Extremely upset about a fix that I did here. After 7 years of owning different iPhones, my 6 took a spill on May 22 in the few minutes I had it outside of my case. Screen totally shattered. Took it here based on good reviews and cost a bit less than Apple Store. Movian was nice and helpful. The repair looked good at the beginning, then the screen started loosening from the right side, with laxity between screen and phone. Then, it seemed to shift a bit in positions such that you could no longer talk on it (except in speakerphone mode) without a huge echo. Took it back within the 3 month warranty, was told by the guy currently there that it needs to be fixed by the same person that installed it, that there was "no way that the system would let him fix it." Inconvenient and unprofessional, but at least he gave me a list of days and times Movian would be back. I came back one of those days, and it turned out that Movian no longer worked there anymore. But Omar (new employee) saw the problem and went to work to fix it, recommended me a better case. It was properly aligned, looked and sounded good again; but about a week later, the right side developed that laxity again. I didn't think too much about it at the time, but made a note to bring it back (still within three months). In the time being, I got a new better case from Amazon. Snapped it into place (which was not an abnormal motion at all), and that small force sent a new long crack through it. I did not drop it, but yet still, it was now cracked and with screen laxity. Brought it back, and Omar just stated that the fact that the screen was cracked at all voids the entire warranty, regardless of the fact he could see the right sided laxity which was the same result of the first shoddy fix. He refused to do anything more for me, and it looks like I'll be out a second $100 or so at another place, even though I'm within the 90 days still and the issues both times were related to the quality of the fix. Don't be fooled by the size of this little kiosk, their service is quick and smooth. Even though the kiosk looks like its exclusive to i-Devices, the guy I worked with was helpful with the problem I had. I had recently dropped my Nexus 7 Tablet and the back part of the case popped off and caused the volume/power button to slide into the unit. The guy that helped me popped the case right off and allowed me to retrieve the buttons and put them back into place, He definitely felt like a trustworthy guy that wouldn't give you the run-around, and was done in less than 5 minutes. It was a simple problem, but when other places could have easily charged me, he didn't charge me a cent! I definitely recommend him for a hassle-free experience on repair and would come back here if I had problems with any of my other mobile devices, even if it isn't an apple device. read more

We had just logged into the hours-long waiting cue at the Apple Store to get my son's iPhone repaired. They had told us upfront that in the best case scenario they'd replace the battery for $80. As we were strolling off in the mall we walked by this place and asked if they could fix it. He took a look, removed and replaced the battery, tested it out, and the phone still wouldn't charge. So he tried a new charging port and that did the trick. The cost? $45! And phone was back in our hands and working long before our position in the waiting cue at the Apple Store came up. I broke my I6 screen yesterday and it completely turns dark, I couldn't use my phone all night and I went to the Apple store in Sherman Oaks Westfield mall in the morning and they gave me an appointment for 3 hours later, literally 3 hours. I waited 3 hours and they told me my phone is bended and they can't fix it, they offer me to pay 300 dollars for a refurbished phone and I will lose all my photos, it was ridiculous.Then I stop by at the kiosk and ask to Omer if can he fix my phone, and he fixed my phone in 15 minutes. Can you believe that , Apple store let me wait 3 hours and they didn't do any shit but Omer fix my phone just in 15 minutes while I am watching it. He saved my life. Definitely 5 stars. Broke the glass on my iPhone 6 Plus. They repaired it within 25 to 30 minutes. Had an issue a couple weeks later where the glass popped up and the sensor was being too sensitive and muting my call with my cheek. Took the phone back and fix it a second time free of charge. My phone is worse than before. I just needed my iphone glass to be changed. They changed it and I realized my proximity sensor wasn't working, and also the phone just acts crazy. It dials numbers and jumps to apps on its own. I brought it back and they said they fixed it, but a few days later the same thing started happening again, so I brought it back and they won't fix it, or refund my money. I came back today with my RECEIPT (which I SHOWED to him with card stapled to it with name of man who helped me underlined so he knew who I spoke to over the phone) after just a couple weeks of having my screen fixed.. The guy who fixed it I'm assuming is Omer because he underlined his name and number, I spoke to him before coming. I had told him that I cracked the side of my phone when I was trying to get it into the cover, which was fine because my cover hid the crack but it slowly started spreading and got weird bubble areas which I was fine with also but then out of no where I started getting colored lines across my screen. He said to bring it back right away because my screen was failing or something so I figured great he'll take care of it. I came today and it was another guy and was asking me for $140!!! What?! I didn't even pay that much when I first fixed it and I've cracked my screen many many times and never have I ever had bubbles or colorful lines across the screen. I wouldn't have even minded paying something reasonable to have it fixed again, but that was ridiculous. Needless to say I would never trust them with my phone or iPad or anything for that matter. And while I'm on an update I went down the street to another place I found on Yelp which only charged $60 and it's been months with my phone working wonderfully! So really, don't waste your money here!! read more
