There was only me and another woman there so I expected quick service. The person who did my hair did an excellent job of washing my hair. I just took out my twists and she gave me the best scrubbing ever. She even used a comb to really clean my scalp. After roller setting my hair, she blow dried it, then trimmed my ends. I'm always scared of getting my ends trimmed by Dominicans but she actually did a good job. I am extremely satisfied with the service at this salon. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the credit card machine wasn't working. But I will definetly be back with cash next time.

Finally, seeing a neighbor who always has a very chic bob, which suits her face perfectly, I asked her where she goes - and she told me: Roman's. What a find! I don't want to be sold products. I just want to be able to make a phone call, walk in, get my hair cut, walk out knowing I look great, and also - the best part is the cost is so crazy reasonable. Sadly, she then passed me over to her coworker. My instructions were clear- in both English and Spanish. Do not touch the length, a little bit of an undercut above the ears from the temple to the ear, trim the layers and clean up the neck near the occipital bone. I showed her 3 photos from the front, side and back. It was New Year's eve and I went home in tears. I literally stopped her and got out of the chair before she was finished. I wanted a bob and I got a fade. She went at the back of my head with an electric razor and a number 2 blade. She never once used a scissor and ignored everything I said. For $35 I got a choppy, uneven mess that is impossible to style and I woke up looking like a Q-tip had an affair with a mushroom. Went back to my regular stylist and she "fixed it" as best she could, reasuring me that my hair would grow back by Spring. Stay away or get a hat.

Unfortunately on our recent visit, our stylist burned my daughter's forehead pretty badly. My daughter nearly jumped out the chair as the flat iron rested on her head. She smiled & said if my daughter would have told her how much it hurt she would have applied Hydrocortisone cream right away. But now it was too late. She didn't even offer any refund for the damage. Even though we had to spend more than the price of the hair on shea butter & scar cream.

His haircut was not even either. my daughter has virgin hair - no color - we did proaddiction 2x before at a different salon and we're always pleased. I was shocked by his results as I never saw in my life such unprofessional work. I showed him pictures of her hair one week later and he replied he did the best that he can and that I should go somewhere else if I am not happy. I asked him to fix it and redo it and he refused - mocked me and laughed and said no. He is extremely dismissive and argumentative. He crossed the line and was really unprofessional. He recently moved from a different salon to this salon because he was argumentative there too and the owner kicked him out.
