I love the vibes here on Thursdays so let me share a few pointers: -Parking: if you arrive at a decent time before most people you can park in their lot but I don't recommend it because once it gets packed you will probably get blocked in AND it gets super dusty -Food: there is a food truck inside and another outside. I tried the one inside and although it was on the pricier end, the shrimp quesadilla was really good! -Drinks: also can be on the pricier end depending on day. Look at your receipt carefully because they did add 20% gratuity to mine last night. Overall it's a clean and spacious place but once it hits 11ish they will start labeling and adding more tables for sections (booo!) so it gets more crowded. The DJs are so good too. Bathrooms are typically clean. Funny reminder: come ready with bug spray because them TX mosquitoes were OUT! read more

This was my first time going to Maeve, but I will definitely be going back. We were having a Christmas party and at the last minute had to change venues, but the staff handled it wonderfully. The inside/outside feature of Maeve made it perfect and the weather was amazing. We were able to set up and decorate with plenty of time before our party started and the venue complimented the decorations perfectly. The staff that worked our party were quick, efficient, and friendly. Overall, the party was a success and everyone had a great time. I look forward to my next outing at Maeve! read more

So I'll start my review from start to finish of my experience. Parking was a bit chaotic in the lot that's provided. It's not a huge space, so when people are leaving out/trying to park while you're entering the parking lot, it can be a little hard to navigate. Guess what though! At least they provide parking, so that's a plus. There's plenty of street parking as well. When I saw this place online, I pictured a huge venue for some reason. It's really not that big of an indoor space. It was cold out, so I chose to stay inside. For that reason, I had to stand up and dip off into a corner, because all the seats were occupied. No biggie! Didn't feel like sitting down anyway. As the night progressed, I was eventually able to find a seat at the bar. The bar didn't have a drink menu. Not a fan of that. I ordered a French 75 and they had no champagne. Ended up just getting a water. Took it as a sign that maybe I didn't need an "adult" beverage. The water was refreshing. The music?! That was probably my highlight of the night. They had a dj outside that was playing all the good jams. I was singing my heart out the whole night. Busted a couple of dance moves too. Just a couple, not too much lol. Overall, I had a fun experience. If you haven't done so already, you should definitely stop by and check them out. read more

Leaving the Spurs game and looking for something new, my friend suggests we stop at Maeve's. I had no idea where it was but luckily my friend had recently been there, so he was my guide and that was very helpful as the location is not easily seen from the street. The main entrance is behind another building and so you have to park on the side of the building and enter in through the center/middle part of the building. From the outside, the building looks dated but once you come inside it looks like an Ultra Lounge. The bar serves up craft cocktails and the DJ spins the wheels of steel. There is a rear patio that has some cool looking domed cabanas that I want to come try in the summer time. The staff was friendly and the drinks we ordered were well made. I plan on coming back after the next Spurs game now that I know where it's at. If you're in the area you should come check this place out. read more

Incredible new spot in San Antonio. Definitely a one of a kind bar/venue offering unique and delicious cocktails, great curated music and an elevated experience you just can't find anywhere else. They have a bumping sound system powering the djs mix throughout the entire space. The buildout and attention to detail to convert a previously dilapidated building into what it is now is stunning. Also, the food truck on site is offering up some seriously tasty bites and is open late. Big dancefloor outside, great dj booth, great sound. Highly recommend checking it out and definitely try the Under Pressure cocktail. It's one of the best cocktails I've had in SA. read more

What a different spot! If you love EDM, Techno, or House Music, this is your spot! This place has a great vibe! Service is fast and the drinks are strong. It is a very different vibe from a couple of blocks away. I still would highly recommend this bar for the vibe alone! read more

On a Thursday! Waited in line for 30 minutes which was ok. Just to get to the front and the tall bouncer to ask my husband to pay 20 dollars to his cash app or he wouldn't get in. To his cash app!? The scene has a lot of potential. It is gorgeous, and parking is generous, which in SA is a blessing. The drinks were delicious, and the bartender was very passionate on his creations which I love. They were a bit on the pricey side, but it is kind of downtown, so that is very expected. The only reason for the 4 stars is that it was kind of lackluster when it came to the nightlife. I admit the crowd was young, but shy? Not sure how to explain it. It gave off Austin vibes too much (locals will understand this statement). I am in my mid 20s, but I felt like I was too old for this place, which is not a bad thing. It's okay for places to not be your vibe, but this is just as a heads-up for others. read more

Maeve is on another level! I love the music and the flow throughout this venue! Coming from the Caribbean, I feel Maeve is a lounge atmosphere with a posh party vibe, making it feel like you are partying in tropical destination like Tulum or South Florida! There are often DJs from both of those regions headlining on the weekends. The drinks and food concept add to the uniqueness of this venue. Honestly, our experience here the other night was terrible. I heard about this place from a friend and went to go check it out and we were extremely disappointed. We waited a long time for our drinks. I think the bartender, her name was Ashley, was on something because she took a really long time to get to us and kept forgetting our order. We tried to be as patient as possible but after two rounds we closed out and left. We will not be back as long as that bartender is there. read more
