This place might be cheap but it's not worth it. No other place has charged me for gel removal when I'm there to get another gel manicure, but this place charged me $3. On top of that, the elderly woman who did my manicure cut me on 3 different fingers and did a mediocre job on the polish (uneven/sloppy bear the nail bed). Just got my nails done here and I can say I will never be back. They charge to remove gel($3) even though I got a gel mani/pedi. They don't have hardly any colors to choose from, and from the colors they do have, they appear a completely different color on your nails then on the paper. If that's not enough, their gel is so thin that it was see through even with 2 coats already on. A bit concerned it won't last long, but I guess I will have to wait and see. Nails were also painted uneven, left sharp, and they left oil on afterwards. That was a first. One thing I can't complain about is the friendliness of the ladies that helped me. Li was super sweet and tried to help me as much as she could. I wish I could be writing a better review, but I'm being honest about my experience. I told the lady at the front desk for just GEL removal for hands and feet only. I dont think they understood that and they also did a manicure pedicure. The lady that was helping me wasn't careful and gave me a cut on my pinky toe. I also asked for a lash removal and the lady just did it on the chair and applied the lash removal on a cotton pad then plucked them one by one. I told her to stop because it hurt so bad. They were obviously talking about me in thai which made me really uncomfortable. When i was about to leave, the lady in the front desk voluntered to do the lash removal. I soaked my lashes and she plucked them one by one. It did the job but it's not the right way to removal lashes because it causes stinging and pulling of lashes. Pretty decent nail salon. Moved to the area not too long ago so I decided to check this salon out (and my usual lady at my usual place was busy). Only $15 for a Spa Pedicure plus a quick hot stone massage included! Spa chairs are newer and work well! My pedicurist Ling did a pretty good job altogether. And she did scrub down the tub when she was done so that's good to see. All in all pretty good but very busy. Ling said Monday & Tuesday are the best days to go. My sister was happy with her gel pedicure and my mom liked her acrylic french manicure. (Side bar-some of the employees are not as friendly as others but Ling was very nice). read more

ZERO STARS! Is this place serious! I came in to get an acrylic full set and I got a shit show. The nails are crooked, bumpy, shape doesn't match, nail tech chipped the nail polish and didn't fix it, nails are all different lengths and cuticles aren't smooth. And on top of that the nail tech got an attitude when I asked her to take off and redo a nail that was super messed up. I have never been so unhappy with my nails in my life. First off I came in with a picture and had it for her to see but at some point she got frustrated and said "I don't need picture!" And moved my phone! My sister and I looked at each other confused but i brushed it off because I'm extremely patient person. She went on too do my nails and becuase it was colored powder when I saw that there was clouding on the nail I thought it was just excess powder that was going to brush off when she polish them or something however as she kept going I noticed that it kind of hardened and it didn't go away and my sister saw that I was frustrated and asked her why does it look like that why is it cloudy? and she responded it's marble! it's marble! she started to get loud and made my sister look dumb for asking the question and she didn't stop to ask do you like it or is it good because she was already almost done and I just thought that it would polish away and it would look nice. Then by the she started noticing that I was frustrated and she started filing my nails extremely hard and my nails are still sore and it's been two days. And at the beginning I had told her that I had a nail that was sensitive because I had previously injured it and I asked her if she can just be a little gentle but by the end when she was shaving it down she just didn't care and when I left I was bleeit's still purple right now it was extremely horrible she charge me $55 and it looks nothing like what I wanted their customer service is horrible I wish I could've said something but I just I was so frustrated and I didn't want to be caught out of character. I will never go back there! I came to this nail shop because a friend really recommended it however it was a huge disappointment! The lady was extremely rough and I can handle pain! She was so careless and unsanitary. She was going way too fast resulting on multiple cuts to my toe and nails. 3 of my fingers on my right hand were instantly swollen and bleeding. I tried to keep cleaning them constantly but it looks like I'm getting an infection from the cuts. I would not recommend this place to anyone! The waxing lady by the front door is really good at threating & waxing. She is very neat and clean, great prices and friendly. I only come to her! I don't trust the other ladies, they have burnt me and left my eyebrows extremely thin (had to grow them out for a month). I've been going here for years now. Lately, the owner (Van) intentionally resets her visa charge machine to always decline all transactions. She does that, so you'll be forced to get money from her in-store ATM machine which charges you $3 (what a crook!). The $3 goes to her! Then, yr bank also charges you $3, for the transaction. So that's $6 thrown away, right there. Sometimes, they will offer the service you came for, and when it's time to pay, they tell you their Visa machine is faulty; and then, they'll keep pushing for you to get cash from their in-store ATM machine, just so they'll make the extra $3 off you ! They won't tell you the machine is faulty before service. They will do what you came for, and then, when it's time to pay, they begin their stupid trick! All for the love of money. Which business owner will have a faulty visa machine (day in, day out), and not call the visa machine company to come fix it right away , or bring a replacement? Van, God is watching! read more

