I finally got here today, and I am thrilled. I was a walk in, I wanted acrylic removed, and I wanted Gel-X which I've had done for 5 years. AND, I wanted Cat's Eye Magnetic Gel. In 30 seconds, I was seated, I was looking at colors, and Tallie (I think that's her name) was on the job. She was efficient, and expert at her job. The salon is clean, quiet, spacious with a convenient location and tons of parking. Their prices are very reasonable. Next visit, I'll add a pedicure.

If you've ever been to a nail salon before, you know that you go in for one thing and the amount can bloom and have you in your feelings. I am glad to report that I didn't have to experience any of that on my visit. Located in a bustling outdoor shopping corridor next to Sam's Club, parking is dynamic but wasn't an issue when I visited. Be forewarned, they do not accept American Express for payment. Probably because of the high fees associated in doing so. They are capable of accepting contactless pay, cash and other credit cards. There was not a charge to pay via credit cards at the time of my visit. The areas were well lit, and things were orderly. I was taken to the pedicure chairs and it was only delayed because I spent time trying to decide what color I'd like. The most refreshing thing about this visit was how the technician explained to customers in terms they could understand and when I inquired about whether I should keep my gel polish on, she gave straight answers and it was never an upsell. That was appreciated because some places will put acrylic over a nail with fungus if it means they'll make some money off of you. It was a good experience. The only detractor was that I had to point out to the guy performing my pedicure where to give attention to based on the level of pedicure I paid for. Overall, I left happy and would go there again if in the area.

When I walked in all the nail techs were busy but I only had to wait about 5 minutes until Nichole was available. I can't say enough about how well my nails turned out! Nichole was friendly and listened to exactly what I wanted done and made sure they turned out just that way. She took her time and made sure each nail was perfectly filed without any damage to my skin or cuticles like some other nail salons I've been to. The pink ombré coloring is so beautiful and so well blended that I honestly couldn't be happier and will be going back when they need to be filled.

I asked if we could make my nails look more normal and was told yes. According to my podiatrist, I was to request filing down the thick nails. Which I did. "Venus" did a lot of double talk and sweet talking. She said I was going to need rubber base instead of acrylic, and removal of dead skin. I thought this was in addition yo the medi pedi. But as it turned out, that was **ALL** I got. There was no pedicure. Just lots of pink rubber base put on my toenails. With a big space between that and my cuticles. (I was told it looked like i was wearing bubble gum on my toes. I was told I was ripped off.) "I'm not a foot doctor.... I can't change the shape of your nails...I don't have the training to do what you want...." She said these things after I had paid 150 dollars plus a big tip, AND paid another 50 dollar deposit for this Thursday. Did I thank her for what she did? Yes I did. I thought I could specifically request what I thought we should do to change the appearance. But every suggestion I made was denied. "I'm not a foot doctor and I don't have the training...." Then why did you take this job? Guess what. I'm not currently working, but I did do manis and pedis in the past. I know how its done. I did not receive a pedicure, or a medi pedi. I was definitely overcharged for what I received. And she refused to make it look better. After all this, "Venus" came after me on facebook because she did not like some of my posts. She also had said she hates Christianity and said we are pedophiles and satan worshippers. This, and other things were said on facebook. And she unfriended me.I will spare you from any more details. Suffice it to say, I was no longer comfortable with the thought of this woman being in my home, and doing my nails. So I ended the service/client relationship. Lastly, I requested my last deposit be returned. She has not yet returned it. I doubt she will. So it is for these reasons I would not recommend this business to anyone. Even if for no other reason than the fact that she most definitely overcharges! I can go and get a full medical pedicure, including the rubber base, for 60 to 80 dollars.
