This is a cute little hole in the wall spot. It definitely has a tea and crumpets vibe throughout with the decor. The food was tasty and kid approved. The portions were huge so zero complaints there. Giving 4 stars because while the service was fast and the food was good, I did not feel as though this was a kid friendly location. The server gave off that "I'm in a rush" vibe while taking their orders and seemed bothered by requests made to accommodate their specific dietary needs. I give people the benefit of the doubt so I hold no ill will. That just happened to be my experience this day. As the clientele there seemed to be a more mature crowd, I would definitely recommend this spot for a kid free dining experience.

Always fantastic food. The wait is worth it, the servers are always fun. Small local business. Get the grits or really anything! Had the bruschetta chicken today and it was so flavorful

Cute little spot, diner style. Food was good, all of our plates were shared so the photos are not completely accurate. We have a piece of everything. Dishes ordered were short stack of pancakes from the kids menu. Thick, fluffy, & yummy were the pancakes. A breakfast croissant with a scrambled egg, bacon, and cheese was ordered. Bacon was crispy, egg was a little dry and burnt. Croissant was buttery. Lastly we ordered a Cheeseburger. Now let me slam on the brakes for this one! That has been the juiciest burger by far I have had since moving to FL from CA! Mighty mighty delicous! Service was great. Our waitress was excellent. My only quam from not making this a 5 star review was inside the restaurant I could see flys flying & gnats. Those are always a no go for me. Other than that it was good.

Really cute place in a Publix shopping center. Warmly greeted and sat down immediately. It was 2PM & they close from 3-5PM. Chicken Salad was quite tasty, but too many hunks of celery - plated on a lovely croissant with hot steak fries. The quiche Lorraine was a bit runny; but had a flavor. But it was a bit cool (just needed to be cooked a bit longer). The peach cobbler was premade and in cool case - only partially heated. Good taste ... Might go back again - but only if up that way --- not a destination eatery.

When you enter in the door to Maggie's Table you are transported to another time & place. A plush look, with chandeliers hanging over each both, velvet curtains, classic wallpaper & fine China plates adorning the walls. The bakery cases on either side of the front counter beckon you indulge! Freshly made quiches, apple tarts, phenomenal cinnamon rolls, up-side down pineapple cupcakes and more! We got lucky- good timing, we were sat right away. The line after us had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table to open up. There are outdoor tables and counter seating, but this is a small cafe. Our server was lovely, she greeted us warmly and grabbed our drink order, the coffee is strong! I was having a hard time deciding on what to order- someone on a FB group said their biscuits and gravy was amazing and that's one of my favorites and a great judging plate for a breakfast spot. I also loveeeeee quiche (next time). John honed in on the in house made corned beef hash- which was extraordinary, btw. The biscuits are made fresh and I am a biscuit snob and loved them and the gravy had the most sausage ever!!! I snagged a cinnamon roll for the road and we left happy and full! I cannot wait to return to try more! And I have already bragged to several friends- I suspect they are going to be very popular!

Was so excited coming in and seeing this major redesign and new owners. After waiting 15 minutes to get seats and the staff seating the guy who just walks in and yelled was a major disappointment.... The waitress apologized and finally cleaned a table for us. The menu is simply diner food. The food was disappointing also. Bad first impression, maybe we will go again in hopes it's better.

In the old Friend's Diner in the Cobblestone Crossing shopping center on Monument Rd, stands a new diner spot called "Maggie's Table." There's a brightly-lit bakery case filled with delicious-looking confectionary treats. It was packed on this Sunday morning, so that was a good sign. Unfortunately, the good signs ended there. I got the "Eggs 'N Such" meal with "Joshy's Crispy House Made Corned Beef Hash." The "Eggs 'N Such" is your basic 2-egg, hash browns (or home fries or grits), and toast platter. What really piqued my interest is "Joshy's Crispy House Made Corned Beef Hash." There are certain expectations when one reads "House Made" on a menu. One expects that a house made item is made from scratch; in the case of "Joshy's Crispy House Made Corned Beef Hash," one expects the corned beef to be made with beef brisket, brined in a special secret brining blend concocted by the aforementioned Joshy, and braised low and slow over hours, sliced and cooked to order. The only thing "Joshy" did was open up a can of Hormel Corned Beef Hash (you know the one with the factory diced potatoes), dump it on the flat top and warm it up. There was nothing House Made about this corned beef hash and to call it such on the menu is a misinterpretation at best and a down-right lie at worst. I don't mind the Hormel stuff. I like it. But don't call it "Joshy's Crispy House Made Corned Beef Hash" when it isn't. So with that little misleading item description in my mind, it makes me wonder if the delicious-looking confectionery treats are really bought from the Publix bakery next door and re-sold as if it were house made. The tiny convection oven in the open kitchen compared to the number of items in the bakery case makes me think it's more the latter than the former. But that's all speculation. Maggie's Table needs to be honest about what they offer on the menu. If something isn't house made, then don't call it that. Note: the pic isn't mine as I forgot to take one, but it looked like mine, except I had fried eggs and hash owns instead of scrambled eggs and home fries. #foodie #yousitonathroneoflies

