Went in for a free hook and ladder deal through T Mobile. Had to buy something, anything, in order to get the medium sandwich. They are located on Gratiot avenue just north of 696 and the famous National Coney. Not a lot of parking, but ample of they're not swamped it looks as if they don't do any dine in here, it was pretty desolate and table-less. Had to travel to Detroit for 23 hours, was starving after not eating all day, so I sought this place out for a sandwich and bag of chips. The interior was clean, the two female staffers were pleasant for the most part. The sandwich was made hot and fresh and was eaten at my Detroit HQ. The sandwich was delicious and hit the spot. You really can't go wrong here, it's a hot sub with lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise. There was no 3 alarm fire, but there was a 3 alarm hunger, and the firehouse sub hook and ladder hit the spot. read more

The service here has always been good. I just don't understand why every time I come here, they don't put everything I ask for on my sub. Even when I order in person or through the app they never add my two add on items to my sub. All I ask for as an add on is banana peppers and olives. I get home and it's never on there. If you don't have it in stock then tell me. read more

The orders are always correct, the food is always up to expectation and the service is like none other! Love every single one of the staf, super friendly. read more

Two 12 inch Subs $35.00 is ridiculous and the taste wasn't nothing Special. I was really disappointed cause I put firehouse above the other sandwich shops like subway and jimmy johns but not anymore... They need to care about the quality like they did before cause what I got was Sad no effort and not worth my money....sad read more

We love a great sandwich and this place checked all the boxes. Generous servings of meat/cheese on a delicious, fresh sub roll. Will definitely return. read more

I'm sorry I didn't post a pic, charge it to my head. I tried Firehouse subs because Uber eats had a special which was BOGO, I bought the meatball sub and the Hook and Ladder. Well they dropped the ball with I ordered a combo with a 20oz. Bottle coke and chips, the young lady arrived with a 16oz fountain soda and no chips, I didn't get what I paid for but Uber eats gave me a credit, I noticed the next day they took $5 away, I'm going to assume that was the tip. Anywho, the Meatball sub was great, my bread was fresh and soft, it was warm but I expected that because the young lady was coming from Roseville to Detroit, The cheese was melted, it wasn't hard, the sauce was even good, I have no complaints! Next day I had the Hook and Ladder, something on the sandwich was sweet, I couldn't figure it out, I believe it was the mayo. I personally believe some foods shouldn't be sweet, a sandwich is on my list, so that turned me off a little, but sandwich was well put together with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. It wasn't messy, actually it's a good size sandwich, I love they you a recycle container the sandwich came in. It was just OK to me. Those are only two I tried, there's other sandwiches they make might be more appealing but if I go again, Hook and Ladder isn't my choice. Well as service, that's why I gave it a three, didn't have to be at the restaurant to see they need a little help because I didn't receive what I ordered, which was the combo part. They easily fell off the ladder on that! read more

Warning don't make a online purchase from this location. The two unhelpful/unfriendly women weren't able to find my online order I paid for and after contacting corporate I was once again given a hard time for a refund. There subs are over priced and there staff are two miserable women. read more

First time trying Firehouse Subs, it was really good!! I liked the look of it too and everyone was really nice. My sub was amazing. Would definitely go again and would recommend. read more

Firehouse subs are the best! Very delicious hot subs and kids loved the fountain drink machine. Prices are about 2x as Subway and Port of Subs. read more

Tasteless skimpy subs, once was enough. Overpriced and not very good. Don't waste your time or money.

This review is for the cleanliness of the store. It was utterly gross!! Not one table in the place was clean. So we ate at the least dirty table. There was food all over the floor under the tables that were not clean and Trash can were full. I am pretty sure the bathroom hadn't been clean all day. Makes me worried about how clean the foods prep area was. Wouldn't go back to this location due to how dirty everything was read more

They took the hot sauces away so i took my business away. Without the sauces their subs can't compete with others. It's a shame because i really enjoyed trying the different sauces. read more

I never leave reviews but I really love this place! I've been here a few times. The subs are always great! I'm a really picky eater and my sub is always made perfectly! Everyone who works here is super sweet and personable! Only subshop I want to hit anymore! read more

