How does Le Salon only have two reviews since it's been in Atlanta for over two decades? Not sure,…read morebut here's the third: ***** I. LOCATION & PARKING Le Salon resides in Asian Square and in the strip mall to the right of Bambu (the Vietnamese dessert place). And since it's in Asian Square, there's plenty of parking. II. SERVICES I just asked for a men's haircut, and the nice lady with the purple hair offered to do me up. She asked what I wanted, and I told her. And although I didn't exactly get what I wanted on her first try, I made sure to over communicate and she happily obliged. It took her less than 20 minutes, too! In comparison to other salons, though, I didn't get my hair washed, and it wasn't offered to me, either. That's usually my favorite part getting serviced at a Vietnamese hair salon. Not sure if they offer it there. Aside from Yelp, you can also get the 411 on where to eat Vietnamese food. lol. (The #4 at Bambu is supposedly the best!) III. AMBIENCE & DÉCOR I learned Le Salon recently had a renovation, and it definitely shows. The floors are pristine, the walls look like they've been freshly painted, and everything feels... crisp. They even have fancy lighting. Who doesn't love fancy lighting? There are no TVs playing Paris By Night, unfortunately. But that's purely nostalgia. Haha. IV. PRICES I'm not sure how much other services cost (I didn't see prices displayed anywhere), but it set me back $15 and paid with debit card. What's weird, though, is that I was asked if I wanted to provide a tip. I couldn't do it discretely and felt a little uncomfortable being on the spot. (Still tipped, of course!) V. OVERALL I would definitely consider returning to Le Salon. My hair looks how I want it to, and it was at a great price. However, I'm still holding out on finding my "go-to" salon or barbershop.

No to mention she cut off my front hair and gave me layers and long bangs. Something I DID NOT ask for. Never in my 31 years have I had such a terrible haircut that I walked out of the salon crying. The owner, Angela did not charge me since I was so upset but this hair cut was $48. Please do not charge your customers this much if the cut was atrocious. I was sorely disappointed, but to be clear it was neither Jimmy nor Angela that cut my hair. I didn't get my hairdressers name but she was Indonesian and had blonde hair. This is literally THE WORST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE. Save your money and go elsewhere or be specific with who cuts your hair. Lesson learned and I will never be back.

I heard from many locals that this is the place to get your hair cut done and done right. As an Asian Male, there is truly something unique about our hair. As long as you are flexible with anyone to cut your hair, then you can be seen ASAP. I always call beforehand and I always get to be seen same day within the next 2 hours. I only had two people cut my hair here, Michelle and Ken???? Ken is a new guy with dyed hair and speaks limited English. Michelle has been doing this for a while. I loved their old location but this new location definitely helps their salon shine. Lots of natural lighting and room for them to really allow an open space concept with seating throughout for others to see the magic happens. For the price of $28 before tip for a male's haircut, I think it is a fair price to ask in this economy and prime location. Hairwashing and shampoo is included for before and after the cut. Also if you want them to style your hair and prepare it for the day then that is also included with gel/wax/hair spray (your choice). Use cash if you can to avoid the 3% credit charge fee. Highly recommend this place. They will treat you well! Thank you Sen Salon for being you. Support this local one of a kind Asian business.

Located by a smoke shop and Jimmy Johns on Peachtree industrial, the shopping center is small but clean. I entered and there were two hair dressers along with two customers getting services done. I was greeted, which is always great! I sat down and waited maybe about 12-15 at most. I definitely didn't mind, since I didn't make an appointment. The salon is clean and although not fancy, everything I needed was insight. They have a tv in the waiting area, along with magazines and free water. Finally it was my turn. The lady spoke with very broken English, but she understood what service I requested and let me know that for me a blow out would be $30. My hair is medium length and pretty thick, so I didn't really argue but it kinda made me less excited. But anyways she proceeded to wash my hair. The shampoos are Korean, and they smell amazing. Next I sat at her chair and she started to ask me questions about my blow out, if I wanted waves or curls it would be extra. I just wanted a basic blow out. The blow dryer she used was very old and made a weird sound, but it did get the job done. It took about an hour and I did only get charged $30 like she stated. Just a tip, bring a photo for comparison, I'm sure that will help with the language barrier! All in all, four stars is my rating. I would be glad to come back! $30 isn't bad, salons charge anywhere from 45-70$ for blow outs; that being said it was still very cheap and looked amazing! The service was polite and had amazing results. If you want a blow out for an amazing price, give them a try!
