their meal. It was clean and spacious. Can't wait to come back.

I tried the sampler special and it was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was the fried shrimp. It was just a very tiny shrimp with so much batter. it was literally just batter on top of batter on top of batter. The shrimp was probably like 1 cm by 1 inches long. I got the orange chicken with the chow mein. I thought it would be something similar to like panda express or something, but I would usually get when I go to a Chinese food restaurant and it was not. They offer a pretty big portion, but the food was just not that great. I think the best thing was the dumpling. The chow mein was really sad and plain and did not really taste stir fried fried or flavorful. It tasted like some sauce was mixed or some noodles in a bowl. The orange chicken was not sweet at all and did not have that tangy flavor or sweet flavor that you would find in orange sauce. It did not satisfy my orange chicken craving. On the other hand, the food was not that oily. TLDR - orange chicken and chow mein is bleh, good dumplings

I was very happy with the portion size and price of this place. It was busy and for a good reason! We ordered 3, 3 item combos to feed about 9 people, and it was more than enough food. They let us taste food as well, which was nice post covid. The tangerine chicken was my favorite. It was sweet but not too sweet and had a little savory taste, too. The bbq pork was okay, I think it had too much marinade on it, but it was good as well. The chowmein is always great, and this one didn't have too many veggies, which my kids liked. It was about $13 for a 3 item plate, which is a STEAL! You can even eat inside if you would like to. Overall, this place is now one of our favorites, and we'll be coming back if we are ever in the area. Huge portions and very delicious taste!

    Bowl Special Combo #1

came in today like 30 mins-an hour ago ordered 1 plate half/half double orange and bowl half/half & orange. bowl was ok the plate had a bunch of hair, pulled out 3 chunks before this knotted. i started choking on the hair since it was wrapped in the chowmein/orange chicken. when i called to ask for my money back the person on the phone said they need to see my plate. i said its in the trash already, i have a video/pictures showing clear as day that there is hair!! terrible communication & costumer service, just lost a loyal customer, i loved coming here.

I wish there was a better way of seeing that list because I really had no clue and waited in line for nothing. The wait time honestly needs better attention. We probably waited around 20-25 minutes. It was very busy that day, and I'm not sure if it's because it's the weekend and/or due to Chinese New Year. Staff members are shuffling back and forth and are quite rude to be honest. I get that they are stressed running around, but still.... Anyways, we ordered the following via online (scan the QR Code on the table, that is probably better since they are too busy to take your order): - 1 shrimp siu mai (4 pieces) = $5.99 - 1 shrimp dumplings (we got 4 pieces instead of 3 per menu): $5.99 - 1 steamed BBQ pork buns (3 pieces) = $5.99 - 2 sticky rice wrapped with lotus leaf (4 total) = $13.98 - 1 yang chow fried rice = $15.99 - 1 seafood with pan fried crispy noodle = $17.99 SUBTOTAL = $65.93 TAX = $5.11 TOTAL = $71.04 ** Place $10 tip via cash ** We received our yang chow fried rice and crispy noodle timely, however it took a REALLY LONG TIME for us to receive the rest of the orders (the dim sum aka yum cha order); I had to ask the front how long the wait will be, otherwise we will cancel - the lady ended up checking and we got some of our orders. If I didn't ask, the wait time would be wayyyyy longer. Overall, we all enjoyed the food. Very authentic (Hong Kong Style). Management needs to improve and the wait time. Very small inside, this place needs to expand. There is another location in El Monte.

We arrived and were seated right away, and a waiting crowd gathered outside as the evening went on. FRIED FISH FILET WITH SEAWEED: 4/5. While it was a little bit oily for me personally, the fish inside was super flaky, and the batter was really crispy and savory. BEAN CURD WITH PORK: 5/5. The best version I've had of this dish, period. There was something incredibly addictive about how savory and balanced it was. Textures were on point, too: super tender, not rubbery at all. SHRIMP WITH SCRAMBLED EGG: 5/5. The eggs were so soft, creamy, and delicious, with plenty of shrimp in and under the egg. BASIL FRIEND EGGPLANT: 5/5. Yes. This is the flavor I'm looking for when I order this dish. Deep, basil-forward flavor that permeates the eggplant and onions. MUSHROOM AND PORK BELLY HOTPOT: 5/5. Loved the many textures the assorted mushrooms offered. Pork belly was silky, and the mala spice was well balanced.

I did not expect a plate full sides stuffed next to each other, was a bit messy at first but overall the taste of everything was refreshing. We ordered the seaweed salad, the bean curd salad, and the spicy pig ears. The dish that I ordered was the spicy Szechuan noodles which blew me away. The consistency of the noodles and the beef slices were exceptional. The bok choy was also very well prepared and added a nice crunch texture. This is also a sauced dish (although my initial thought was that I was going to be a soup) which to me didn't matter. The chili oil was very well prepared and flavor packed. Not only that, the portions were enormous. Some other dishes we ordered were the braised beef noodle soup which was hearty, rich, and comforting. We ordered the A10 as well, but that will take me a couple tries since the flavor was unfamiliar to me. Willing to come back and try more things as many times as it takes! This restaurant, like most of the reviews claim, is indeed a gem and I highly recommend it!

A very nice, clean, and quiet establishment with pretty quick service. It's my new go-to soup spot in the area.

The server was very attentive to us while she took care of 4 other tables on her own. You do have to pay at store and not on the app when you're ready to checkout. The food came out fast and it tasted fresh. Portion size of the items are great. The bbq pork bun dough was a bit mushy to me. I like when the bun is fluffy and soft. The egg tart was perfect and not overcooked. The shumai and har gar was delicious and huge. The chicken sticky rice was very yummy . The spareribs were a bit fatty but had great flavor. The beef stew rice noodle soup was not my favorite. The beef stew was tender but it lacked flavor and the soup needed more flavor.
