Lentils in soup were not fully cooked. They were crunchy and got stuck in your teeth. Chicken Shish Kebab was shriveled and dried up. I ended up eating the the grilled peppers and onions and taking the soup home to finish cooking. We were the only guests and it took almost 30 minutes to get food made that was not cooked correctly.

I miss have smoothies/boba drinks made this way. I did like the huge menu because there are so many choices of options. I did like the scallion lobster although it was messy to eat. The flavor reminded me that that canned chop suey I ate as a child. I felt their prices were kind of high for the area. Just my personal option. I wasn't a huge fan of the pho broth, but I didn't hate it either. I'm indifferent bout it. But my noodles were very clumped together and hard to break apart to eat them in the soup. I would have preferred more white onion and not more green in the soup. The meat choice (brisket sliced beef) was ok. The price for the bowl was reasonable. The crab pho was not worth the price. This was over priced I feel. Maybe I would give them another try and try their traditional plates. The chicken quarters looked good and so did the seafood boils. Service was kinda slow. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and greet us. We got water and then we wait a little more time for a waiter. Overall the service was not bad. Our waiter was pretty cool. Restaurant wasn't dirty but there were some flies buzzing.

Recently, my husband & I finally tried Voyager after having it on our list for many years. When I…read moresaw that they were having their annual Mid-Winter Lobster Boil, it sounded like fun and the perfect opportunity to check them out. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from the bartender. My husband had a new-to-him beer, which he enjoyed, and I tried the House Martini, which had saffron-infused gin, Strega and dill oil with a pickled onion. It was unique and enjoyable. Before our lobster boil arrived (we had a heads up that it would take 20 minutes), we ordered a bowl of chowder and hush puppies to split. These were my favorite part of the meal! Both were EXCELLENT! The chowder had light, crunchy, homemade croutons in the soup, and it was the perfect addition and the hush puppies were some of the best I've ever tasted. I will share one disappointment. The RESY page where they took the reservations/orders said: "We'll offer a small a la carte menu of coastal favorites & seasonal specials too (e.g. fried clams, shucked oysters, crispy fish sandwiches, etc.)." My husband was excited for the fried clams and talked about getting them several times leading up to our dinner, only to find out there were no fried clams offered. As a matter of fact, our request was met with a reaction that led me to believe that was never even a part of the plan. So why post that in the description? We enjoyed the lobster boil, but felt it was overpriced for what we got. We felt the other items we ordered off the menu were well worth the prices. Our overall impression is that this small, casual restaurant has quality seafood, side dishes and drinks. We will definitely return to try some other items off their regular menu (and get the chowder and hush puppies again!)

Can't leave this review without mentioning their annual mid-winter lobster boil...a NOT TO BE MISSED event! A whole perfectly prepared lobster, accompanied by sausage, fresh mussels, fresh clams, corn, new potatoes, herby seasoned broth, and of course, drawn butter! Watch for it and get your reservation in! You won't be disappointed! Sorry, we were so busy enjoying the evening, we forgot to take pics, but here's one pic from last year's mud-winter boil!

The layout includes three bars: the main bar, the sushi bar, and the tiki bar. The crab rangoon cheese katsu sticks were as good as they sound. I was worried there wouldn't be much crab, but that wasn't the case. The lobster tail robata was easy to peel, and complemented well by its accompaniments. The pork belly robata was tender, while the tare added some sweetness. Of the two, I preferred the pork belly. I've had four of the six bao buns. The chicken had a char flavor, and the steak sauce added some welcome moisture. The filet was tender, with a bold but not overbearing garlic aioli. The pork belly was also tender, glazed with a sweet honey, and balanced by some savory pickles. The sausage had a nice snap, and the Fresno peppers gave it a bit of a kick. The filet and pork belly were my two favorites. The sushi is some of the best I've had locally. The shikotsu roll (wagyu and bone marrow) was incredibly rich and buttery. $36 may seem steep, but it's the most memorable sushi roll I've ever had. The toro (fatty tuna) to caviar was also very impressive, and had soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Here's how I rank the nigiri I've tried: 1. Tamago (omelette) 2. Madai (sea bream) 3. Aji (horse mackerel) 4. Shima Aji (striped jack) 5. Ikura (salmon roe) 6. Uni (sea urchin) Lastly, for dessert, I've had the key lime pie. It was remarkably fluffy and honestly one of the best slices I've had. Simply put, TigerLily blew me away. I can confidently say it's one of my favorite restaurants in the Metro Detroit area. I'll be back soon to try the brunch, noodle, and sandwich options.