I've been seeing the commercials on television and also driving by this location but I would never stop. Yesterday I I tried them out for the 1st time. I ordered 2 Smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket combos. The total came up to $28 and some change. Wow!!! The sub wasn't bad but for the price it wasn't worth it. I won't be going hear again. read more

Omg the Steamer sub is fantastic. Only complaint is there was no meat at the end of the bread , probably a new person working. This place will not disappoint you if u like subs. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff is very helpful & patient if you have never been there. read more

Bummed would be an understatement. Got delivery. Bill was over $35 Food consisted of 2 tiny teeny baby subs, Chips and, wow...gigantic fountain drinks. Chili was in a tiny cup. So grosse, by the way! Really??? Never ever ever again! Oh, wait! The Fritos were yummy read more

The best I ate sandwich way better than Subway or Charley's, Firehouse Subs is deliciously awesome sandwiches. I did tried Steak and cheese 'cause too meat. The second sub is Firehouse Meatball is real tasty and the sauce is really really spicy! Well, I love 3 restaurant subs. read more

this is my first firehouse sub experience and I think it may have been overly hyped up. It was an okay sub but nothing I would get excited about. I have not been to the place itself as I had a coworker pick one up for me so I cannot comment on the look and feel of the place. read more

Firehouse Subs - Lunch. Firehouse hero! - Fast Food Near Me - Roseville, Michigan

I went in there Friday and none of the three employees working were wearing masks. I talked to the manager on the phone and he told me that they all had "medical conditions". How convenient. If that is indeed the case i think they need to put on the front door that this is a non mask wearing establishment so that the customer can be forewarned. read more

Clean and friendly place. Decor very nice. Subs are very good. The bread is soft with two kind to pick from. Lots of meat. I usually get the #4 Italian. They have a kind of sweet taste. I like that, but my brother does not. So you may want to take that into consideration. I am usually a Tubby's Subs fan. But this may be my new sub place. read more

Decent option for subs, although a little pricier than you'd like to pay. It's definitely better quality than, say, Subway or jimmy johns- but I guess you get what you pay for. The hot sauce rack is a nice touch; but there is a major downside...the staff. Always distant and kinda standoffish, like you are annoying them for being there. If you're in the mood for a sub, not bad for an alternative to the plain-jane subs. read more

It came off as steamed lunch meat and didn't pack the flavor. Bun gets soggy if u take it out vs eating there. Employees seemed half interested that I was there and that is always a turn off. read more

Roseville Michigan 11 and Gratiot Best Subs ever but more than that is the staff they are the best of best, very friendly and always so nice! If I was their boss I would definitely give them a big bonus for exceptional customer service! read more

Firehouse Subs - Delicious Turkey Bacon Ranch Sub - Fast Food Near Me - Roseville, Michigan

It is always a treat to come to this place. It never disappoints! The staff is amazing and the subs are cooked to perfection. I usually get the Italian combo. The sauce rack is a treat too cuz you can try and experience 15 types of sauces from all sorts of brands. The sauces too are gauged from 1-10 depending on their heat intensity. To me Firehouse stands out when it comes to flavor. Every bite is amazing! From The bread to the meat. read more

I tried to compare the warren location to this one, and there's really no comparison. Roseville might have more customers, but the place is always very messy. Bread crumbs all over the place. I ordered a large hook and ladder and it had barely any meat on it, I later found out that they accidentally put medium size meat on it. Maybe will return if ever in area. read more

