Then I tried Dearborn Heights a couple of years later. Same thing!!! I just tried this location in Warren, and it's phenomenal too. I'm not sure why I didn't post reviews in the past. This was such a good burger!…read more One of the best burgers I have had. I have been wanting to try this place for years. I was finally on the right side of time and had time to go in. They are located next to a gas station which comes in handy if you also need gas. I order the number 1 and my son ordered the pizza burger. Both were very filling and delicious. The original burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was pretty good. The onions and pickles were so good and I don't usually like pickles. I didn't try the signature sauce as I'm not a fan of thousand island. But many people will enjoy it the way it's suppose to be made I'm sure. The pizza burger was pretty cool. It had 3 nice sized mozzarella sticks on them and pizza sauce. We wanted fries and they only come in one size. The one size is big enough to share. We were suggested the lemon pepper fries and that was such a great suggestion. They are fresh cut fries and you can tell. I was happy they had regular fries and not the battered crispy ones a lot of place do. So they definitely will get 5 stars for the fries alone. It has some seating inside, but most people seem to get carry out. The men at the counter were so nice in helping us. They really suggested things we would like and we did. I will be glad to give them my business again.

Since being recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance, I've been on the lookout for places with…read moregood gluten-free options. This spot has quickly become my go-to when I'm craving "fast food" style meals. So far, I've tried the gluten-free chicken tenders, cheeseburger on a gluten-free bun, seasoned fries, and even their gluten-free cookie. The chicken tenders are especially delicious; once home, I like to drizzle honey and dip them in barbecue sauce, which takes them to the next level. The seasoned fries are always perfectly crispy and flavorful. I'm not a fan of their gluten-free bun or gf cookie but I think I just have to get used to eating things without gluten in it now. The staff has consistently been friendly and helpful. While the seating area inside is small (making it more of a takeout spot), there are a few tables if you'd like to dine in. There's also a small bathroom available and a convenient ordering screen in the lobby for quick service. Overall, this is a solid place for gluten-free comfort food; whether you're in the mood for burgers, sandwiches, or chicken tenders. I've already been several times, and I'll definitely keep coming back!

I've had better plant-based hot dogs but it wasn't bad. The burger was really good, but I wish the cheese was melted on it. The prices were the only downside. $13 for a kinda small burger. The fries were really good as well (not included with the burger) but I couldn't taste any seasoning despite being called seasoned fries. I'll be back to try the vegan chicken tenders!

We ordered ours for delivery through DoorDash. The restaurant staff made our food correctly with the customizations/add ons. Despite his craving, we both ended up wanting their new crispy chicken sandwich called The Heights with a side of fries. My boyfriend also got a side of seasoned fries and macaroni bites. The regular fries had no seasoning but were crispy so I was fine with them. The seasoned fries were incredibly spicy. The macaroni bites were standard and fine. The chicken sandwich was not good. It was two giant chicken tenders that tasted frozen and super old. Like they had been sitting under a food warmer for too long. I opted out of eating my sandwich. My boyfriend agreed that the sandwich was not very good and didn't eat his either, but he liked everything else. He says their burgers are very good, however, so I would give this place another try and order a burger. Moral of the story: don't order a chicken sandwich from a burger joint.

Although my usual "go to fried chicken" is Church's Fried Chicken, we decided on Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen because they could provide an order for 200 pieces of chicken, some sides and boxes to serve our chicken, and their price was very competitive. My biggest complaint about Popeye's was the size of their chicken pieces. Heck, I've had Cornish Hen legs and thighs that were larger than my local Popeye's offerings. But, at the picnic Popeye's Chicken was fantastic! Their chicken, legs, thighs, breast, and wings were comparable to anything KFC or Church's provides. And more important, everything tasted delicious! Although I prefer the dark meat; a drumstick or thigh, the breast was surprisingly moist and tasty! I've ordered chicken from other Popeye locations and their chicken was very disappointing. But this location must have a secret receipt! Bottom line, our family picnic was a roaring success, mainly due to the great food Popeye's provided. I would be remiss if I didn't comment on the efforts of this Popeye's location's management and employees. They performed above and beyond to ensure that we received our food order on a timely basis. Although our order was about an hour late due to some employees not coming in last Sunday, the store manager and two employees were fantastic. Due to their efforts, our annual family picnic memorable. Therefore, for the quality and taste for their fried chicken, I give this Popeye's location: 5 STARS. And to the employees and management of this Popeye's location for their efforts to ensure a successful picnic: 5+ STARS
