Went to Maggie's in Brookfield twice last week. Chose the executive lunch ; had soup, salad and iced tea. Just enough and at a good price. Onion soup and Caesar salad the first time and clam chowder and Caesar salad the second time. Good service. Looking forward to going back. Have also had a large salad with chicken, shrimp and steak which was great and I had leftovers to take home! read more

Great atmosphere with the round booths, but the food and the service leave much to be desired. The burgers are mediocre (Widow Browns are much better) and the steaks are tough. The bar area is cool for hanging out and watching football. read more

So this is the second time that My husband and I have gone here. The first time was for lunch. We were seated and then ignored for 20 minutes so we left. The host saw us the whole time and said nothing when we walked right past them to leave.(NOT a good thing). So figuring it was just a bad day for them we decided to go Saturday and sit outside. This time we were seated and greeted right away(seems promising). Our waitress was really sweet and was on top of all the tables(which is a good thing since she was serving and bussing all of them with no other help). I ordered the Luau salad and my husband ordered the fish and chips. My salad had no dressing and my husband's fish was sooooooo greasy it left a puddle on the plate. The only thing I can say is that I at least know that the food is lousy and I wont be going back any time soon. read more

Wow! I am really impressed with this restaurant! It is part of a mall in Connecticut. We went here visiting family, and it is conveniently located in the same mall as our hotel. MENU IS HUGE! There must've been over 300 adult entrees- I'm not exaggerating! We had a party of 16. The food came relatively quickly (about a 1/2 hour) which I thought was good for that amount of people. Food was applebees-like, but a little more personalized. There is also a little stand to buy desserts on the way out. Bathrooms were very clean and newly renovated. Only downside was that it was very hot in there, but they did turn up the air when we asked. Overall, great experience! This is a great place to go with friends and family! read more

I really only ever go to Maggie's in Brookfield because of the PGA simulators that they have. So typically I'm there with some friends having a beer and playing golf. However, in the few times that I've dined there I've noticed that the menu is so massive that the quality of the food can't be and hasn't been that good in years. There are literally 50+ things to choose from as far as meals are concerned which can be a good think if you're adventurous. But, if you stick to one thing, or a limited menu, don't expect anything stellar. read more

Great design, atmosphere, and service. However, the food was lousy. I did like the free refills on my strawberry milk and the cheesecake factory cheesecakes are delicious. But at the end of the day it comes down to food and cost. Good to watch a sports game at the bar, not eat dinner. read more

The menu never ends and everything is fabulous. I have been there over 20 times in the year I have lived here. Its a nice atmosphere for families and a quick eat. So Delicious and wonderful wait staff. They even have Cheescake Factory desserts. read more

Maggie's has a large menu, with many delicious choices, and is therefore our "go-to" place for dinner and/or drinks. My absolute favorite meal is Louisiana Chicken which is served over pasta and is a HUGE portion - I generally eat 2-3 times off the one meal. But the best part of visiting Maggie's is the friendly, efficient service. We usually sit at the bar when we come in, and are always greeted promptly and courteously, even when the bar is crowded. We've come to enjoy sitting at the bar versus a table because quite frankly the service is better and faster at the bar. Mallory, Cece, and Tom are the bartenders we see most frequently and they are the primary reason we keep coming back. read more

Comfortable environment with high back booths for a subtle level of privacy. Service is attentive. The menu is a rather large book with variety to satisfy any palate, but the quality of the food does not suffer with a rather large selection of items. My husband and I went in for a date night. We sat at the bar, planning on ordering dinner and having some drinks. He ordered a beer, I ordered a Sangria. First, the bartender didn't know how to make the drink. Ok, coachable moment. My husband's beer was warm, and it was evident it would be with the amount of foam coming from the taps. The bartender didn't have much of a personality. The bar itself was dirty. From the wine chiller, to the glass chiller to the glassware, it's apparent there is no process in place. I am a bar manager, I know what a bar should look like, and how it should run. We were so disappointed, we didn't even order dinner, from what looked like an amazing menu. I wrote a much longer review however my computer seemed to have nuked it. Save your money, this place has mediocre service and large portions of very mediocre food. You can do better elsewhere in Brookfield or Danbury. It's a bar, large and cavernous. And it is poorly managed and you'll be scratching your head wondering why you pissed away your paycheck and still have an angry girlfriend. Save it. Go somewhere else. read more

