My exchange was handled professionally and timely.

It was a smaller, but very nice store with a lot of offerings that couldn't be found elsewhere. I loved to shop here when my kids were young, and I knew I could always find an upscale outfit for myself when I needed. However, the selection seems to have started going downhill after the Hudson Bay acquisition in 2013. Every time I went in, there seemed to be fewer and fewer products and more open space. I think they tried to pass it off as more open space made it feel more boutique and more refined. I say it just made the store quicker to shop. The one exception was probably the Louis Vuitton shop. I don't know if it was actually independently operating within Saks or still a part of it, but it did always seem better staffed with a much better inventory than the rest of the store. My last visit was before the 2025 holidays. I went expecting to see much more inventory for the season. Instead, it was very sparse, and it didn't look like there was any more in there than at the end of a season with a few sale racks and not a lot of new merchandise. Sadly, it was announced (2/10/26) that this location will be closing along with several more under some bankruptcy/reorganization of the parent company.

That I had been out looking for a lost foster dog the reason I looked so casual but I assured him I could pay whatever their prices were. I wanted to put my previous encounter behind me and see if that jerk was still there. Unfortunately, Jos A. Banks is where a dear friend of mine buys his clothes and I heard his reminder in my head as I stood at the door with my hand reaching out to the door. Update 4/1/14 I have not been able to wear the three slacks I purchased & had tailored here…read morebecause the belt loop for the slacks are too narrow for any belt. Brought them back to see if there was any way I adjust the belt loop & I was told to get a smaller belt. No other offer to help in any way was extended. Reason I got the boys size is because I don't fit into the men's size for #BrooksBrothers so the sales consultant was kind enough to find slacks from the boys department for me. I thought they would help somehow with a goodwill gesture if I bought additional slacks to replace these but I think I have too high expectations for this place. Good news though - some homeless chap in Birmingham, AL will be strutting some decent slacks around town.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. My friend was looking for jeans for his daughter and one of the employees saw him looking for the right area. She took him to another area and found the sizes and styles that would work (be allowed) at school. Her help was awesome and she even checked to make sure that they fit and that she liked them. Once they got a size that worked she went and helped them get some additional jeans. Seriously 5 star performance from this employee. Three stars is primarily based on not necessarily having anything that I was interested in and the tight quarters. But, I would return and check them out again when I'm in the mall.

They tend to have off season items at up to 75% off which is great if you can find your size. This location also seems to have the most items in terms of variety and selection whereas at the other two locations you will often see each t-shirt in only one size left and no more in the back. Associates are always helpful here too.