This place is so cute and top notch the decor is amazing and it's super quaint. The kitchen is visible and the guys are really taking such care. They are wiping the plates and make sure that all is right. I tried the eclair, the berry scone, and the biscuits and gravy. The best part is that they also offer fresh oj from the machine that does it in front of you. The food was all fresh came out quick and had great flavor. Can't wait to go back again!!!

I've been wanting to eat here for awhile but I didn't feel like driving so I use DoorDash to have the food delivered to me. The food was amazing. The quality was amazing. I look forward to going to the restaurant to eat inside. I would definitely recommend.

This was a lovely breakfast in a sweet setting. The service was wonderful! Great coffee, yummy food, and wonderful atmosphere. So excited this is near our home. So many things to try. We really liked Maggie's Table! I had the eggs and stuff w side of corned beef hash. The eggs were poached perfectly. The corned beef hash seemed like it was the classic formal from the can but had the perfect crunchy outside and I actually like that salty canned corned beef hash. :). -- But the star of the show was the GRITS! Daaaaang! Soooooo yummy! Apparently they put heavy cream in them -- yummmmoooo! I crave them already! My love got the ham & cheese crepe- we just got back from Paris and were craving crepes. The inside was super tasty but the outside crepe was a bit under done and chewy/doughy. It was good, but not necessarily crave-able yet we look forward to going back and trying the Benny.

OMG the reviews were on spot. Love having this brunch place within walking distance of the house! The place is intimate and quaint. Love the french pastries they make, decor of the place is beautiful. We started off with bloody mary's and rolled into breakfast for Valentine's Day. We enjoy the omelets. Tye flavor was superb. Didn't think one could take it up a notch, but they did. Its a perfect french cuisine for a lovers day! Must try Jacksonville.

Went on Saturday and had a lovely time with my husband. Cute little local place- the decor is very tea room- love it! Food was decent, but nothing special. Same with the service. Overall we had a great time and it was a normal breakfast. Downfall was the price- it was VERY overpriced for the experience/ quality. As I said it was just an average breakfast and for the 2 of us (with no alcohol) came to $54. They also add a service charge to use credit cards - but won't tell you.

I made it my mission to find the and send her fresh mooncakes. I was thankful for this establishment, as they had five different flavors of mooncakes. This was the only place I located, close enough to Callahan, that actually sells mooncakes. They are located inside of R & D International Market. The bakery is well stocked with a very off sweet treats or savory baked goods. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They labeled each mooncake so we knew the flavors, as they are indivvidually wrapped. We shipped them overnight to her. We also bought doubles so we could try them.as well. The flavors were black sesame, green tea, pineapple, red bean and lotus. The black sesame and red bean were very dense. The lotus and green tea were a lighter texture with great flavor. Our favorite was the lotus with the red bean in second place. It is a quiet, quaint spot among the food court with a few tables to enjoy your purchase while you are there.

The next morning, we had the sausage and scallion bun at home. I liked it, maybe more than the pork bun, and would get it again, though it had the advantage of being reheated at home in the microwave. My wife liked the dough, the hot dog less so (and I must admit the hot dog in the croissant we had a while ago at Cruffin & Tea was better). I'd get this again, though probably trying the regular hot dog bun instead of the scallion one next time. I'd asked the server if she could reheat our items when I bought them, but she said no, and didn't seem to understand English well. So far, I've preferred the savory things to the sweets here. Each item was $3-3.25, so a better value than the other bakeries I go to. I will return to this place periodically, but I still prefer places like Cruffin & Tea and Le Petit Paris, so I'm giving Mai Xiang Garden Bakery an average rating, 3 stars: pretty good, but not above average for a bakery, other than the good value.
