DON'T DO IT!! Their status with the BBB has been REVOKED!! am so upset and hurt about this whole situation. My car was tolled to Magic Ben on February 15, 2023 because I thought my battery went out, however, it wasn't the battery, it was an electrical issues from what they said due to water. When I picked my car up after several weeks of them having it, I noticed the back driver's side rim was very rusty as if it's been sitting for years since someone washed it. I brought it to the receptionist attention and she said oh it's rust because the brake pads are out, I said that isn't true, y'all changed my brakes in January 2023. Of course no response. It was the only wheel that looked rusty. I went back and the owner was very rude about it. He was able to show me pics of my car from January but refused to show me the pics from February 15, 2023 stating that the camera deletes pictures every week, however the pics he showed me was from his phone. I guarantee you that they looked at photos from January and swapped my rim with this old looking rim not realizing that they changed my brakes in January and since than I had my car detailed/cleaned after I got the new brakes. All of my rims where very clean when they worked on my car when it had electrical issue. I'm very disappointed in how this situation turnedr out and how the owner and workers didn't had a care in their face. I have a very expensive Mercedes and to be driving around with a one rim looking rusty/gold looking as if it has been sitting for years in the rain is heartbreaking. Don't just give them a bad review here, report them on Yelp, Google, every social media platforms, BBB and your local State council. Take your car to your local dealership and asked that they do an inspection on your car to make sure the parts number are what it should be because they are swiping your parts and putting in older parts. You work so hard for what you have, only for someone to take it right under your nose. The first picture is the rim they put on in the back driver's and the clean rim is from the back passenger side. And they tried to convince me that it is normal for one rim to get rusty even though both back brakes are bad. Bull!!! This type of business do not deserve to be in our community and I pray after reporting this to the State Council that they will not only investigate the establishment but refund me for a new rim or give me what I had on my car when my car got there. read more

I highly DO NOT recommend Magic Benz. I took my 2000 CLK 320 to them because there are no Mercedes Benz dealerships in Prince George's County, Maryland, and I was recommended by AAA Service Center to take my car to a Mercedes dealership. Thinking that they would be just as good as a dealership, they turned out to be crooks. I had my car towed to them because the car wouldn't start. I had asked them to do a diagnostic test to find out what is wrong with the car, and they said that it would be $140 for the test. I had my car there for five days without hearing from them, so I decided to call them. When I called, they said that they are working on it. I reiterated to them that I just wanted to know what was wrong with it first before any work was done on it because of the age of the car. They said that they would call me back. On the six day, I called back to ask what was wrong with the car. They said that it was fixed, and I can come pick it up, and the cost is $300. Of course, I was very upset because I just wanted to know what was wrong with it first. That day, I paid them the money and picked up the car. The very next day, the car wouldn't start again. I called them up to ask what exactly was done to the car and the mechanic said that he had charged the battery, and he didn't find anything wrong with the car. I then asked if I could get a copy of the diagnostic test because I knew that something would have shown on the test since I do know that other things were wrong with the car which should have shown up on the test. He told me that he did not do a diagnostic test because he didn't see anything wrong with the car. Now, unless he is Superman and can see through steel, that made no sense to me at all! He then told me that I should tow it back to them to see what's wrong with the car. I asked would I have to pay again, he said that I would have to pay again since they already serviced the car. I then called up AAA to come and instead of a tow, do a diagnostic and what was found was that I needed a new battery. All Magic Benz did was charge the old battery for $300, and they wanted more money if I brought the car back to them for the exact same problem. I could have gotten a jump for free, but they feel that charging a dying battery is worth $300. I ended up buying a battery from Advance Auto Parts for $200 and installing it myself. They are crooks. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MAGIC BENZ!! They are dishonest crooks! Believe all the bad reviews. There is a reason why the Better Business Bureau had revoked their status. To make matters worse, the front skirt was damaged on my car and when asked about it, they said it was the tow truck driver fault. I now have over $1000 damage to the car. I will be pressing charges and if you have dealt with them and got ripped off by them, SUE their butts off! Get them out of Business!! read more

