Went here for the first time with 4 people and we all got different flavors. I got a small (pictured) and it tasted really good, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. One member got the blackberry ice cream and it was on the watery end and the syrup flavor is very strong. The mint ice cream was really good. Then the strawberry cheesecake special (forgot the exact name) was also really good. The ice cream was good, but not worth what we paid in my opinion. The service was not good. Two of the people there were very cranky and not pleasant to interact with. The person ahead of us didn't speak English well, and the worker kept rolling her eyes and we can hear her complaining about the customer. I placed an order with DoorDash and received two create-your-owns, one regular (for me) and one large, for my boyfriend. The large ice cream tasted soured, as if something used was past date. There was no denying something was wrong with it. (everyone tried it and agreed it tasted off, almost fermented and fizzy-like). I called the store to explain the issue, and the manager was rude and sassy right off the bat. I explained exactly the problem in the nicest way i possibly could, as i normally hate confrontation anyways. She proceeded to say "Say whaaatt??" in a sarcastic tone, then claiming she made the ice cream and can ensure nothing was wrong with it. mind you the flavor should have not even been close to the sour fizzy nasty taste it had. She didn't offer anything other than a refund through doordash, which i'm not sure if that's policy or whatever but she was not nice about it, did not apologize, and even fought with me ensuring she "checks everything" . Great experience for an awesome dessert. Cheryl, the manager made the visit very fun. Not only did I experience a new way of eating ice cream, I learned about the process and enjoyed her information on the product. Real tasty and served in a waffle cone bowl which added to the mix. It was nice being able to chat with a very pleasant person like Cheryl on a cold fall night and talk about Nashua and the area. I've been going here a few times with my friends, and they always ask me to bring them back. One of my girl friends is OBSESSED with their mint oreo chocolate chip shakes, and I love the flavor options. I've gotten different varieties of mocha, cheesecake with Reese's pieces, and cherry vanilla chip. Every time I've gone I see the same woman behind the counter, I think she's the owner. We came in as a large group, 10 of us. The gentleman that was working was amazing! I didn't catch his name, but he had very long hair. Amazing guy. He walked us through every step of the process before any of us began ordering. He took our orders 1 by 1 lining them up. He then made each one in the order he took them, all the while entertaining my daughter, who we were celebrating, and keeping up with all of us taking over his quiet lobby. Due to the amazing customer service and yummy ice cream, I actually went to Sub-Zero two nights in a row over the weekend. The first time I went was Saturday night 3/16/2024 around 8pm. When I arrived, it was busy. The manager explained everything to us so thoroughly while kindly training a new employee. While I was waiting for the three ice creams to be made, a food delivery driver showed up to pick up an order. The manager was doing a great job multitasking, while making sure everyone was happy. The delivery driver started complaining about plastic wrap on the ice cream. The manager was extremely professional. I don't know how she was able to keep her cool dealing with the relentless delivery driver, while also training a new employee and helping a store full of customers, and still keeping a smile on her face. The three ice creams we had on Saturday night were great! The customer service was even better. After witnessing the managers professionalism on Saturday night, it only made sense to go back on Sunday night to get more ice cream. Luckily that same manager was there on Sunday night. Another employee challenged that statement, and suddenly, it only took 3 minutes to make. I chose Cake Batter (almond milk base) with oreo pieces. It honestly tasted like freezer burned vanilla almond milk with oreo pieces. It was the most disgusting "Ice cream" I've ever tried. My fiance ordered butter pecan. We tried several flavors, and couldn't taste any "flavor;" left us to wonder if we lost our sense of taste, due to Covid 19, bit we have no fever, chills, cough, body aches, etc - - just less money than we started with, having wasted our money at Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream. They do have a good selection which includes vegan ice cream. Came here on a whim, and wasn't too disappointed with the ice cream itself. However the customer service and lack of staff was disappointing. Upon walking in, there were a couple people in front of me, but the line moved quickly. Once it was my turn, the employee just stared at me. I told her I was picking up (and the name) and she still stared at me. Then, she stated she could not find my order. Upon showing her my order confirmation, she was like OH okay! I think staff needs more training since they shouldn't assume every order is UberEats or food delivery. Once it was finally ready, part of the ice cream was not placed in the cup enough. I sadly watched part of it slowly fall onto the counter. This was followed by an, "oh......" "I can make you a little more if you'd like." I just thought this was odd. Nice place, nice staff. I give it 3 stars except when ordering a soy base, it is very inconsistent. There's a guy with long hair who makes the soy ice cream as close to the texture ice cream should have each time with the marshmallow sauce and he says it comes standard with the ice cream, but when I mention it to other employees, they seem confused, charge me for the marshmallow and the icecream is still slush. I ordered over the phone today a cherry flavor with extra cherry mix ins. He asked me to clarify at least three times and i said exactly "cherry flavor with extra cherry mix ins". When my sister brought it home to me, it was slush and there were no cherries. Still ate it because ain't no way I'm driving all the way to the shop and wait in a huge line of people to just to get it fixed. The other bases seem fine and no disrespect intended, I think the store shouldn't offer the soy base unless the employees are all on the same page and there's a set method to making it, otherwise you're paying for disappointment 80% of the time. I probably will come back but only order if I see that one employee there. Definitely do give the place a try. Again, it's a nice place, the employees are nice, it looks very sanitary there (except for the one time the soy was expired and slurped out and back in the carton like silly putty, that was very off-putting ). read more

We were so happy to find Sub Zero! As a family who can't have dairy, going out for treats is very rare. I was so surprised to see they had almost 40 different vegan flavors of ice cream available!!!
