I am in town on business and have been here 3 out of 5 days during my stay. Hands down fanstastic! The food, the staff, the management, all just absolutely wonderful! Interesting food and drink selection, great they serve food until midnight, bar food alittle later, and sell slices of cake until 1:30am. (Black forest chocolate cake and carrot cake are fantastic.) Ok, our very first visit here. Was checking out menu and reviews online and all seemed like it was worth a visit. First and foremost our server Ua, (Apparently he was sick of people saying Josh so he chose other end of Joshua) can I just say he is the very best and everything a good server should be, funny, attentive but not overbearing. The menu is huge, a little overwhelming at first so give yourself time to take it all in before you make a decision. I started with French onion soup and the hubby got chicken and rice, both obviously made from scratch as their menu boasts. For entree I went with Shepherd's pie and he went with the brisket. The Shepherd's pie was huge, and very tasty however the taste was somewhat overpowered by the unusual large amount of mushrooms and the fact that the vegetables while plentiful were cut julienne style which made it quite awkward to manage. Ua came to check on us and insisting on honesty I shared my concerns, without hesitation he offered to make something else so I decided on the pot roast. It was delicious, melt in your mouth, super tasty asiago mashed potatoes and a really nice corn medley. My husband loved his meal, he was afraid it looked like too small of a portion but in end said it was more than enough, he loved the mashed maple sweet potatoes and asparagus for his sides and we both ordered an extra side of creamy cauliflower which was sumptuous. We were both extremely happy with the food and would definitely be up for coming back to try some more of this huge menu, here's hoping we get Ua as our server again, this place is definitely worth a try when you're not quite sure what you're in the mood for. The issue was the food/drink. Lobster Cobb salad, with spongey previously frozen lobster with not much else going for it. Way too sweet white sangria that basically tasted like pineapple juice. Doughy bread on the short rib "grilled cheese". Old fashioned with regular ice cubes that melted quickly... This place just talked a big game in their menu and I guess I expected more. I'd say one half step up from Applebee's, and that is not ok for the prices they charge. Will not be returning. read more

I'm from NYC and was here for the weekend. Saw these place from out side and thought it would be great to try Place Looks nicer than the service. The mojito I order had 2 tiny mint leafs which is what makes a mojito taste great. Didn't taste like a mojito. I complained about it to the waitress and she said she would talk to the manager. I Never saw the manager, they never replaced my drink and had to pay $8 dollars for a supposedly Mojito. The food was average and the service mediocre. Hopefully management can starts taking action and tighten up loose ends. This place has potential. My suggestion to management is to be more proactive, walk around the tables and ask your customers are they are OK, hows the food, get involved. It will go along way. read more

This is my 4th visit. I returned cause I liked it. Tonight was another story. Service was so poor that I watched people leave for not being greeted at a table in a timely fashion. Service was as poor fo me. My greeting was delayed, drinks slow to come, appetizer wrong. When brought to the go correct it. Prices are quite high for the portions and what is included. Shrimp scallop alla vodka came with 3 shrimp and tiny pieces of scallop in the entire dish for $23. The bread sticks were flavorless, which basically was par for the course for the entire meal. Mediocre at best. The waitress was, however, very friendly and cheerful. I am not impressed, by this place. I was so excited to try this place and then we did and they served us RAW Salmon and manager Mike with the gauges was very rude. I am not at all amused by a manager with a cocky attitude, a rude demeanor and an awful disregard for customers. Instead of offering to cook another, Mike said we can reheat the salmon. No Thank You, it wasn't cooked properly the first time. So the plate was brought to the back and re delivered stating it was a fresh one but if it was fresh it wouldn't have the fork Mark from the first go around or the vegetables half eaten if it was a fresh new dinner. I will not be returning, I do not sacrifice common decency and properly cooked food for no one. I will say though the restaurant and the waitress were very nice. read more

