Chips & Queso
Stephen S.

Reviews weren't great so we gave it Mag's an honesty try. It might be an ok local bar but as a restaurant, I would not recommend. Service: our server was nice and seemed to be trying but execution was terrible. We ordered a quesadilla for our toddler when we ordered drinks. That was forgotten and never made it. When we ordered a pizza they asked if we wanted ranch, we said yes. When the pizza came out, they forgot the ranch...and the plates, until they came back out to refill our drinks and saw us not eating. Food & drinks: The pizza wasn't bad. Not amazing but no complaints. The queso was decent but the chips were terrible. I would've rather brought some chips from home so I could enjoyed the queso. Quesadilla? No idea because we never got it. Drinks had good prices. The beer was a good size and cold. The margarita was terrible. Instead of using lime juice, they use sweet and sour. Can't think of a worse way to ruin a marg.

Dat Bill, Thanks Cindi!

As there are already a plethora of reviews about this spot, I'll save the introduction to this place. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I have been meaning to thank this establishment for the service I received on 8/5/2022 from Cindi. The time of day that I came in, there weren't many patrons, and as such, Thing One and I were seated right away. We ordered two 10' pizzas, which were fresh and filling. Veggie Pizza- I love Americanized pizza, but who doesn't ? How many other dishes can you eat for any meal of the day?! You can top pizza with just about any ingredient you're craving and enjoy it year-round. Easily customizable, pizza can be made vegan, vegetarian, or piled with meaty options. This pizza was loaded with fresh veggies to include red onion, bell peppers, tomatoes, green and black olives, and mushrooms. The veggies on this pizza seemed to be thrown on haphazardly, and I've never had a veggie pizza like this (with both black and green olives), but it somehow worked. The kick from the red onion on the pizza balanced out the saltiness of the black olives. Mexican Martini- Ironically, the origin story of the Mexican Martini begins at an Irish bar called The Cedar Door, located in downtown ATX. So, this one should be just as good as the one served at The Cedar Door, right? Not really. Generally, a Mexican Martini should be frothy, icy, and well-balanced, which this was not. The plastic shaker served with my drink should have been an indicator that this would be a less than stellar drink. The drink itself tasted as if the mix was pre-made. The drink disappointment aside, the service provided by Cindi was prompt and friendly. This may be your place to go if you are in the mood for some bar food with popular music and TVs galore. #supportlocal

Wings are delicious, beer is great, service is outstanding. Nice place to stop to wind down after work. Nice inside with a lot of tv's. If you like sports they will have them one. One of my faves

Fabulous food, fabulous service! I can definitely understand why they are always so busy! The fried mushrooms are THE BEST!

Located next to a Randall's grocery store, It seems like an Italian restaurant but when you get in it's mainly a sports bar. There was spaghetti and a chicken fettuccini Alfredo plus fish tacos, Philly cheese steak and several varieties of burgers and a lot of appetizers on the menu. It has a full bar and wine and beer selections. My wife had the chicken park and said the chicken was good but the Alfredo sauce had no flavor at all Vic and the jar sauce from the grocery store is better. No salad and one breadstick. $10.99 The cheesesteak was good, made with prime rib for $12.99 but the little $3.00 glass of fries was not worth the price. Bill with tax and before tip = $29.20 Service was good and waitress was friendly and engaging. There was a pool table toward the back and the atmosphere was dark with a wall of TV's over the Bar and several more scattered around. Medium loud was on the overhead speakers.

Short review here. I come to maggiore's to drink and watch sports. This place is awesome. They have a huge bar, cool staff and Tv's everywhere. The food is really great too. Oh and there supposed to have a great pizza too. I can't wait to actually eat one. Great value also.

