Nice "Made In Washington" shop located in Pike Place Market that reminds me very much of the Made In Michigan stores I frequent back home. You will find a nice large selection of locally roasted coffee beans, tea's, smoked Salmon products, some craft/artworks, snacks, linen products, cocktail bitters, etc.... If you are looking to pick up something local that are not the typical touristy stuff than you should definitely check this cute store out when in Pike Place Market. Also note they had free samples of coffee and tea out that will definitely tempt you further if you drop by this establishment read more

Great shop in Pike Place for those who want to take home souvenirs or for general gifting that are more personalized than the usual mass-produced overseas mugs and such in gift shops. They have consumables (salmon, coffee, tea, chocolate, etc) as well as shirts, art, posters, and such. They even have artisan hand-blown glass ornaments (throwback to the Museum of Glass). The shop is decently sized so there's a lot of things to choose from. If you're running low on luggage space or buying something delicate, they will package and ship things to your door! So thoughtful. The workers are pretty friendly despite being inundated with guests. They sometimes have featured beverage samples of coffee or tea so you can try before you commit to buying a whole bag of stuff. read more

Made in Washington is a Pike Place store that carries all sorts of artisan items made in the state of Washington. They were open early, and I was able to enjoy the different tinned and packaged salmon they had, as well as the different salts and rubs. The service was extremely friendly and helpful and I would absolutely return in a heartbeat! read more

I popped into this store after trying the chowder next door. I enjoyed browsing the assortment of Washington gifts and grub that they sold. They had a nice assortment of candles, chocolate, coffee, and much more. An employee also invited me to sample some tea or coffee that they had available. Nice variety and friendly staff set this place apart. read more

This is a pretty cute store offering "local" items located within Pike Place market. They have plenty of other locations located within malls around the area. Their prices are high in comparison to the products they sell. In other words, the items are of low value. However, if you are looking to gift someone something that is "local", this may be your best option. I do recommend searching for the item on Amazon or at a local Fred Meyer first, because they sometimes have it there were well for cheaper. read more

I just love this store! Located in Pike Street Market, down Post Alley, this is one of the best places if you are looking for quick, easy souvenirs - that are still local products! Obviously, with the location there seems to be an upcharge - but I'm glad to pay for the convenience of having so much variety in one spot. You can get everything from art, bags, candle, chocolate, tea and coffee, bbq seasons, cocktail mixes, smoked salmon, and more. read more

Our company purchases holiday gift boxes filled with WA state goodies for customers each year and Made in Washington makes the process so easy! I placed my order online (with the help of Sunni in customer service) and the entire process was quick and painless. They ran out of a few items after I paid but were quick to offer similar options. Word of advice...be sure to place your order around Thanksgiving for best selection. Payment was easy and done online. My contact followed up with UPS tracking numbers and sent me a final receipt. This will be my corporate gift giving option from here on out! read more

"Made in Washington" is one of the stores that I often send out-of-town guests or people seeking locally made products. They are the one-stop-shop for a wide selection of non-food and food products. Their selections are high quality across the board. From ready-to-travel salmon packs, Market Spice teas/coffees/spices, Seattle Chocolates, etc. to hand-blown glass Christmas globes, "Hello Chalo" travel and lifestyle gift items, and custom art gift ware that are unique. My favorite is a selection of items (bags, coasters, tea towel, etc.) that are re-imagined from Van Gogh's Starry Night to include the Seattle Skyline. It's quite creative. They also offer a flat shipping rate of $4.95. It's an inexpensive way to ship gifts or get all your purchases home without packing them into your luggage. read more

Located in the Pike Street market area, this is a shop that carries cute items all made in Washington (hence the name). We picked up some candles - a Fresh Coffee and a White Tea candle made by local artist Kelli Marie Design and will light them up to remember out trip to Seattle =) read more

I loved this store. The sales associate was very friendly and accommodating. The store is filled with of locally made and locally inspired items that are fun and unique. There was lots of hand blown glass, housewares, smoked salmon, specialty foods, spices, wine and typical tourist items. They also had a beautiful selection of items that you can put together to create a custom gift basket. They were running a $4.99 shipping special that included an unlimited amount of items. It is a nice option for people who are traveling and do not want to pack purchases in their luggage. read more

this was such a cute little shop! I like that Seattle is full of shops like this gives you a lot of variety when you wanna pick gifts out for people. We got a bunch of coffee got take home and we sampled some amazing tea! The lady helping us was super nice and friendly, giving us recommendations for everything. Overall, 10 out of 10 experience I think everybody should stop by this spot! read more

