Small little shop with relatively no line. Has excellent tart Froyo just what I like and service is quick. Flavors and topics are limited so no real customization. Although delicious definitely pricey but worth it. Ended up getting tart ice cream with pistachio/kataifi. Recommend
I know froyo is really having a moment in New York City. I was shopping on the UES and decided to stop at Madison Fare on a sweltering July afternoon. I went with the Pistachio Knafeh @ $15. There was one guy working here and 3 people ahead of me. They all ordered the tart yogurt with raspberry sauce. I thought this was pretty tasty. I thought the pistachio cream and crunchies were a little sparse and for $15 he could have been a little more generous but it was delicious and refreshing and yes, I would return.
Stopped by around 5:30 p.m. on a weekday, and there was no line. It's a small, cute candy shop as well. Ordered the pistachio knafeh froyo. It's a bit on the expensive side for froyo, but it was very tart, rich, and nutty, with a nice crunch.
Stopped by Madison Fare for their froyo with pistachio and knafeh as well as the mango coulis topping. Both were delicious and refreshing in the summer heat. Can't go wrong with either choices.
First time trying one of the hyped froyo places. A friend and I shared the pistachio knafeh, and I thought it was good (mostly because of the toppings) but not amazing. The yogurt was kind of icy. The price ($15) is laughable.
It's a tiny spot, no fuss and loads of an assortment of candies that you can pick and choose with a scooper. There's only 4 people allowed in the store at a time to avoid crowding in the small space. I loved this yogurt. It was too sweet! Even the mango sauce tasted like real mango. I'll be back for a sweet treat that isn't overly indulgent. The attendant was very efficient.
Our second attempt was successful unlike our first when we trekked across Central Park from the west side but the only machine was broken. So it is a small shop that sells frozen yogurt and other snacks. We got the frozen yogurt with mango and the Dubai chocolate. Both were very good. The level of tartness was great. The service was fast as we were the only ones there. Overall it was definitely a good option for froyo!

Good frozen yogurt but I wish they had more options. Personally I like the other viral spots a little more. Portion is huge and shareable which is a plus.

I got the pistachio drizzle as well which was alright, probably would try something else next time. I went on a Sunday evening on a colder day and waited maybe 10 minutes. They didn't have all their toppings available. Overall, good but definitely on the pricier side.
Back for the FroYo that's getting lots of social media attention. The store's products have changed significantly since I was last there in January. As opposed to specialty foods it's mostly candy that is sold now. They did seem to have a lot of great options! I didn't notice how much they charge. They only had plain and the pistachio knafeh FroYo available yesterday. Luckily we all wanted the pistachio. Loved the pistachio and knafeh. The FroYo tastes like yogurt so there's a tartness to it. My friends thought it was delicious but not for me (personal preference no reflection on store!). Glad I tried it but for $14.99 not something I'll have again. I'll wait to go back for the hot chocolate.
delicious treat on a warm day! i got the plain yogurt with raspberry and chocolate sauce. the perfect mix of tart and slightly sweet because of the chocolate. i will come back again and again! $10 all in for a nice amount of yogurt and sauces. fyi, it's a tiny spot and they only let a few people in at once. staff was lovely. read more
I was prepared for this to be overhyped but .... Alas....it hit - it also hit my bank account. idk why it's like $15 for frozen yogurt with the pistachio topping... oh right it's bc you can't get the pistachio topping without doing the whole Dubai sundae shabang - the serving was plentiful, I'll give them that! the frozen yogurt has the tartness kick that Greek froyo should have while maintaining a sweetness that allows it to feel like a dessert, not a punishment. - the texture was perfectly smooth like a ice cream truck soft serve while maintaining a serious thickness. the thickness prevented it from melting fast and allowed for me to craft a perfect topping to yogurt ratio bite each time. read more

Some of the best froyo in the city! They're known for the Dubai chocolate froyo, but i honestly just like the plain (either with fruit or without). The yogurt alone is so rich, creamy, and tart. I love frozen yogurt, and this place is so good that I even get it on a below freezing day. My fingers might be frozen, but my stomach is happy! Worth it. Cute shop too, I like their collection of tinned fish. Employees are always super friendly and helpful. read more