After going to the movies, my wife and I stopped in to Maggie McFly's for a bite to eat. The menu was huge, perhaps overly ambitious. We ordered Deviled Eggs and Avocado Toast for starters and both dishes were very good, but everything went downhill from there. Our next course arrived halfway through our appetizers, so the server left them on an adjoining table, and we watched them get cold. I asked why they were delivered while we were still eating our apps, she muttered something and disappeared. My Cuban Sandwich was nothing like it's description. There was no pickle on it, no mustard, and no mayonnaise. Anyone who enjoys Cuban Sandwiches knows that they must be grilled in a panini press before they are ready to be served, this one was not done properly. The French fries were cold and chewy and not worth finishing. Before leaving I stopped in the mens room. The massive puddle of urine in front of the urinals on the floor was testimony to the poor aim of the patrons and the poor cleaning habits of management. I love this one particular salad that I always get there the staff is really interesting I'm not sure where they find these people but it's a good environment. The menu is like 80 pages long they have tons of beers on tap the service is half-and-half it really depends on who you get sometimes they're attentive sometimes they are not. So me and my wife have been going here since it opened and almost every single time its been a perfect experience. Unfortunately the last time we went it started out as a total disaster,we were put at a table where my chair and our area was freshly sticky in several places but anyways We placed our order to have my wifes buffalo chicken salad come half made missing a few things and not tossed like it normally comes. We order a chicken kids meal for our child that was suppose to come with mash potatos and green beans to then be brought some adult chicken and pepper dish and when sent back they brought it out again! After that i asked for the manager whos name was Lorenzo who literally saved our experience there. He himself went back to the kitchen and remade my wife's salad which then came out perfect, he made sure my child's meal was made correctly and didnt charge us for it and was completely all about making sure we left satisfied. He and I believe a lead waitress named Juliana are the only reason we are willing to keep going as she too was bouncing around everywhere correcting issues that were happening in multiple places and still found time to make sure we stayed happy. I believe there was a lot of training going on so ill say that was the issue but definitely if it wasnt for those two we may have never gone back which would have sucked cause we do enjoy that place. Normally a great atmosphere, amazing food, good music and nice people working there. But definitely hats off to Lorenzo and Juliana this time around they were the real highlights to our time there. read more

I had dinner there last night with 2 other people. Absolutely LOVED my dinner. Two of us ate the stuffed shrimp, spinach and we swapped the rice for a baked potato. The shrimp had a wonderful sauce over it. (nice size shrimp) the spinach was fresh with a hint of butter and the baked potato was just very good. The other guest had a Shellfish Pot. The sauce on this was the best! Service was great along with a huge variety of food choices for everyone's palate. It was unanimous that we will be coming back. The food is okay...if you can get it. We sat in embarrassment next to a couple who only got a single app -- and then two minutes later their entrees -- during out entire meal including dessert. Missing condiments on fries (and no ketchup on the table) put us at the mercy of a server who did not check when serving nor come back after dropping the dishes on the table. He seemed confused at our request for ketchup and essentially slammed it on the table and sped off when he did bring it. Menus are disgusting--the thick black glossy paper shows the fingerprints and questionable stains and drip marks of every past patron on every page. Caloric information is also limited to a handful of dishes on one page. It may not be required for this chain but you're in New York now folks. Music is crazy loud and wait staff seem to shriek as a result. Probably not their fault but it's very unpleasant. Conversation is impossible. This was their second shot with us. We will not be back. The food was not bad but we couldn't stand the "atmosphere" and "service". read more

My girlfriend and I wanted to try out a new place for dinner and drinks. Upon arrival there was no hostess to greet us, after looking at cupcakes and waiting someone finally greeted and seated us. It took about 10 minutes for us to meet our waiter. I asked about one of the beers on the menu and was told he didn't know what it was and would be right back with an answer....that took another 10 minutes. Once we placed our order for drinks and an app we had not received any water and waited ANOTHER 10 minutes for drinks which never came to the table. Instead "our app" showed up and by then we asked to be seated at the bar for faster service. At the bar we reordered our drinks and started to eat our app which was supposed to be Ahi tuna nachos...but looked kind of weird. Turned out it was not what we ordered, but it was the Ahi poke stack, which to be fair was pretty good. Our correct app order did come while we were paying our check, which we didn't get to eat. This was a really pitiful experience and I would not come here again based on my experience. No manager ever came over and acknowledged us or apologized for our ridiculous experience. Nice UPDATE: We were invited back by the owner for a meal at no cost to us to make up for our experience. On our return visit we received great service from Payton, the apps and main courses were all good. There was a little confusion with our drinks but overall the second time was much better than the first. We took away that this new spot has a HUGE menu, lots of local ingredients and is a nice place for dinner and a drink. A few of us went the Maggie Mcfly's a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant is really nice...plenty of seating. The menu is very large, there is literally something for everyone. I had the coconut shrimp, mashed potatoes with asiago and corn medley. The food was delicious. The service was good, drinks coming out were a little slow, but if that's the only complaint I have, that's not so bad. The server was knowledgable and offered suggestions. The portion sizes are huge, so I feel the pricing is ok. I will definitely be back! read more

This place is awesome! The menu is quite large with an amazing assortment of choices for food and drink. I ordered a shock top on draft and the chicken gyro with fries. It was delicious & the chicken and fries were hot when it came out. The sauce on the gyro was very yummy. My boyfriend ordered the Shepard's pie and his friend ordered a cheesesteak with fries. Our waiter was very friendly and catered to everything we needed. I wish I had gotten his name but he had long light hair and in his 20s. We stayed for quite a while, chatting & drinking at our table and he never seemed annoyed, which I have experienced at restaurants in the past. We will certainly be back, as we are staying right across the street. 10/10. read more