This store is perfect for scooping up souvenirs for your family and friends. I found magnets, postcards, stickers, chocolate, wallets, etc. It made it easy to buy everything at once instead of looking at multiple shops around Pike Place. There was one worker at the time and she was very helpful and gave good recommendations when it came to picking out gifts. I brought back plenty of Mint Chip Truffle bars and they were a hit! read more

They have a cute selection of souvenirs, chocolates and snacks the cashier says were all made by Washington businesses and residents, hence the store name "Made in Washington". It's always good to support local businesses and the local economy. The staff here was great and the lady who helped me was so kind and informative. I can't speak for the chocolates and souvenirs there, what I really liked and bought several of were the dog buttons that support the local animal shelter. If I could, I would've bought all of them but I had to narrow it down to four and I chose the ones that reminded me most of my sweet dog. read more

Made in Washington is a great store selling local items, and is especially nice for gift-shopping for out-of-towners. I visited this Made in Washington store to check out what new items they had, as it always seems there's something new. This location is located in Post Alley in Pike Place Market, and it gets packed since it's in a prime tourist location. Space isn't as spacious as other locations, but they have a good amount of various items that are sure to make someone happy. There are a ton of items, ranging from food and wine, to handmade glass-blown items and customized baskets that you can create. Therefore, there's a price point for everyone. What's especially nice is that they can do the shipping for you, which is super convenient. Made in Washington is a great store to visit, especially if you need a gift for someone not in the area. read more

Another shop that you would not want to miss when you are around Pike. This place was renovated and the lighting is so much better. They have a lot of souvenirs, gift items, chocolates, nuts, tea, smoked salmon to offer that you can't find in any other stores. Looking for locally made products that are fancy and pricey? This is the place to go. read more

Stopped in for a Caramel Macchiato and a Cherry Italian Soda. Boy did it not disappoint! They were both super yummy. The barista was very friendly and explained how she was new. Both drinks certainly did not taste like she was new. They were creamy and full of flavor. This place is off the beaten path at the market but is a must stop by! Not to mention, if you're a chocolate lover, this is the place. They sell handmade chocolates. read more

The perfect shop for all your Seattle tourist souvenir needs! Located at Pike Place Market on Post Alley. It's right across the Pike Place Chowder. I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews because I loved this shop! I stopped by multiple times on our visit just to get "Seattle Chocolates" (brand) which is sold in bars, individually wrapped, and packaged individually wrapped pieces for gifts. These chocolates are SO GOOD and everyone I gifted them to loved them! I regret not buying more! There are so many different, unique flavors to try. Buying the small individual ones are a good way to try them all. One small piece is 45 cents, bars are about $4-5. On top of the Seattle chocolates, there's Washington coffee (of course), teas, beer, wine, post cards, salmon, glass art, bath and body products. I really enjoyed browsing the huge selection of Washington exclusive gifts! I think it's around $5 to ship whatever you buy! Unfortunately alcohol isn't allowed to be shipped. Encountered welcoming, friendly customer service during each visit! This is definitely a must visit if you're looking to purchase souvenirs! read more

They sure do have everything made in Washington - food that is. LOL. Rather than running around Washington to find everything in Washington, just come here! But, this store has tons of yummy items from the well known Rub with Love and Beecher's to lesser known popcorns and jams. Basically, anything you want to snack on made in Washington, you can find here! Yes, it is more expensive for snacks than buying them at the original location, but the way I see it, you are paying for the convenience. Samples! Woo..tea samples! Seattle Snack Attack!!!! If I were renaming the store, this would be my pick. read more

The products from this company are good. The customer service is not. I placed an order on a Friday and saw three shipping options, Overnight, 2-Day Express or Standard. I selected overnight and paid $34.99 for the expedited shipping. After I completed the transaction, I saw that the order would not be delivered until the following Tuesday. I tried contacting customer service but no one was available on the weekend. When I got a reply today (Tuesday), the person told me that overnight shipping only applies Monday-Friday. Why wasn't I told that at checkout? Why did the company accept an overnight shipping fee of $34.99 if they could not deliver my order on the weekend? The explanation about overnight shipping restrictions should have been given when I checked out and paid for my order. No such information was provided to me at that time. I won't do business with this company again. read more

