I had gone to another nail salon and did not have a good experience and walked out with nails I wasn't happy with. I called Magic Nails the next day and they were able to squeeze me in. Tiger, the nail tech, was quick and informative. He completely removed the old nail dip and color and the proceeded to give me a French dip just like the picture I showed him. He also explained to me what a healthy nail manicure should look like. The other salon had hurt my nail bed and skin. I'm new to manicures so I wasn't sure what to experience. Tiger taught me and was compassionate about my experience. I left happy with my nails and feeling confident to self advocate in the future with what I'd learned. And my nails looked just like the picture. Very pleased and would recommend. Also, the atmosphere was very soothing to my nervous system. I can be anxious and the music and vibe was really relaxing. Normally, I go to a different nail salon, but I wanted to try this place, and this was my second time. The first time, I had my nails done by a male nail technician. What I asked for was "extension nails with gel polish," and that's exactly what I got the first time, and it turned out really beautiful. However, my second visit was very disappointing. I asked for the same thing again: "extension nails with gel polish," but what I received instead was acrylic nails. I tried to explain that this was not what I asked for and that I only wanted nail extensions with polish, the same as what the male technician did for me the first time. But the owner responded, "You don't know about nails things," and the woman who did my nails also insisted that she did the same thing as the male technician. But that is not true, because the first time there was no powder used at all. IT IS NOT WORTH FOR $71!! This was a very bad experience, and the nails I got look really bad and the details are not done well also the color and shape. I've had my nails done many times before, and this is the first time I've ever received such ugly nails. I have an important event coming up and I have to go there with us ugly nails. I decided last minute that I wanted to get a pedicure with my boyfriend. We just moved here and have been trying a few places around town and haven't been impressed. That is... until I came here. I called at 5pm and asked if they could fit in two pedicures before closing today (they close at 7pm) and they said to stop on by! Ten minutes later I was at their door. We walked in and everything was beautiful and bright and all of the techs were busy! I had Tiger, who is amazing by the way. I get pretty talkative around new people and he let me talk his ear off! I asked as I walked in if I could add a dip manicure because something about Judy and Tiger seemed so inviting. (I would've totally understood if their schedule was too busy but somehow they squeezed it in) and we had the best time! My boyfriend had Judy and she was super sweet. I talked their ears off and I noticed as other clients walked in that they treat their clientele differently. They get to know them. Plus Judy got out the cheese grater for my boyfriend's feet. I brought my daughter's there for an appointment to get manicures. I got seated first. A few minutes later my youngest was sat. My other daughter had to wait, which was fine at first. I get it. But when I was almost done and they hadn't started her yet I complained that I paid for an experience together and felt we should all be done at close to the same time as we made an appointment. Then a lady came rushed and started my daughter. I was a little irritated but ok at least it's started. I watched her rush through my daughter's manicure that was finished before mine! She skipped steps and my daughter was upset. We had to ask her for the cuticle oil as she hadn't gotten any. I already had a bad pedicure experience with being rushed and steps being skipped. Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. Sat with feet in foot bath for 25 minutes past our reservation time with no one communicating with us on our when our pedicures would begin. My daughter finally asked what was going on with our appointments. Owner pointed to 2 nail techs who were doing manicures with custom tips and said they'd be doing our pedicures. 10 more minutes went by, 35 minutes past appointment time, with no sign of them finishing soon and no one checking on us or communicating with us. We took our shriveled cold feet out of the foot bath and let them know we were leaving. Meanwhile, the owner was making numerous excuses while never acknowledging or apologizing for the complete lack of customer service. Don't recommend this business. read more

Last time I went to get my nails done for a wedding, the dip manicure was not sanded down well and looked very puffy. I had two nails chip which they fixed, but then they chipped again the next week. Everyone was very nice there though and it's cute inside. It's a place to get a shellac pedicure, especially if you have a large group! read more

This is the place to go if you want to be treated rude, rushed to pick your nail color and then charged a fee to use your credit card!

This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to not only was it dirty but the technicians were rude and the experience was painful. I was with a young man and he rushed through the whole appointment he was very inexperienced and got very mad at me multiple times and pretended like he was slipping and hitting me with the nail file. I got a mani pedi Wich was awful. The tech could not file my nail properly he was filing my skin did not shape the nail and used the wrong file. Then he proceeded to do my cuticles and pulled my skin three times before I stopped him. When using the Pumice he did not use it on my callus he used it on my raw skin. I also got a "manicure" that was awful. I had a bit of polish left from the past Wich could have easily been removed with a remover but the tech decided he wanted to use a drill Wich I expressed I did not want. Then I asked him not to do my cuticle because he was so awful the first time. After that he got upset at me and told me that's what a manicure was. He began to polish my fingers (polishing over the old polished he wouldn't remove) and did not moisturize, wash, use a hot towel, cut my nails, or massage. But don't worry cause they remembered to charge me for a full manicure when all I received was a color change. Also they have no idea what they're doing if you want a little nail polish on that is not gel or powder/ tips. They could not do a regular french , they lied about having materials to do it, they thinned out the nail polish right in front of us, they used cuticle remover as callus remover and have no concept of how it worked. I would never recommend going here if you want a normal mani-pedi. And if you ever get put with the younger male technician don't let him do your nails because every girl whose nails he did looked as though they were in pain and rushed through the process. read more

This was my first time at Magic Nails and I upgraded to a deluxe pedicure for $55 and was in ans out of the chair in 25 minutes. Barely had a foot or leg massage and spent very little time cleaning up my nails. Really poor service. Perhaps I had the wrong guy but I wouldn't recommend this salon. read more
