I had a dip manicure with tips. Bebe (spelling?) was so sweet, meticulous, and skilled. I loved my manicure. Would definitely return.

First time bring here. Went in for a manicure & pedicure. I had an appointment for a friend & I, we were both helped on time & services were done together. This is one of the nicer salons I've been to in the area. They seem really clean compared to others. I came on a Tuesday so I'm not sure how it is during rush hours/busy time. The downside is they only take cash or check.

Absolutely awful! I went in to get acrylics for prom and they messed up the tips and had to take them off, and then gave me shellac instead which was extremely thin and bubbled up. I called in to explain what happened and they completely disregarded my concerns. When I went in I demanded a refund and they proceeded to buzz off my nails. I left immediately and I'm currently waiting for a new manicure at Sammy's Nails.

Had a deluxe pedicure. It was wonderful. Anna did a great job. Very relaxing and the leg massage was great. Would recommend this salon.

We walked up and saw you could catch a big ol school bus to shuttle you up to the entrance for free, we hoped on and went in. I was very excited to see de Zwaan the famous Windmill imported from the Netherlands! The only one in the US, I think! It was SO beautiful! I got some great shots of the tulips and the windmill that I thought were just so pretty! Loved going up in the windmill and walking thru the tulip fields. Also don't miss walking thru the shops with authentic goods for sale including a whole cheese wall! With samples! You know some Dutch Gouda had to come home with me!

The windmill is identical to what is in the Netherlands. The only difference between this windmill and the ones in the Netherlands is that each level of this windmill has different types of jobs that were done that relied on windmill power such as clog carving and flour milling. I feel like the people in costume don't really want to chat or start a discussion around the park except for one woman at the very top of the windmill who was giving out stickers and one doing the pipe organ demonstration - everyone else in costume were either chatting with each other or kind of zoned out. Outside of the windmill, there's not much to do - we watched the short informative film and the pipe organ demonstration, but that's it for activities. We were told that the park had horses in the pasture but we walked the entire park and all the paddocks were empty. There is a carousel for kids and there is a gift shop selling the exact same stuff as all of the gift shops in Amsterdam. Even though we were in Holland, Michigan, everything just says "Holland" on it - I even saw the exact clog magnet I purchased in Amsterdam for sale here! Even the paper shopping bags for small items are identical to what is available in the gift shops in Amsterdam. (The cheese is local though.) One that that was pretty cool was looking at this big miniature town that they have on display from the 1930's. If you have never been to Windmill Island Gardens, then you'll have no idea of the significance of the miniature town in Nicole Kidman's basement in the film "Holland" that she starred in. It is set in Holland Michigan and features many shots of this particular windmill. My husband and I watched it after we stumbled upon it after our visit and having been here was kind of cool while watching. Overall, I'd say you can do absolutely everything in 2 hours here, including walking the entire loop around the fields. It was fine but I'd definitely like more of the employees doing talks discussing Dutch culture, crafts, architecture, whatever. Visited: August 2025

The venue is lovely, and the big attraction for us was the freedom we had to bring in our own caterer, design the ceremony in our own style, and make the whole day feel like us! We couldn't believe how so many venues nickel and dime you for every little thing, and force you to use their list of pricy vendors. District 5 Schoolhouse gives you the freedom to do your own thing, which is certainly helpful when working with a budget. But they can definitely provide guidance and advice for first time wedding planners like us too - Sarah helped us figure some things out we hadn't even thought of. Another huge plus is their decor closet - table runners and signs and vases and stuff like that you're allowed to use that can save you hundreds of dollars! All I can say is that this beautiful location is a great value run by kind and thoughtful people who will work with you to have an event that fits your budget and needs. Highly recommended!

The bell tower was a great spot to take pictures, but brace yourself for a climb! We especially appreciated the Pay it Forward decoration closet. There were so many decoration options and themes to choose from! It was a real help for us to have on hand so we could limit how many decorations we purchased/rented. We loved getting married here and would recommend it to anyone!

Is that so much to ask for in a town known for its strong Dutch heritage? I can't think of any other way to describe it but "weird". Queen's Inn is weird. Half of the overhead lights were no longer in operation, the air was so humid that the windows were dripping and the tables were sticky. My sister insisted that the restaurant would feel much better with some Dutch music playing in the background. Moments later a karaoke-like version of Clapton's "You Look Wonderful Tonight" came on. Again, weird. I have to admit that our experience was so rough we found ourselves laughing on several occasions throughout the meal at just how unfortunate it was. Queen's Inn is a buffet-only establishment. Not a problem - our extreme hunger at this point had us willing to eat anything. We were informed the buffet was a mixture of American and Dutch dishes. We soon learned that the Dutch dishes were more like Taco Bell's take on Mexican. Very little cultural education taking place at these feed troughs. To top it off, the food had been sitting for quite some time. Our visit to Queen's Inn was officially rock bottom when the buffet turned into a steaming waterfall with water pouring out from under the food and down the counters onto the floor just as I was piling on my iceburg lettuce at the salad bar. I was informed I would need to get back to avoid the hot water. That was it, I gave up. You'll never find me fighting to eat an iceburg lettuce salad.

So, when my friends and I were in Saugatuck for a bachelorette party and decided to stop by New Holland Brewery, I was stoked and we were not disappointed. The vibes, service, and food were all great, and the menu has plenty of options to choose from. Even without a reservation, we were able to get a table upstairs that comfortably fit our large group, which was impressive given how busy the place was. Our waitress did an amazing job keeping up with such a big party and made sure everyone was taken care of. The menu offers a nice variety, including starters, pizzas, salads, soups, and sandwiches, all at very reasonable prices. Most entrees fall in the $15 to $20 range. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted because so many items sounded good, but I ultimately ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich for $15 with a side of cream of potato soup. Both were excellent. The chicken was huge, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The soup was creamy with a great balance of potatoes. Overall, I genuinely loved my meal and would absolutely return the next time I am in town. I also did not hear a single complaint from anyone in our group, which says a lot when dining with a large party.