Worth the hype. What a sweet guy that works here, genuinely nice and full of energy. A boat load of school kids piled in for afternoon snacks! They have raspberry topping and the pistachio. Simple choices. Very good. read more
The internet brought me to this shop on a Tuesday off, to avoid any lines. There wasn't a line but unfortunately the Kanafe Frozen Yogurt option wasn't available until a new delivery of ingredients on Friday (not sure if this is the general offering during the weekday, since I'm assuming they sell out of everything by Sunday afternoon). Would recommend calling or sending them a DM. The prices are now are $14.99 for that, $9.99 for a plain frozen yogurt, other add-on pricing for fruit toppings, Ferrero Rocher sundae. I bought about 10 small pieces of gummy candies, I think a lot of them are Swedish. Bubby's, a strawberry and cream, one which was nice, a peach slice, an extra sour raspberry piece, a fried egg! It's nice that you can mix & match but for the tiny amount, I paid $4 by weight. Some of the candies were a little bit hard & stuck together in the containers. Maybe the containers aren't very airtight. The shop is a nice idea, a lot of kids were getting out of school from up the Avenue at the time. But it feels half finished - the shelves are slightly stocked with pantry items and international ingredients, feels like a bit of filler items. Or maybe they sold things from the weekend? The shelves are handbuilt & painted. The frozen yogurt machines are 2 little machines up at the front of the store. It feels like a space that the owners experiment with different things for sale. The cost of rent in that area must be really hard, so understand the high price points. Glad that they have good reviews about the quality of their frozen yogurt, but not sure if I would travel back for it. read more

Very tasty froyo! Came here after Glace- both are superb. The froyo is so creamy- not at all icy. No complaints! I will definitely be coming back to try more flavors! I have also heard the hot chocolate is good! read more

Salted Caramel Crunch I believe is what it was called? Not sure why this is so expensive honestly because the station the guy was working from was not clean and messy. The store seemed like a lifeless candy store with nothing too exciting about the ice cream experience. I only got this flavor because the Dubai Chocolate flavor was $15 and I was going to dinner right after this. I don't recommend this place unfortunately. read more
Pretty amazing froyo. High quality but i personally prefer it more tart like pin berry. the Dubai topping was exceptional. Best dubai version of anything i've tried. the knafeh was crunchy and had an amazing texture. The price for a small froyo was very high but im glad i tried. I wouldn't get again due to how far away it is and the price point but something fun to try out for sure. read more

I've definitely had cheaper fro yo, but it is probably some of the best frozen yogurt I've had! It's very tart and creamy, which pairs nicely with the crunch knefah and pistachio. The downside is that they can be a little frugal with the pistachio so it didn't quite seem worth the price... but certainly worth experiencing at least once! Next time I might try some of their fruity options. The line comes and goes in waves, and we fortunately caught a time without a line! read more

A viral froyo spot tucked into a candy shop -- it's a bit overpriced, but definitely worth sharing with friends since the portions are large. It's a short hop over from Central Park, so recommend walking over to enjoy it there. The Pistachio Knafeh and Ferraro were both fantastic -- the Greek yoghurt was a bit more tart (but so rich and creamy) and there were crunchy bits for texture. read more

The Frozen Yogurts were definitely worth the hype and the wait! They still have a long way to go to build a good system though. They were taking their time to serve people. I had gotten my chocolate and strawberry one but then the server left to go help out at the counter. And then by the time I got the pistachio one, the others were melting a lot. They do a great job of putting the flavors and toppings in! I love that they had the fillings in between the froyo. It is definitely very expensive but a good treat to share with someone since the size is big. read more

Madison Fare may be my new favorite place. They are a store that sells gifts, provisions and sweets. They have this greek frozen yogurt which is delicious. Different days they have different toppings. I got a strawberry puree one yesterday and got just a regular one today. Such a great breakfast, lunch, snack or even dessert. The workers here are extremely nice and helpful. It is a small store but they have plenty of different items in it. In the middle they have an area with jars filled with different candies that some or all are from Sweden. If you are ever in the area this is a must go to even just to look around. read more
They're really capitalizing on the hype because the famous pistachio knafeh frozen yogurt is now ~$15 (!!!) instead of the previous $12. Is it worth it? Probably once to try it. The pistachio syrup and knafeh spread was delicious. I haven't had pistachio with tart, yogurt flavors before (only with vanilla and more creamy flavors), but it was surprisingly delicious. The tartness of the frozen yogurt really cut through the sweetness of the pistachio, and every bite had a little bit of both. The froyo itself has the perfect amount of tart and tang, so much that I think a fruit flavored froyo would taste better than the pistachio. But regardless, despite the outrageous increase in price, I really enjoyed eating this parfait. read more

I just had to come here to try the famous Pistachio knafeh frozen yogurt, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. It was a bit more expensive than I expected though-$15. However, I felt that the quality of the frozen yogurt was very good and the pistachio topping was just delicious; I probably could have eaten a whole cup of just that by itself! I typically don't love tarte frozen yogurt, but this yogurt was just the perfect texture and so fresh tasting-that I really did enjoy it! I also bought a few gummy and sour candies while I was here, and those were also yummy! Definitely is on the expensive side, but its a nice treat for a delicacy like the products that are served here! read more
