The very definition of a hidden gem. Tucked just around the corner from the streetcars, but deserves to be front and center. Everyone should know about this place. Small but mighty footprint, and great aesthetic inside. Menu is simple but effective. The coffee is excellent and the breakfast sandwiches are huge and so delicious!

Maderite is in the corner unit of a kensington stacked townhome, across the street from T western hospital and in sight of the ambulances. It's a small restaurant with a retro Kubrick aesthetic of wood panels, clean stainless steel, and coke classic. 2 window booths and some bar seating inside, plus more tables outside. They have small timed menus for brekkie and lunch. I came for the breakfast sandwich avail 8am-noon. B for bacon S for sausage M for mortedella With Egg and Cheese on a big kaiser bun. Cheese is melted and sauce is kinda subtle honey mustard hotsauce. Not spicy but there are hot sauce condiments available. This is a big brekkie sandy for 12$, a delicious 10/10. Also got the banana choco cookie which was chewy with crisp edges. The perfect cookie. I regretted not getting the black banana bread. The baked stuff is made on site daily. It got packed in there with an order line going outside before noon. You can watch the crew crank out fresh hot sandwiches made rite... right... perfectly. PS. 1hr parking on some streets but read the signs carefully cuz it is different on every block.

It was ok. It took 30 min to get 2 sandwiches (they did tell us it would be 20min before). The place was super nice, clean and very ambient. The workers were super nice and if you sit outside they bring you the sandwich. The sandwich itself was ok. In my opinion they add too much ketchup (and it's the only sauce in it i believe). The bread was super nice and fluffy. I think it's a reliable sandwich and the size is worth the price but it's not mind blowing or anything new (I am a tough breakfast sandwich critic!)

Made Rite Coffee is the newest coffee shop near Bathurst/Dundas serving coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Located somewhat hidden at the corner of Wales and Leonard, this place has both indoor and outdoor seating (lots of outdoor seating!). The interior of the cafe screams retro and gives off super chill and relaxing vibes. Made Rite Coffee also offers a variety of food and beverage items. I've already visited them a few times since they opened recently. Coffee is great and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing (and portions are huge as well!). Staff are friendly as well. Will definitely be returning for more coffee and sandwiches !!

A very nostalgic and retro cafe, you instantly feel transported to another era where chrome furniture takes over. The flat white was perfect and I also tried a tuna sandwich which felt like a throwback to a childhood picnic. Definitely worth checking out.

Went there today and I had such a good experience! The atmosphere of the spot is super cute and different. We were because they stopped serving breakfast at 11 - we feel breakfast should be served until 2pm every day but that's just us. I did get the iced London fog which was super special- they use an in house vanilla bean paste which gave the London fog a dreamy taste. I then got the BLT which was also delicious. Seasoned well and stacked nicely. Would def rec for a quick bite & fun ambiance!

Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that. If you need some breakfast in the Queen/Spadina area, this is the place to go!

I also had bacon and scrambled eggs and that was a nice touch with everything. The mix of sweet and savory just worked. Portions are solid and the food came out fresh. I would definitely come back.
