We had just logged into the hours-long waiting cue at the Apple Store to get my son's iPhone repaired. They had told us upfront that in the best case scenario they'd replace the battery for $80. As we were strolling off in the mall we walked by this place and asked if they could fix it. He took a look, removed and replaced the battery, tested it out, and the phone still wouldn't charge. So he tried a new charging port and that did the trick. The cost? $45! And phone was back in our hands and working long before our position in the waiting cue at the Apple Store came up. Don't be fooled by the size of this little kiosk, their service is quick and smooth. Even though the kiosk looks like its exclusive to i-Devices, the guy I worked with was helpful with the problem I had. I had recently dropped my Nexus 7 Tablet and the back part of the case popped off and caused the volume/power button to slide into the unit. The guy that helped me popped the case right off and allowed me to retrieve the buttons and put them back into place, He definitely felt like a trustworthy guy that wouldn't give you the run-around, and was done in less than 5 minutes. It was a simple problem, but when other places could have easily charged me, he didn't charge me a cent! I broke my I6 screen yesterday and it completely turns dark, I couldn't use my phone all night and I went to the Apple store in Sherman Oaks Westfield mall in the morning and they gave me an appointment for 3 hours later, literally 3 hours. I waited 3 hours and they told me my phone is bended and they can't fix it, they offer me to pay 300 dollars for a refurbished phone and I will lose all my photos, it was ridiculous.Then I stop by at the kiosk and ask to Omer if can he fix my phone, and he fixed my phone in 15 minutes. My phone is worse than before. I just needed my iphone glass to be changed. They changed it and I realized my proximity sensor wasn't working, and also the phone just acts crazy. It dials numbers and jumps to apps on its own. I brought it back and they said they fixed it, but a few days later the same thing started happening again, so I brought it back and they won't fix it, or refund my money. I came back today with my RECEIPT (which I SHOWED to him with card stapled to it with name of man who helped me underlined so he knew who I spoke to over the phone) after just a couple weeks of having my screen fixed.. The guy who fixed it I'm assuming is Omer because he underlined his name and number, I spoke to him before coming. I had told him that I cracked the side of my phone when I was trying to get it into the cover, which was fine because my cover hid the crack but it slowly started spreading and got weird bubble areas which I was fine with also but then out of no where I started getting colored lines across my screen. He said to bring it back right away because my screen was failing or something so I figured great he'll take care of it. I came today and it was another guy and was asking me for $140!!! What?! I didn't even pay that much when I first fixed it and I've cracked my screen many many times and never have I ever had bubbles or colorful lines across the screen. I wouldn't have even minded paying something reasonable to have it fixed again, but that was ridiculous. Needless to say I would never trust them with my phone or iPad or anything for that matter. And while I'm on an update I went down the street to another place I found on Yelp which only charged $60 and it's been months with my phone working wonderfully! So really, don't waste your money here!! read more