I have used Magic Benz for car repairs in the past, with little to no problem with the quality of service. However, I recently bought my car in for collision repair. My car was held over the estimated time for repair by the autobody shop, with the expectation that supplemental information would be sent to my insurance company to justify additional days for a rental car. Unfortunately, supplemental information was never sent in to my insurance company and I incurred costs for the additional days that I held onto my rental car. I was reassured by Magic Benz, by phone multiple times, that the supplemental information would be sent in. When I went in person, it was as if a previous conversation never occurred, that my concerns had no merit, then eventually I was told that additional information would be sent in. Again, I have not received a refund for the cost incurred to cover the additional days of the rental car, therefore this auto body shop has yet to fulfill their promise to send in the paperwork. The quality of service with regards to the repair I have no problem with, but customer service is important and keeps repeat customers coming back. I for one will not be utilizing this auto body shop again. read more

I brought my 2013 W212 Mercedes-Benz E350 in for a check engine light. I've had the light scanned several times. FOR FREE at advance auto parts, not only that but I brought them the codes when I brought my car in. When my car got to them, it was late in the day so I have to wait until the next day to get any pertinent information. The next day I called in to inquire about my car, I gave the woman Angela my email and waited for a response....they want $3000.... okay it's a Mercedes and You've got to pay to play, that's fine W/e. Well what is it that they wanna do? They're quoting changing my fuel pump on both sides. That's absurd. The fuel pump is actually easy to replace, no the parts were ~$900. That means $2,100 in labor... If the job took 8hrs, that's $250 an hour plus! That's more than the Mercedes dealer no? They must not know, I work on my car, take care, and cherish my car, I've knowledge about my car that would exceed that of a Layman. I've had my Mercedes fall on me with me under it as I was changing the differential fluid, luckily thanks to adrenaline I just leg pressed it off of me ( I have a witness). I say that to say, I know about my car. I asked "what they did to determine that my whole fuel filter needs replacement?" We scanned the engine.... then we didn't touch it. That's how you know I need a whole new fuel filter? You want $3,000 for something I told you?!?, no they want $175 for what I came in knowing already! They didn't even do any further diagnostics !! I asked if they looked at my sparkplugs? Nope! I came in for a misfire code!! They didn't even pull the plugs??? That's Misfire investigation step #1, nope the fuel pump is crapped out. Don't worry about the injectors either, all we did was scan we know its the fuel pump. They just determined my entire fuel pump is bad. This is how you get horror stories about Mercedes ownership, throwing parts at the car without proper diagnoses. They may be perfectly capable of maintaining a Mercedes, oil, brakes, etc, but in terms of needing an emergency repair?? They see dollar signs and all mechanical know-how is out the window. Also the SERVICE staff is GHETTO, they have no customer service, idc if you're not customer facing they didn't have any decorum befitting the Cachet of Mercedes-Benz. I know because I parked in the wrong area, see, you're actually supposed to park in front of where it says no parking. Finally, this is how I know beyond a reasonable doubt that they're in it for a quick buck: I asked have we checked the fuel filter? Maybe it just needs to be replaced? Angela told me that you don't replace only the Fuel Filter on a 2013 E350 W212 Mercedes-Benz... Lady the fuel filter is listed in the manual, the fuel filter only, but you're telling me that you have to replace the fuel pump, but the Owner's Manual clearly lists is as a wearable a component, separate from the whole fuel pump itself. Mercedes is casuistic and hairsplitting in their words, if you had to replace the whole Fuel Pump when you serviced the fuel filter, the Owner's Manual would clearly state fuel pump due for replacement. Beware if you need an emergency repair, they'll try to use your stress, anxiety, and presumed naivety to make a quick buck. These people want SURGEON MONEY, without bringing the expertise, decorum, and willingness to Pic related: Estimate for a job that when you look in the WIS repair manual should not exceed 4 hrs at all. The fuel pump is under the back seat, I'm not saying it's easy, but it's not a timing job either. I was ready and willing to pay for work well done. But to charge that much without having don in depth diagnosis shows time they don't have respect for the customers wallet. $175 for diagnostics, but I already know what the engine codes were, and the front desk lady Angela scanned it, she told me she's not a technician... so how in the hell you conclude I need a $500 part if all you did was scan and the person that scanned answers the phone and makes appointments.....? change your oil and brakes here only people, they don't have the intellectual tenacity it takes to deal with these cars, they're only looking for a quick buck read more

I took my car in for front brake pads. The pricing was right on par and slightly cheaper than the other shops I called in the area but they were not Mercedes specialist. I had to have an appointment to bring my car in which was just for the next day. They gave me a ride home. It took about 4 hours to get it back. I needed a light replaced but it wasnt fixable because there is another issue that I had before. Anyway when I got the car I couldn't find it in the parking lot. Thats because it was clean. I am the type of woman who HATES to clean my car. Now I dont have anything in it. No trash, clothes,nothing....but I hate to wash and vacuum the interior and wipe it down. I didn't recognize it from the outside and sure didnt recognize it on the inside. They gave it a thorough wash and cleaned and vacuumed the interior. The console was wiped down, the mirrors (inside and out), the seats were cleaned. Whew I thought I was in someone elses car! I also checked in on yelp and received at 10% off coupon. I really liked this service. They didnt give me a list of things that "should" be done. They just fixed what I asked, did a good job, and sent me on my way. Great service! read more