THE BEST!!! My husband walked in and ordered 4 Seattle wine glasses to be shipped to us in CA. This fun store within Pike Place Market is always a must-visit for me, especially when I'm looking for souvenirs to take home for friends and family. I don't usually buy a whole ton from this store, but it's always good to see what sales they have, in addition to their great variety of popular Seattle treats. Whether you're looking for coffee, some of Tom Douglas' famous rubs, Chukar Cherries or Seattle Chocolates, this is the place to go. You can find Seattle Chocolates at some of the other stores/gift shops (as well as their original chocolate store), but in case you can't make it to the flagship store, this is a good spot to pick up some of those chocolate bars. Their signature dark chocolate sea salt bar is one of my favorites. This store is definitely worth visiting if you're from out of town. And yes, if you plan on going to Pike Place Chowder, jump in line around 10:40 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. ... from the Made in Washington store, you'll soon see the line grow exponentially. Here are some of my favorite treats from here: Honey-Roasted Chocolate Almonds: This is the best-selling non-cherry item from Chukar Cherries, and if I realized how good they would be, I would have bought more than one bag during my visit. I like almonds to begin with, but once they're covered in chocolate and honey ... man, these are like next-level almonds. The bags are rather petite, but they're pretty pricy at $10.50 each. Yet, I thought nothing of getting another one once I broke into my bag. I loved the chocolate-honey coating, and the almonds are dusted with powdered sugar to make them even more appealing. If you don't like cherries (like me), this is definitely a tasty, addictive alternative. After getting these, I seriously even looked into buying more online ... Seattle Chocolates: I've tasted a lot of chocolates, and I LOVE chocolate. But Seattle Chocolates are definitely one of the bests I've had. I bought several of these bars, and it was hard to determine which I liked most. Their best seller (the one with sea salt and toffee) is definitely worth getting, if you've never had these chocolates before. It's the perfect sweet/slightly salty/slightly smoky mix. As much as I love luscious, rich chocolate, I also really enjoy the slightly salty aftertaste. Some of my other favorites include the espresso bar (great medley of chocolate and coffee) and the peanut butter one. I love strong, creamy peanut butter flavors, so this hit the spot. Seattle Coffee: I like how this store has packets of coffee, so if you want to sample this brand, you don't have to commit to buying a huge package of coffee. The little "sampler" bag is great too for giving to friends and family as souvenirs. I'm also partial to the free samples they give in the store of this coffee; it gives you a chance to taste it and see if you like it. read more

I wandered through the Pike Place location in early December while on a typical tourist stroll. There's a nice assortment of merchandise from Washington but that's only a small part of what impressed me about this store. The staff was really pleasant and helpful. And when I found something I wanted but couldn't fit into my luggage, they made it really easy to get my new toys home. In fact, my purchases were waiting for me when I returned home to Chicago. Opening the package dispelled my last fear - the breakables I purchased were carefully packed and arrived intact. They did such a good job that I just ordered another item as a gift to be delivered to a friend. Nice job! read more

I placed several online orders this year and an item was broken in one of the gift baskets. I contacted customer service via email, received a response within 24 hours notifying me a replacement would be sent right away. Excellent, what great service. However, the best part came when I received a personalized note in the mail, thanking me for my business and apologizing for the issue. That is the type of extra that earns customers for life. read more

Their Westlake Center location is much better. It's too hot in there (no A/C) and the selection of items they have is limited compared to their other store. They need to invest in an A/C. It's a good place to buy a Washington themed gift for yourself or someone else. read more

I first saw this place while on line for chowder. The best part of this store is that they'll ship almost anything you buy anywhere in the US for a flat rate of $4.99. That promotion definitely worked, as it made me just stock up on souvenirs to send home instead of having to deal with storing them in my luggage and hoping they didn't break. They have a ton of magnets, cups, shirts, sauces, coffee, candies/sweets, and even smoked salmon. Lady at the counter was nice as can be, and my order on Friday was shipped out the following Monday via FedEx. read more

I've lived in Washington for a few years now and can vouch that all the brands and merchandise here are from famous, high quality, local artists and businesses. Great products that would make wonderful gifts, but there are no prices on most items, so you have to ask one by one. Its a pain in the butt and kind of embarrassing to have to constantly ask and then feel self conscious about how annoying you're being or how price sensitive you are. Please put prices on things! read more

Excellent service, and a wide variety of deelish smoked salmon.

Went in here for directions and ended up spending money on gifts. The owner (I presume) is very kind. The only word i can think of to describe the top-notch service and assistance at this lovely little treasure in Pike Place Market is "Phenomenal!" I had a snafuu at work that could not be corrected by the original vendor - and had a matter of an hour to correct the mistake. I rushed to Made In Washington and their team was not only happy to take on a last minute challenge, they smiled the entire time, added some bonuses for good measure and made the entire 20 minutes I was in there rushing around seem very calm and comfortable. They are usually my "go to" place for gift baskets, but after today's representation of quality and service - THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE for Seattle's Best Gift baskets! read more