I am not great with Asian seasonings so unsure which ones they use. The ham is sweet so the Benedict is a great mix of sweet, smokey, and savory. Definitely the best I've had. I wish they'd do something unique like a wasabi or kimchi version. We've been here twice for just brunch. One of my favorite places. If they had a mimosa deal, it'd be perfect.

The staff is efficient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. To start, the split pea soup and onion rings are both solid choices. The soup is made in-house, and the panko-breaded onion rings were crispy and firm. I happened to dine in when lamb chops were on special. They were meaty and cooked just right. As for the burgers, Coach sources its meat from Fairway Packing Co. and its buns from Cannelle by Matt Knio. I've tried the All American and the Coach burger. The All American features standard toppings, while the Coach burger is topped with an egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, and a special sauce. Of the two, I preferred the Coach burger, though both were enjoyable. The French fries are hand cut and on the thicker side. The Cajun fries had just the right amount of seasoning, and the garlic fries were well complemented by the cotija cheese and garlic aioli. Fries are not included with any of the handhelds. For dessert, I've had the peanut butter cheesecake. It was rich, with a brownie-like crust. Coach Grille shouldn't be compared to the average bar. While the menu features typical bar food, the quality is well above the norm. Whether you come here for a burger, or something else, you won't be disappointed.

I've spotted a new special every time I've been, so they keep things fresh and rotational which you don't always see in sports bars. So far, I've had the Pulled Pork Brioche, Gourmet Burger, and Suicide Burger but there's more of the menu I'd like to try. My only criticism is the french fries are thick cut steak fries which aren't my preference and despite the Garlic Fries being talked up a lot, I thought they were on the bland side. If they added shoestring fries and a nice house made Caesar dressing and Chicken Caesar Salad, they'd be the perfect spot for me.

Since this was our first visit we didn't know what to expect but the reviews looked good. We arrived to a packed house and I was surprised how small and crammed it was inside. Dumpy is tree he word is use to describe the inside. Peeling paint and stained ceilings. Ventilation system look like it was straight out of the 70s and never maintained since then. I never thought I'd have to worry about Legionnaires disease but this is the place that stuff like that starts in. Tired, old and dingy inside. I'm not opposed to dive bars and restaurants, in fact I love them but Boodles paints themselves as upscale dining with prices to support that. It's anything but. The tables are crammed very close together and you can't help but bump into the people dining next to you to get to your table. I've been in small, intimate restaurants before with the same type of tight configurations but this was almost ridiculous. We ordered a round of drinks. A Cosmopolitan for me and an Old Fashioned for the boyfriend. The people next to us had a group of 6 and they mentioned they have been waiting for almost 2 1/2 hours for their main course. That was another bad sign. Our drinks arrived and were very lackluster. All you could taste was booze which isn't a bad thing if you were ordering it straight or just on the rocks but a steakhouse like Boodles should know how to make a quality Cosmo and Old Fashioned. We ordered the bread service which doesn't come with dinner and was an additional $6. Nothing to write home about even though they claim it's their homemade sourdough. Personally I didn't feel it was worth six dollars. We each got a Caesar salad and while the salad was a nice portion it was lacking in flavor and very little dressing. We waited for our waitress to come and check on us to ask for a side of additional dressing but she never came around. We ate the salad and finished our round of drinks. I was already skeptical on ordering a main course because everything up until this point had been a miss. Against my better judgment I ordered their signature item: Steak Diane prepared table side. My boyfriend ordered the 16 ounce ribeye. Both entrées come with a side of their lyonnaise potatoes. While we waited for our entrées we each ordered a glass of the house Cabernet. They do give a generous pour so that was a plus. After waiting almost an hour they started to prepare the Steak Diane. It was cool to watch them prepare it table side and after waiting almost an hour I was happily hungry with anticipation. I wish I could say it was halfway decent but it was overcooked. I ordered my steak medium rare in hopes that if it does come out a little more than medium rare it's still pink and flavorful. It was grey inside with no pink at all. Even the sauce it was cooked and was devoid of flavor. How is it possible with all the butter and the garlic they were using it was still lackluster? My boyfriend did say his steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was excellent. The lyonnaise potatoes were also tasty. This was the best part of the entire dining experience other than leaving. After our waitress came back to check on us I told her I was not happy with my main course and that I would like to send it back. She asked if I wanted something else and I said no thank you I'll just take the check. They did take my steak off the bill since I had only tried one bite. My boyfriend had his steak packaged up to go. We just wanted to get out of there at that point. What was surprising is nobody seemed to care or even inquire what they could do better to improve the situation. Every staff member we encountered was very nonplus which makes me think this is not an isolated incident. After paying our bill we walked by a group of people coming in for dinner. They asked us how everything was and I said well we are leaving and if you leave now you can save yourself three hours of your time only to be disappointed.