Their chicken fingers are a must have!!!! Huge and delicious. I crave/dream about them! Good salad portions to. Their burgers are big and juicy. Good deals on Sunday for drinks . Just be careful to not order premium liquor with margaritas deals, we asked for the margarita special but were then asked what tequila (so we assumed it was any tequila) our bad for not clarifying, but also tell us when you ask there is a huge up charge! Good deal on mimosas on Sunday. A few employees with masks below noses, made me feel slightly unsafe, saw managers pass them and say nothing. (Luckily they have food runners so the server didn't go near my food, i would have left otherwise) TVs near all the booths is a huge plus for football Sunday!

Great little bar! We stumbled upon this little gem. The service was great as was the food. We ended up dining two nights in a row while kids were at VBS. Night one we both got burgers that were on special, fries and tots. They are all great. The next night I went back because the wings looked good. The wings and side salad were great!

All Good has a pretty large bar with table tops and tables inside. There are picnic tables outside. The bar features many craft beers on tap and some very interesting specialty cocktails. Their Paloma is my favorite. There is a permanent food truck on site that serves up an excellent smash burger. They do have live music on the weekends. Service at the bar and tables is always friendly, and the servers make sure you are never sitting with an empty glass! Do check out this gem area in Cedar Park; there is something for everyone.

I pulled up thinking I was just grabbing a little happy hour snack, and suddenly I'm knee-deep in plates like I'm at an all-you-can-eat taste-test sponsored by destiny. Happy hour food? We ordered everything. Literally. If it was on the happy hour menu, we said "yes." If there was a button that said "Are you sure?" we hit "confirm" without reading the terms and conditions. No regrets. Happy hour drinks? Dangerous. Delicious. Deceptively smooth. One more and I would've started singing along to the music videos like I was auditioning for a comeback tour nobody asked for. And speaking of music-- The vibe was straight fire. They were blasting 80s and 90s hits with the actual music videos playing, and I swear for a second I forgot where I was. I thought I was in a time machine, or at least in some kind of retro-themed VIP lounge where everyone has good taste. The nostalgia was hitting harder than the cocktails. The decor? Chef's kiss. It's giving "classy with personality," like the place knows it looks good but doesn't need to brag about it. Service? Perfect. Impeccable. Smooth like they rehearsed it. Savannah and Silvana were fantastic -- professional, friendly, zero stress, and somehow always there with exactly what we needed without hovering like a drone. Ten out of ten humans. The wild part? They have a huge menu. Like, "bring reading glasses" huge. But I didn't even make it past happy hour because that table turned into a small culinary battlefield and I was happily losing. I'm almost embarrassed it took me this long to discover this spot. This place is a hidden gem, and I'm already planning my return like it's a sequel

Our server was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the place has a cool little vibe that feels relaxed but still energetic. We got there around 11:00, and by 11:15 or 11:20 the place was already lively and noisy, which honestly tells you people know where the good pizza is. I had the House salad with Caesar dressing, and it was fresh and loaded with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, mushrooms, black olives, mozzarella, and crunchy garlic croutons. For pizza, I ordered the City Pie, and those toppings were giving -- pepperoni, Italian sausage, spinach, mushrooms, onions, black olives, and bell peppers. I'm not usually a huge fan of super thin crust pizza, but this one worked because the toppings and flavor carried every bite. The girls ordered the Queen Margherita, and it looked just as good as it sounds with fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, Parmesan-Reggiano, and basil. Example - normal price of $12 and happy hour price of $9. To get them for the $9 price you have to spend a minimum of $3 in beverages, PER APPETIZER you order lol. So bizarre. So if you want to get 3 appetizers for yourself you have to buy 3 drinks or else it's full price. Only one happy hour appetizer price per $3+ beverage. Very weird. I've never heard of a stipulation to get a happy hour appetizer price The overall layout of this restaurant is excellent. I can see it hopping on Sunday afternoons for NFL games and Saturdays in the fall for college football games. It was very empty on a Tuesday night but most places are slow Monday through Wednesday. I hope the place can get it together with their service, logical reasoning, and implement some more common sense and hire more assertive employees and managers. It could be a mainstay in the area with better management and training. No WiFi either and poor mobile data service in this area, so wasn't able to post this review until I got on the road.
