I'm a sucker for all of the bold, vibrant colors. I ended up finding two blouses and tried on a dress that just didn't quite work out. But it was gorgeous! I was happy to see they had a decent selection of items that are 100% cotton or linen. Some items are much more pricey than others, but for the most part everything is reasonably priced. The staff was sweet too. They helped me find the right fit on for one of the blouses and were helping everyone in store with outfit ideas. I can't wait to go back and see what else I may find. I've never had them to offer to start a dressing room for me or to ask if I needed anything like pull me another size I needed. I have just never felt welcome or inviting in that store. I went to Chicos a couple of days ago to return some items with a friend. They were having sale, up to 75$ off the more you buy up to 200$. I looked around and found a shirt with earrings and a necklace. They came to about 175$ so I looked for some other jewelry to go a little over the 200$ mark. When I went up there to pay they said I was about 20$ short so I picked something else out and then I was over 40$. I was confused and they tried to explain but it still wasn't adding up. I asked them to just put the clothes on the desk in front so I could add it up myself on paper with my calculator. At about that time my friend who didn't shop here at all was asking them why they were taking off a discount off before the taxes and she asked why (it was a discount for being a member ). They told her that "If she had shopped there more she would know why". Then one (out of two) of the sales associate said to me "There's no more wheelin' and dealin'n to be made. You either take it as is or leave it". So we both looked at each other and left. When we were outside I called their customer service # to tell them what happened. It's only about three of them, whom the manager is one of, them and I've only seen one other person working there before. It is a small store and you'd think they would be nice to everyone to increase sales but they don't. They've talked about me behind my back and have either ignored me or told me they would help me in a minute while talking to another associate but it would be a while or forgotten all together. Nevertheless I would not recommend this store to anyone!
