I love going to an all vegetarian restaurant when the options are plenty! Big variety of items to choose from and large portions. When you come in, you order at the counter then take a seat. Seating is limited and not convenient for large families or groups. Once your buzzer goes off, you go back up to the counter to pick up your food. Food was great and quick. Service was great, but there is no server or table service. They only offer plastic utensils. If you order water, they just give you a water bottle. There isn't someone refilling drinks or taking your empty plates. Food is served on disposable plates and containers. And you dispose of your trash in the trash can yourself near the door. I tried this place via DoorDash and was really pleased! The paneer pizza was absolutely delicious! It was more flatbread style, but it was just perfect for me. Also, the pani puri was packaged so well! The aloo-chana mix was in a small styrofoam cup and placed inside another plastic container that had the puri. Meanwhile, the pani came in a cool little bottle! My only issue was there wasn't enough puri to accommodate the aloo-chana -- the only reason for not rating it five stars. Beyond that, it was great! My mom and older sis enjoyed the Aloo Tikki Chole Chat, and the restaurant was kind enough to make me behl without onions! I truly enjoyed my food and will order again when I am in town next time!! read more

Ordered Veggie fried rice, Veggie manchurian fry and vada pav. Portion sizes are smaller than other places but perfect for me. All the food items tasted excellent. It would have been nice if there was a free water fountain. Otherwise place is clean and maintained well. The food is wonderful. Love the taste. It's got great flavor and consistency that I found only a few vegetarian restaurants do it. There was Sai Sweets. But the owner screwed it up with so much inconsistencies in flavors in the same food every time. I went to Magic Spice 2 times in 3 weeks and noticed the same taste. The quality of food is great. Service can be a lot, lot better. Because the way they arrange the cutlery is just like losely placed forks, knives, and spoons - but this area can be organized well. This is a major weakpoint of Indian restaurants. They perhaps need to pay an interior designer for recommendation in organizing it just like the way the chain fast food restaurants manage it. Ambiance is OK. Cannot complain. Better seating could be great. But given the space and the shape of the structure it's designed more so as a Pick up rather than dining in. Hopefully they grow and expand with a bigger space and good seating like a proper restaurant. read more

Best in the town, truly better than other competitors in Troy know for their famous Indian vegatarian fast food.