I was happy when I saw Firehouse subs move into the neighborhood so I had to try it! Upon walking in it was decorated nicely and clean. However that's when the experience here went downhill and quick! We stood behind one, yes one customer for five minutes before being able to actually order because the girl taking orders couldn't locate the buttons. Meanwhile there was at least 8 to 10 employees standing around looking clueless, doing what I have no idea aside from the one or two making food and one at the register. Yes one at the register, they have two. Upon finally ordering it took the girl at the register a minute to find one button again after asking who appeared to be the manager. Then we had to repeat what we wanted again, apparently she forgot what button she was looking for in the first place! From ordering to the food arriving was about ten minutes, we counted two orders placed after ours in those same ten minutes! Did I mention slow? Meanwhile the line started forming to the door. We watched as the man who appeared to be the manager sat at a table on a laptop, doing what I don't know but he would have fared better actually trying to get the orders expedited! Maybe helping at the register with those tricky buttons! Opening the second register? The same kids standing around, blank faced. The subs delivered were at best a few degrees above room temperature. We ordered the Smokehouse brisket and the signature Pork Thai. The brisket was edible I hardly noticed any bbq sauce, no taste of mayo or cheese for that matter. It was basically brisket on a bun, shredded brisket mind you and definitely not worth the money. The Pork Thai was bordering on gross! The Mrs only was able to eat a small half, maybe 4 bites of it before tapping out! I gave it a try and she was right! It had a horrible taste not to mention it was soaked in grease! I almost lost my brisket sub after a bite from the pork. Way, way too greasy and the taste was just horrible! Needless to say that sub was tossed on the way out. I wasn't impressed with the food at all, I was actually turned off by it. The staff was clueless and slow, obviously not trained enough if at all. Although the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The employees and the manager need lots and lots of training! And maybe a lesson on emptying the trash which was full to the brim when we tossed out the sub we didn't eat. Save your money....Our two combo meal subs, one regular and one large was over $20. I don't mind paying good money for good food but this wasn't it. I give this place a year at best before they're gone. I give it 2 stars for cleanliness and appearance, 1 star for service only because they were younger kids without training and a 0 on the food. read more

went in looking for a good sub like i usually do, and they charged us 9 dollars for my sandwich. they got my order wrong, and we payed for a brownie and they didnt get us a brownie. i understand when they are busy but they were empty. and they added cajun mustard and cajun mayo to the sandwich when we asked for it plain. will not be coming back! went to subway instead. read more

Although I am disappointed that they do not have their broccoli soup until the fall, I am very happy with the taste of their food thus far. Had their King's Hawaiian Pork & Slaw sandwich and it was pretty awesome! I was sold at King's Hawaiian bread...mmm, I love that stuff(almost as much as I love pretzel buns)! Pulled pork is hit and miss with places but, I figured the slaw would make up for any lost or off flavor....but, the 12-hour pit-smoked pulled pork did not disappoint and the Hawaiian coleslaw was super yummy as well. A sweet sandwich that plays very well on the taste buds with all its sweet ingredients. MMMMMMM! A MUST HAVE for any pulled pork and Hawaiian bun fan!!! read more

3 stars is good. I've carried out 3 times and let the staff choose my sub each time. No disappointments, brisket was good, turkey ...well it's turkey, Italian sub. .. Very tasty. I enjoy a hot sub so for me this knocks Subway and Jimmy John's out of the park. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is knowledgeable. I'll be back as I prefer it to fast food burger joints. read more

This location has a lot to learn compared to the others. I've been to several and this one has the slowest service. I waited 15 minutes for a salad. And they also don't ask if you want to round up your order to support the local firefighters. This had happened on several occasions. read more

I've been eating Firehouse subs for years. First in Florida and then when I moved to Michigan, I would go to Rochester to get my Firehouse fix. I was thrilled to see one open right in my area. Big let down. I ordered a grilled veggie sub. It was terrible. It had lettuce, tomato and mayo on it. It wasn't toasted at all. It had no grilled veggies at all. What a complete let down. I will drive to Royal oak or Rochester next time. read more

I thought my sub was awesome. 1st time I went to a Fire House Subs EVER. Had the steak and cheese and my wife had the beef sub, a number 12 I think.... like I said mine wash very good but I had a bite of hers and we both agreed that the beef was very dry. The store its self was very clean, very cool and nice inside and the computerized pop machine was very cool I never used one before and it had every single one of Coca Colas flavors. read more

Firehouse subs are really good. They are my favorite subs, but ordering for a family of 4 gets pretty expensive. I like that they have limited time subs because I like trying new ones. I've tried the chicken dumpling soup and that was pretty good. The chili I wasn't that impressed with. I think I'd rather just have a larger sub than having a side. read more
