I never thought I'd be updating this review for a second time. But can someone tell me WHY....in…read morethe H E double hockey sticks does Whole Foods find it necessary to glue their eggs into their egg cartons?! No, seriously....why are they doing this?! Now, before I'm accused of being totally draconian here with my 1 star reduction, let me emphasize that this isn't a one time thing. Nearly every single time I get a carton of eggs from Whole Foods, it is almost guaranteed at least one or two eggs will be inexplicably glued to the carton. This is a problem for SO many reasons. Though, for the sake of brevity, I'm gonna list two of them. 1.) It's damn near impossible to extract the egg out of its pocket without inevitably destroying the shell, thereby obliterating any chances of enjoying a tasty breakfast. 2.) Even IF you somehow manage to liberate said egg from its inherent captivity without destroying it, you'll ostensibly have to deal with the remnants of egg carton pieces that remain glued to the outer shell. My pro life tip for the second reason is to hard boil the egg so that you may avoid any chances of carton bits mixing in with an otherwise raw egg yolk once you crack it. And, so far as I know, no - you can't just wash it off. Because it's glued. Again, WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS?! I'm not sure if it's only this location that has this problem or if ALL Whole Foods stores are shipping their eggs with a few of them totally immobilized inside their respective pockets. It's like they were totally petrified of the idea that MAYBE the eggs would somehow escape the carton and break. Well, NUTS to that, since I usually end up breaking them regardless when trying carefully to extract them out of their cemented position. So, yeah....that, combined with the fact Whole Foods' hot bar has also somehow gotten worse with time instead of better, I find myself regressing my rating back to where I originally had them. It's still a wicked good place to get a few select items here and there. But these two REALLY annoying anomalies compel me to give Whole Foods on Amherst 4 immovable eggs out of 5.

(2) 365 brand of organic pumpkin seeds are from CHINA! I have 10 years experience living in that country and I can tell you that the USDA has no authority to do anything there but to ask for their "word" to tell them that it is organic. I'm shocked that WF thinks we are all so stupid. I doubt you could find a field, anywhere in the entire country, big enough to grow a commercial pumpkin crop, that is legitimately organic. Maybe it's just coincidence that the seeds were also very oily.

Roni is an awesome person to work with, making fantastic suggestions and guiding decision-making very kindly for this mom! My daughter and her fiancee decided at the last minute to have an ice cream cake for their wedding cake. They decided to have the NH Nom Nom for their cake cutting and a sheet cake for service. Roni had the sheet cake all sliced for serving making it extremely easy to serve as we had a sundae bar set up for the ice cream cake. Each piece of cake had frosting around the outside. The ice cream cake was met with RAVE Reviews by the guests! The bridal couple kept the NH Nom Nom decorations that same as pictured on their site. AND the best thing of all - as there were two family members with celiac, the cake portions were gluten-free so we could partake, and the rest of the people did not even know it, the cake was so good! AND - She packed the cakes so well they were still frozen even though the temps on 6/30/18 were in the mid-90s and the cakes traveled from Nashua to Arlington, MA. Hubby's birthday is in August ... guess what he's having for his birthday cake!
