The bar was pretty busy, waited like 10 minutes in line to order our drinks. It was dimly lit with the bar glowing in the background, nice seating. We sat outside to enjoy the cool air. Our bartender was super knowledgeable and friendly, helped my wife find a drink and she throughly enjoyed it! My old fashioned was very good as well, will definitely come back again!

While exploring the neighborhood- and following local recommendations, I stopped by the bar at Hotel Emma. It's a historic spot, originally a brewery back in the 19th century, and you can still see some of the old industrial fixtures they kept as part of the decor. The bar has such a cool ambiance, dim lighting, a cozy vibe, and that feeling like you've stepped back in time. I ordered their signature cocktail, The Three Emmas: a mix of lager beer, rose cordial, amontillado sherry, gin, grapefruit, and lemon. Very unique, slightly smoky, and absolutely delicious. Shoutout to Justin, the bartender who made my drink! It was a little busy inside, so I took it out to their small patio and enjoyed a beautiful evening. Perfect spot for a great cocktail while waiting for your dinner reservation.

We always stop here for a drink Pearl when we're in the area! My favorite drink is a spicy margarita with the Tequila Lalo González! We got one drink that we didn't like and sent it back for another one and that round of drinks was on the house (it's was just two of us)! Great service! Last time we went was on a Friday and they had live music!

Stopped in for a quick drink and to check out the vibe. Located inside the Emma hotel, this bar makes for a cute date night and luxurious plus if you're staying at this fancy hotel. Reserved loft seating for hotel guests only. Chat GPT gave me this option multiple times to come meet and mingle with people and I can definitely tell why. Very intimate space and although this space is good for small groups it seemingly gets crowded very quickly. The lobby was full when I walked in. Overall staff is very friendly and the margarita is a solid choice. I'll be back!

Probably my favorite cocktail bar I've been to in SA. What we ordered: Aperol Spritz ($16) - (4.5/5 stars) - when you've had aperol spritzes in Europe it's hard to compete but Sternewirth did a pretty dang good job. Hugo Spritz ($17) All things considered I thought the pricing on the drinks wasn't half bad - of course if you like $75+ pours of reserve whiskey they have that too. The service was very good with a lively yet not overwhelming ambiance. I will be back for sure!

The Sternewirth Bar is an upscale bar with an industrial aesthetic tucked inside the Hotel Emma. While some of the preferred seating areas are reserved for hotel guests, there are plenty of seats for those who are just visiting the pearl and would like to have a cocktail. While there, we tried the Sticky Rice and the Thai Me River! Both are not drinks that I'd usually order but both were fantastic and very unique. They also offer complimentary spicy peanuts but I'll admit they were much too spicy for me. The service was great, the ambiance was awesome and the drinks were delicious - I'll be back.

I enjoyed this place. Very upscale bar/lounge. It opened at 3pm on Labor Day. I recommend coming here and hearing the story of the 3 Emmas

Great vibe with good drinks and delicious food. There was a wait for the bar as it is crowded on the weekend but worth the wait.

Aesthetically pleasing bar with a huge amount of seating but you're lucky if you find any in this amazing place inside the Hotel Emma. I was told to come here by some friends because I'd love it. I did. Such a classy beautiful part of the gorgeous hotel. You can come to the bar even if you don't stay here which we didn't . Their wine and beer list is big and their cocktail list is quite outstanding ... It takes a hot second to figure out what you' want as the variety makes you want many! The menu is in a pretty leather bound book and a treat to look at. I tried the signature Three Emmas , which comes with a scandalous story of love, betrayal and murder! Loved this drink and the presentation. Glass was amazing ! My friends had the espresso martini and the Carajillo. Both also well made. They also had a couple of other drinks which I can't remember what they were but also good. There's a fantastic atmosphere here and it's a truly busy spot. Reservations are probably wise! It took us a while to find a seating spot. It's dark inside with interesting decor. The bartender could have been nice I thought but the other staff were super nice. Definitely a place you wanna go if looking for a great bar with interesting drinks. The hotel is nice to walk around in too!

Sternewirth Bar is hoppin place on a Friday night. A nice respite from the heat outside at the Pearl. We were fortunate to have friends invite us to the Eagle Rare Bourbon tasting. Sternewirth Bar Lead David Young greeted our small group upstairs and provided champagne to cleanse our palettes. Then he guided us to the Oak Room, a private space away from the loudness of the bar for about 14 people. It was David gave us some history of Eagle Rare and started the tasting. Each of the bourbons was accompanied by excellent food pairings. Sorry, but I was so excited by the bourbon that I forgot to take photos of the food. My favorites were the fried qual and the seared lamb, served medium rare. It was interesting to contrast the flavor profile of the bourbons alone and then after the food pairings. For example, the Eagle Rare 17 year had a slight sweet vermouth note before the lamb and after no longer had that, but had smoother flavors. The Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year was so complex and a great sipper.

The drinks were delicious. The service was a little slow but I guess that should be expected considering it was Fiesta weekend. We were only in town for a wedding and this was a great place to grab a drink before dinner. P.s supposedly it's haunted - would have loved to hear more about that

One of my favorites places I've visited in San Antonio. The bartenders were super helpful with the drink recommendations and shared fun facts on the history of this place.

We stumbled upon this place while walking around the Pearl. I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. The server was nice and super helpful answering our questions and the drinks were absolutely delicious! This is a great spot to bring a date or friends for a chill evening.

Our bartender was awesome and quick to get us our drinks and I must say everything was mixed very well! There is a drink for every drinker here that includes non-alcoholic (NA) drinks as well so don't be shy. If you see something on the menu that calls you get it. Your drinks will be carefully created right in front of you and with the freshest herbs (like lavender and dry fruits) and juices you can find on this side of 281. My friend and I ended up getting a couple of drinks off their seasonal menu. I got a lavender lemonade and she opted for an Aperol spritz cocktail that we took outside to enjoy the sunshine while daydreaming about living inside The Pearl. The amount of history in this building where the Park Bar is located is remarkable and fascinating. It was super cool to be drinking in such a historic building that used to be a bottling department that would bottle the beers back in the day.

We always see this restaurant but have never tried it . They have two different menus and two different seating areas based on the menu you choose. For the Catina style menu you can openly sit at tables near the bar and scan a QR code to Order food and drinks . My oldest daughter had the carne asada tacos, my youngest had the OG barrito, my wife and I both got the Pollo Asada rice bowl. The Asada tacos were served with a salsa that was semi spicy. The meat was very flavorful and is garnished with cilantro . She enjoyed them a lot. The OG barrito is filled with beans, guacamole, and carne asada. It looks more like a large flauta on flour . Upon her first bite she was like "this is good ", she wished it had the Spanish rice inside too. The Rice bowls my wife and I had were very flavorful, the chicken was seasoned well and the rice was cooked just right with an excellent flavor. It also came with avocado on top, beans, and pico.