I've been coming here for over 10yrs because I love Van, and she does an amazing job on my eyebrows. However, she has lost so many of the BEST nail techs over the years. There was Jenny, Jim (my FAVORITE) and of recent I believe Rose and Shelly is gone. You can call and make an appointment, yet they still take someone who walked in before you. Then try to blame you, when they clearly messed up. Today, I had an appointment at 9:30 walked in at 9 only to find the person I had an appointment with starting someone else's nails. So another tech began doing my pedicure only for her to say she has an appointment. She stopped removing my gel mid session to pass me to someone else. This has got to be so annoying and very unprofessional. I'm very respectful and nice even when I'm annoyed here but today took the cake for me. This is THE WORST PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN TO! I went in to get lash extensions and the lady was so rude. She was also very unsanitary. She stuck the individual lashes on her hand and the glue on just a piece of tape. She was not professional at all and wasn't careful when applying them. She poked me in the eye several times and to top it all off, she put WAY TOO MUCH glue. My eyes were so irritated and the lashes wouldn't even bend or comb out. It hurt to even blink, let alone sleep. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I only had the lashes on for 5 days and I couldn't take it anymore. Definitely an amazing experience. Shelly does my facial, and she takes very good care of me. It's inexpensive and it does not compromise the quality of work. Ask for Shelly if you want to do your facial, maybe you'll notice that there are other customers waiting for her, either for manicure or pedicures so I'm guessing she does a good job with those as well. buyer beware of this place. they recently started accepting cash only and put an atm machine that charges you $2 to pull out cash plus an additional $2.50 hidden charge later through your bank. So after paying them $50 for nails I got charged an extra $5 by their Atm machine for a lousy gel manicure. The lady was extremely rough and carless, she left me all kinds of cuts. I've bee coming here for about 1 year now, the location is perfect for me since live a block away and wouldn't say it's great but the service is mediocre. I usually only come for the pedicure. I always ask for Thao she's really good at removing my ingrowns and she's really nice...I usually try to come every 2 weeks but with my schedule it's usually impossible. The last time I was here she actually cut me and it wouldn't stop bleeding I can tell she got really nervous, but She handled the situation appropriately and she apologized. I was happy that she kept putting alcohol to disinfect. I was a little disappointed and was hesitant to return but again accidents do occur and it was the only time that happened. I came back 3 days ago( my feet couldn't take it any more I was too lazy to go else where) she asked how I was doing and this time did not cut me. Prices are decent...I recommend Thao 100% your feet will thank you after a visit with her...and its a plus when she provides a great service with ever visit she never rushes and always asks if your content with the service. read more

Before coming here, I called and asked how much they charged just to remove my acrylic nails and how they remove them. The lady who answered said $6 and with acetone. I thought, "Great! Cheap and not painful." I go and the lady who does eyebrows told me to sit and had this other lady do my service. She was just finishing with a client, and she stands and starts cutting my nails fast and aggressively. She then started taking off one of my nails in the way that I was trying to AVOID. She cut them and it HURT. And then she grabbed a fake nail and stuck it under and ripped it off. I immediately stopped her there and told her that I called and they said they remove them with acetone. She responded, "Why? It hurts you?" Um, YES! And not to mention that's horrible for your nails! She put my nails in a bowl of acetone and just left me. Some other lady saw that I was just left there and took me to her station and took care of the rest. As far as their nail work, I don't know, but given the experience that I had today, I would never go back.
