Dropped in on a Friday evening with my best friend after seeing this place on Instagram - we planned a date to check it out. The security team set the tone right away; friendly, welcoming, and engaging. Upstairs, we met Pony, a bartender, on the second floor and ended up chatting about our annual trip to Japan. He delivered not only excellent service and refreshing drinks, but also shared helpful tips and advice for our travels. We came for happy hour. I guess we thought it would be more inviting than it was. Great deals no complaints there. Staff was waving us down to pick up drinks when we were not very far away. When informing us that they had some of the ingredients they had been missing to be able to serve the bar snacks. It just didn't seem very friendly. I would still give it one more go because it was one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had. Small seating area for a hot happy hour day. I'm glad we came here for my after-birthday dinner drinks! The drink menu as well as the bar has great options. I went with the Divine Intervention which also came with a coin for The Cabinet of Changes; which is a fun little fortune telling machine. The servers and bar tenders were friendly. When we got there the music wasn't the best but asked to see if we could get the music changed and glad we did because the music definitely got better and enjoyed the evening more. There is a patio as well that we sat out on for a while but came back inside to cool off. This is a great bar to come to if you're in the Pearl area - I'm looking forward to coming back to this spot!! read more

Jue Let is one of the hottest new bars in San Antonio and it's for good reason! Great cocktails, great vibes, and a retro inspired aesthetic that's to die for. (make sure you peep the chicken foot disco ball gracing the ceiling y'all). I'm a whiskey girl and was a big fan of both the "My Denim Jacket" and their take on the "Mint Jue Let." Both are delicious and the Denim Jacket is more spirit forwars if that is your preferred flavor profile. The food menu is on the lighter side...this isn't really one of the places you won't to go to when very hungry but if you're just feeling snacky you're in luck! I've tried a few different items and the Baozone is definitely my favorite and a perfect little savory something to enjoy with your cocktails. AND if you're in the mood to belt your heart out after getting a few cocktails in - make sure to check out one of the karaoke rooms. I had to check out this place and since I was going to a show at the stable hall, it was the perfect time. We arrived to full house. There were people dressed up and some dressed down. You could tell some people were celebrating Christmas events and some people were just walking around and decided to stop by. They have inside and outside seating. They also have a second story. To access the second story you do have to go up the stairs through the outside. I didn't see it, but I was told to have a karaoke remove upstairs. We got lucky and someone had just left, so ended up sitting inside on a comfy couch and chair. We had waiter service at the area we were sitting at. Everyone was super friendly. Everything was super quick as well. They do have some snacks you can buy to go along with your drinks. The also have a full service bar upstairs I had the Chex mix and it was so good that we ordered a second round. It had the best flavor. I had mint jue let. It's a mint julep. It was very strong with a great minty flavor. My friend had the divine intervention. I feel like that it is a great summer drink. Very refreshing and you can choose the spirit you want. The divine intervention does come with a coin that you can use at their cabinet of changes machine. I'm sure that people just get that drink for the coin and I would have too if my friend hadn't given me hers. We loved the upstairs atmosphere and drinks; however the service was awful! The female bar tender upstairs was so rude! She refused to take our groups picture-said she had too many drinks to make-really there were about 10 people upstairs and 6 were in our party! We asked for water twice-the second time she brushed us off and said he will get it-she was getting off! Horrible attitude-gave one in our party a hard time when he was ordering Makers 46-she couldn't understand him and made a huge deal of it-just plain rude! 3 times a charm! I had previously tried to visit this place and each time it was packed and we were told both time it would only be a certain range of time to wait and that wasn't the case. Example once we were told 20 min and it turned out to be 50 minutes we had left at that point. If you're down to wait slay if not there is other places around you can get a good drink. Finally after work I went straight here to avoid the crowd it was packed but found 1 seat at the bar. That was one of the best hours. The bartender was so attentive and answered all my questions about the drinks. I got two cocktails and they were chefs kiss! Strong flavorful and fun! I HATE sweet drinks and both of these drinks were absolutely delicious! Definitely will go back to get them again. The ambiance is loud but vibey, shout-out to whoever did their interior design it's really nice! For my two cocktails plus tip it was $47. We, check out JueLet on international women's day when we were just hanging out at the Pearl. The theme of this place is very 70's esthetic. Rad place to grab a drink they were strong. We had the mint jue let and traditional Makers old fashioned. We got to make our own perfumes and cologne that day which was a really cool experience that was unexpected. I love this place so much. It is a very cool vibe as the lighting and music are perfect. It's the best place just to enjoy socializing with others as well as having an opportunity to book a private karaoke room! The snacks are 10/10 so yummy and so unique I want to try them all!! I brought a girl here in a first date and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other at all. Not the biggest deal but there's so much staff it seems like there should be enough but it still takes too long to get a drink. If you're with a group I could see it not being a big deal but there was plenty of tenders and servers and they weren't involved. One of the female bartenders was also hooking up with a female customer just openly in the back room and I'm not against PDA but it was just indulgent with the place being so busy. I'm sure you'd have a decent time here if your into the nightclub aesthetic but it's hollow and empty. Random drinks and pretty much a lottery of if you might find the right crowd that evening. I mean it was just so loud and the drinks were just decorative ice with minimal alcohol content. There are much better places even within the pearl.
