After many years of faithful service, my iPhone6S finally stopped displaying anything. It still made sounds, and even rang when called from another phone. So, like any faithful Apple guy would, I took it to "that" store in the corner of the Sherman Oaks Westfield mall. They kept it overnight, only to tell me that it was un-fixable, and perhaps I should consider buying a new iPhone12. I didn't have $1,000 burning a hole in my pocket, so walked over to the Magic Fix kiosk. Vusal was confident (and professional and friendly too) that he could replace the display and that it would work again. I asked him to also replace the battery which was not holding a charge for very long anymore. Thirty minutes, and about $200 later, he presented it to me in good working order. My screen for my iPhone 8 plus had a crack in it on July 30 of this year --they put a brand new screen on unfortunately lasted less then two months- it's cracked I just called them up to see if they replace it no charge as I think they said there was at least a few months warranty -stay tuned as a paid close to $80 certainly not to have only a good screen for less than two months I sure hope they replace it at no charge as less than 60 days is crazy for a screen to crack My old screen lasted over 4 years -- this must be highly defective to crack in less then two months read more

Worst items I have ever purchased. YELP might want to figure out how this place receives so many ONE STAR RATINGS, I believe if you just scroll down you will see a Zone Star Review posted, quickly followed with some FIVE STAR REVIEWS. Three days later battery would not charge. And if the battery stops working before one month bring it back." I believed her. I should have known. So of course the crack really grew within the first week. Out a hundred dollars. TOOK IT BACK for a refund, I mean , 3 days? Now there's a guy there. He argues with me , gets the women on the phone for her to confirm to me, that I am wrong, and they would not give refund. Oh, and she said she would never tell a customer those thing. This dog and pony show went on for about 20 minutes , of them telling me it was my fault I didn't read the receipt properly. It said no refunds only exchange. They said "You're the one that paid that much for it! You knew you couldn't bring it back" And then he laughed. He thought that was funny that he got my $65.00, and my $35.00. Corrupt . Not to mention illogical. Huh? Loud and rude also. I took video. Did not have another part to replace told me to wait around while they try to find a replacement part. Had to take phone to store next door cell tech, they were able to fix with a non defect part. This is only my second yelp review, I never do these but I had a great experience with Magic fix that I needed to share with everyone. I was ready to spend 1,500 for the new iPhone X's max, the camera on my current iPhone6's plus was very jittery and I thought it couldn't be fixed. Boy Was I wrong, I went up to the counter and was greeted by Omar, I told him my problem and he immediately knew what was wrong and quickly went to work on it. I was there for no more than 10 minutes. Omar fixed it! My camera has been working properly for the past week and I couldn't be happier. Omar saved me $1,500. Magic fix will be my go to store from now on with all my iPhone needs. Dude just tried to buy my iPhone X - Brand New, Unlocked. For $120 lmao!! And said he would fix my other phone screen for free. They used Chinese aftermarket screens that could be bought for $8 online through amazon, alibaba, and a ton of others. Also, iPhone X screens are a bit more expensive because they are Samsung OLED screen that I can purchase for under $150. So technically he's giving me $279 value with half of it as cash, for my $1K + iPhone X. Fk outta here dude! Go try to rob someone else. Any other screens, are Chinese aftermarket and they do not come with warranty from MagicFix. They could mess up the hardware like the buttons and firmware/functionality on your phones. Paid for overnight shipping for my new screen but the part didn't come in until 4 days later. They still charged me for the overnight shipping that didn't happen and all three of the employees I spoke with over the 4 days of waiting for my screen to be fixed would get exasperated when I asked on the status of my phone. I've never been spoken to like a 'dumb woman' more in my life. Let me start out saying that they have two locations: one in Sherman Oaks under Magix Fix and another one in Westfield Topanga mall Mr. Repair. This already says something as it seems they open new business with different names due to their bad business ethics. No words can describe the horrible service you get from this business. We were in the mall and asked what would it take replace iPhoneX screen. Thought since we are here let's get it done. Big mistake. After 4 days the display stopped working. Receipt did not have the business phone number and Mr. repair business did come up when I googled. It turns out I had called another cell phone repair shop in Westfield mall. Anyway, once I got to the kiosk, explained that screen was replaced 4 days ago and now it is not working. The answer was: I don't have a iPhone X screen today, come back tomorrow. Are you kidding me. Cell phone repair shop does not have an iPhone X screen. I said it is a 30 minute drive one way for me to come back. Don't you have any iPhone X screen. The answer was no which I knew was a lie. He said call this number. I called and the guy (owner) said just go to Sherman Oaks location it should be 15-20 minutes drive. I looked up and it was 38 minutes drive since it was heavy traffic at that time. I said if you think it is easy to drive there, why don't you have someone bring a screen. He said let me look into it. Called me back and said sure. I said how long it will take. He said 3 hours. Are you kidding me? You are asking the client to wait in the mall for 3 hours so you can get a screen there. Then he said I do have an OEM screen but you have to pay the difference. Now I am really pissed as they both lied. He wants additional $50. I said I want my money back as this is ridiculous. Instead of apologizing and replacing the screen without asking for any more money, he was being really rude and stupid. He agreed to give my money back with a condition to put the old screen back. I said ok, do it. Walked back to the mall and of course they don't have the old screen which only had a very minor crack at the corner. He ended up putting another bad screen and gave my money back. Walked to another shop who replaced without any issues. In summary, horrible service with greedy business owner without any consideration for customer satisfaction. I when back representative, advise the shop that speaker on my phone for some reason started getting overheated ,Also the color on display on my phone are not bright as it should be.. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. This place is a clearly run by scam artists who don't care about their clients. The customer service is a joke, it does not even exist . I came with a broken screen to fix my phone, he put a bootleg screen on my phone, broke the malware on my phone now I have to go buy a brand new phone. He charged me $136.25 and wouldn't give me a refund. Don't ever go to this place!! Apple has pretty much the same prices and at least it's not a fraudulent business. He also told me if I would pay cash it would be cheaper, so they don't report it and pay taxes on it. Thank god I used my card and did a chargeback.