Fantastic service, friendly staff, performed my scheduled Service B in under 3 hours (the timeframe they told me), and offer free drinks/food while you wait. $300 for a complete Service B is incredible, over half as cheap as MB Dealers charge for the same service. They did mention I have to get a rear Hub Bearing Assembly replaced on my car though. Car has 19K miles on it and a simple Google search says 99% of car's hub bearing Assembly's last the life of their car. Ill get it looked at by my long known repairman to see if that actually needs replaced so if it does, they saved me serious car troubles if it is actually in need of replacement. I took my car to MAGIC to get the horn and the windshield wiper repaired. They repaired the horn, but not the windshield wiper. When I picked up my car and after checking, I told them the wiper was still not repaired, they rechecked it and told me that it would cost an additional $500 + in additional to the $840.00 total that they said it would cost to fix them both in the beginning. They also left a screw in my seat which leads me to believe that it was left out when they took my car apart. I have no faith in this company. I paid $405.00 to get my windshield wiper fixed and it is still not fixed. I asked for a refund and they would not give it to me. MAGIC mis diagnosed the cost to repair my car and I should not have to loose $405.00 for a repair that did not fix my windshield wipers. I will never go back to Magic again read more

I never even made it to the location because the initial phone call was the worst and made me apprehensive. The woman who answered the phone was the initial reason for apprehension. She was speaking to some one in the back ground in the middle of our conversation,when I heard her saying (saying that's a grape soda.) The red flag was after telling her what I need and giving her my VIN # she responded by saying (ok I'm going to call you back.) I have to assume they have caller ID because she never asked for my number or name. I then went to the reviews and they were the worst. I have never seen a owner respond to reviews. Bought a used GLK350 and got it inspected prior to purchasing the vehicle by the dealer. 2 weeks later, started to experience some screeching so I took it to Magic Benz to get a second look. After taking a look over my car, they came back with roughly $4100 worth of repairs, that include leaks. I was livid! How could the dealership have missed/fail to disclose any of this to me? I contacted my sales manager who suggested that Magic Benz could have been trying to finesse me out of money and dismissed all of their findings. I had a lot of faith in them considering I was referred by a coworker, in addition to their online reputation so I called BS on the dealer and escalated my situation to the General Manager and also the service technicians because I still believed Magic Benz findings to be true. The GM of the dealer agreed to meet me at MB with one of his shop foreman's so we can get to the bottom of the discrepancies. Once we arrived to MB (me, the dealership GM and his shop foreman) MB practically backtracked everything listed on the paper! They didn't even want to raise the vehicle in the air to look over these "leaks". I was so close to returning the vehicle, all for them to be exaggerating the condition of the vehicle! I was highly disappointed because I am not a car person whatsoever and I truly wanted MB to be my home for all my car needs, I even considered purchasing my extended warranty through them but not any more! It's imperative to have honest people looking over your things. The repairs were completed within the timeframe specified and the cost reasonable. Customer service representatives are always friendly and thorough. Plan to visit when other repairs are needed. This was the worst car experience I've ever had. After 4 days the mechanic still had not returned my telephone calls. I was frequently told that he was not there, but would call me back. Never happened. On day 5, the mechanic relayed to me through the secretary that my car engine had to be broken down at a cost of $105.00 per hour and they would need my car for at least 9 hours. On Monday, October 5th we dropped our Lexus GS 400 off to receive an estimate and ultimately have service performed. We left a detailed list and 2 contact phone numbers. Over the past week and one-half we have called at least 3 times with no contact or return calls from Mr.Yared or anyone from Magic Benz. Today, Friday, October 23rd we went to the location and picked up our car. NOTHING WAS DONE!!! We didn't even receive an estimate of the work or associated cost. If this company does not want to work on vehicles other than Mercedes, they should not accept other peoples vehicles and hold customers up from the service they need to have performed. They were recommended by friends who have a Mercedes and were very happy with their work. When we returned to pick up our vehicle Mr. Yared was completely unconcerned about having done nothing after keeping it for almost 2 weeks.