I'm always on the lookout for the most promising burger in town. After doing a bit of searching I came across a burger at Maggie McFly's made with "American Kobe". I've never had Japanese Kobe but I can only hope it's far, far superior to "American Kobe". As far as I could tell, there is no real difference, unless the regular ground beef here is particularly poor. Maybe it would have been better had it come out medium as I had ordered. I was not impressed. The burger came to $15+, although I did add bacon and cheddar (which tasted like American). Again, this is a rating on the Kobe Burger only, hopefully their other faire is more cost appropriate. read more

Every single time I have eaten at Maggie's has been awesome! Having worked next door at Auto Zone for over 2 years, Maggie's was easy and convenient for a bite to eat before, during or after work. Went with co-workers a couple times and always had a fun experience whether for food or at the bar. The service is great, the food is delicious, and everyone is friendly and open! I've been going here for years. Back in the day, it could be 45 minutes to wait for a table. Not anymore, just walk in and we were seated. We haven't had any wait the last 4-5 times we've gone. Not sure why. The menu is extensive. Really something for everyone. The food is average, but the price is reasonable. This restaurant has the best waiters and waitresses around. Very attentive and the manager always walking around asking if everything is ok. I like that all seats are high booths because they are comfortable and very private. read more

We stopped coming years ago and then came often again over the past year since our 9 year old likes it. Every single time there is an issue. The staff and servers are great but our meals are screwed up EVERY TIME. We ask for sauce on side for burgers - hardly happens. We ask for well down fries - hardly happens. We have given them so many chances and am just really tired of getting a bill for $70 and walking away not eating. Servers apologize as do staff but continues to happen over and over. Enough $ has come out of our pocket and we have given you sooooo many chances. I am sad to say we will not be back after trying over and over. read more

I have been in for dinner since my earlier review and find that some of their offerings are just perfect and others not so much. They have an absolutely heavenly hanger steak accompanied by sauteed spinach and mashed - yum. Been here many times & never had anything less than great until today. We walked into an empty bar but dirty, full of plates and glasses. The restaurant was barely full & the poor bartender was busting her butt while the rest of the staff slowly walked/stood around. The bar and bar tables were a disaster & it took us 20 minutes before even getting drinks. There was nobody at the host stand as a group formed at the door. The bartender made great drinks and took our order once she had the chance. Can't even blame her! But clearly management and the rest of the staff could care less about helping one another and the appearance of their restaurant. Still would give it a chance because everything came out great but would hate to see it go under due to lack of management skills. read more

Food was only OK and service was below normal. A family of 9 left a hockey game and were headed home. We called Maggie's from the car and they told us the wait was10 minutes. We told them no problem we were 15 minutes out and left our name. When we arrived we were told it was a 30 minute wait. Of the 9 of us 3 were kids. We would have gone somewhere else if we knew we had to wait 30 minutes. We waited anyway. The server took forever to get to our table. When she finally arrived she took our order. We didn't see the appetizer or our drinks for about 1/2 hour. The app would be graded a solid B. The food finally arrived about another 1/2 hour later. The kids were pretty antsy by that time. My daughters meal was wrong. It wasn't what she ordered. She wasn't going to send it back because she didn't want to wait another hour. The tortellini my granddaughter had was swimming in oil, of course she didn't eat it. My other granddaughter had mac and cheese, she didn't like it either. No one at the table said, wow this is really good food. The glasses of water and soda sat empty on the table with our waitress nowhere in site. We didn't see her until it was check time and even at that she didn't offer dessert. Not that we would have ordered any, because we wouldn't have. It was the worst $200 I have left on a meal in a long time. I would recommend that if you are in the area and you see the restaurant, do yourself a favor and keep on driving. read more

I just took my family there for dinner and I have to say it was one of the worse meals of my life. My wife order New England clam chowder and it was watered down and had a very bad taste. My daughter had the ribs and fries, the ribs were off almost like it was a low quality meat or old. The fires were even so bad, my daughter split them out. She said, Holy crap, I have never spit a fry out in my life, I love fries. I got the shellfish pot. Half the clams did not even open and it had such a god awful taste, I had to go get a donut afterwards to try and get the taste out. I used scope when I got home and an hour after the meal, I still have a foul taste in my mouth. Even the beer tasted shunked. I will never, ever, ever again will I go there. read more

On Friday March 22nd I went for lunch with 2 girlfriends to start our girls weekend. I'm a vegetarian and ordered the veggie pannini which looked delicious. I asked for no onions. Half way through the sandwich I noticed something in it that I thought was onion and pulled it out. It was rolled up and upon unwrapping it saw that it was a RAW CHICKEN TENDERLOIN. I was repulsed, along with my girlfriends and got the manager over. She of course was incredibly apologetic and they comped the meal, but RAW CHICKEN????
