My best friend recently pointed this place out. The mornings can be very busy so if you want to go, make sure you get in early enough to where they don't sell out of certain breakfast items or get there late enough that you beet the morning rush. They were very accommodating for coming up with a healthy meal for my 1 year old son and they are vegetarian friendly. The veggies in our sandwiches were amazingly fresh. The egg sandwhich came with more than just egg which was a pleasant surprise. Food came out fresh as it was prepared. Service was good. Before tip, our combined bill came to $14. read more

Been going here for years...price is great. Service is fast as it is small restaurant and always busy. Pat the owner is friendly and goes out of her way to remember her customers names. Food is fantastic. I usually go for the breakfast, or at lunch the laksa soup and salad rolls. So delicious. Mouth is watering for the laksa now..will be heading there for lunch later today I think. :) read more

I'm giving a 3.5 just because the Laksa soup is very flavorful, but all of the chili oil (I think it's chili oil) is off-putting. I ordered ahead, and the lady was very nice, and the service is bang on. I took my lunch to go, as it's very close to my office. I was so hungry I didn't take any pics to show ya'll what I mean by the chili oil. I ordered the regular size bowl with the noodles on the side. I think it was just difficult to eat with the little take out spoon and oil getting everywhere. I do recommend this place though for anyone who likes homestyle Asian food. I will go back, for the curry chicken, that is next on my list. They have quite a bit of selection and it is family owned which I'm always down to support. read more

We have laksa and curry chicken. The laksa is especially authentic Malaysian style. Love it love it love it.

I stopped in at this place for breakfast and was amazed to see how cheap I could get a tasty simple breakfast. Standard eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast, but two things push it over the edge. One, the $6.50 price tag includes orange juice. Two, the exceptionally tasty mango jam/sauce served with the toast. I'm not much for sweet flavours, but it was delicious. read more

If you are looking or a great breakfast for the same cost of a Starbucks Latte you can't beat the French Toast and Mango Jam at the Mad Mango. The staff is always happy and the owner Pat is one of the nicest people in town. read more

I used Skip the Dishes to order a sweet and sour pork dish and paid extra for more pork and veggies. They did not give me extra pork or veggies. Was very disappointed. read more

I have come here twice now for there $5 veggie curry bowl and $3.50 spring rolls. This place is pretty much a hole in the wall, very asian style fast food. Service is good. Menus are simple and scattered with differences up on the wall and 'specials' that don't change. You can order at the counter or get sit down service if you can find a seat. It's pretty busy here. read more

Decent Laksa, but I have had a lot better. The price is hard to beat for a cheap eat out though. It is an incredibly popular spot with locals with often wait times. Maybe we just didn't catch them on a good day. read more

Great little spot. Really good prices. Offers a variety of soups with nice, fresh vegetables. I think the owners are Malaysian but it's a typical Kelowna 'fusion' place. I ordered "Richard's Special" - a coconutty-curry-ey soup with won tons in it. You can ask for it mild if you can't take the heat. It was great and at 7$ I will for sure come back again. They also offer smoothies and juices, salad rolls and rice dishes. read more

Great place to grab lunch, especially on a budget.I tend to stick with the Vietnamese fare-vermicelli salad and pho. Definitely worth the pennies you spend! read more

Visiting from Vancouver after driving all morning. This place hit the spot. Family owned restaurant with great service. Get the laksa! Tons of flavor. read more

Absolutely the best value in Kelowna. The food is great, staff is spot on, and Pat always takes care of everyone. Love the regular breakfast, the laksa is so awesome, and the rolls are always fresh. Milkshakes are a must. It is small and busy because its so good so avoid lunch hour for sure. Best time is late afternoon if you want to book off work early! read more

Affordable and delicious. This little family-run restaurant is one of my favorites in Kelowna. It's usually too busy in there to enjoy sitting down, but the great food makes up for this little complaint. read more

This is an excellent place to eat for the food is great, the service is fast, and the place always seems to be bustling. I order the large seafood soup and was very pleasantly surprised by the mix of flavors and the abundance of seafood. Judging by the conversations it seems that this is a favorite place with the locals. I will definitely go back. read more

Pretty good food! Had the laksa soup and fresh spring rolls. Shareable portions, springs rolls were really fresh. Soup had an amazing flavored with a kick to it. Would come back read more

Delicious.... from the moment you walk inside. There is comport here. The menu was incredible. I've never tasted such fresh produce. The staff is amazing and, very knowledgable of the food that is prepared in the café. Please give the Mad Mango Cafe a try. You will love it! read more

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker after I moved to Kelowna. The first time I walked in, I was quite skeptical given low-end appearance. HOWEVER, the food was fabulous and the services was great! I've been back three times and I haven't been disappointed. I recommend the Chicken Curry!! read more

Small place but the food is really good. We ordered laksa and smoothie, both are delicious.

Love this place, the laksa is incredible and salad rolls are a perfect pair to go with it... Not to mention their mango jam is or should be world famous. One of the best lunch spots in town, but don't get discouraged with a long line up, you'll be seated quicker than you'd expect read more

Great food, solid service, and reasonable prices. If you're looking for a quick greasy spoon this is your place.

I've gotten the salad rolls here a dozen times they are a buck a piece and very tasty for a lite lunch, I got a noodle soup of some kind once to mix things up but it was uuber spicy and did not have very much meat. It's always packed in there so you know it's good. If you ever see the coconut rolls in the front case TRY THEM. They are so good but they don't make them very often. read more

Love this little hole in the wall! It's a cute place, with great service, delicious and inexpensive food. Definitely great value!

Not authentic Asian food, but probably the closest you''ll get in Kelowna. It is always packed with people

Make sure you try the green onion cakes! The only time I don't have them, is if they've already run out. I have been going to Mad Mango ever since I moved to the Okanagan and it is always a great experience. Very friendly and fast service - always busy, so you may have to wait for a table, but worth the wait. Food is always fresh, fast & delicious. Price is really reasonable, bill per person averages $10-$15 for us (including drink and appetizer). I would highly recommend to any Vancouverite feeling a bit of homesickness. Need more of these fantastically run family cafés! read more

Awesome food. Fast service at lunch with Great prices. Big bonus for having green onion cakes. Will return for sure.

LOVE Mad Mango. My favorite lunch spot in Kelowna. This lovely hole in the wall has the best curry. Very inexpensive, quick service and amazing food. read more

Their laksa is phenomenal! I've never had anything like it. I find myself always craving Mad Mango's laksa! Their seafood salad rolls with the peanut sauce is incredible as well. Definitely try the laksa and salad rolls together - they go perfect as a pair! Everything is so well priced and delicious. The restaurant is small, but it is comforting and homey. I usually go for take-out just because I am on the run or picking up a bowl of laksa after work, but I have enjoyed my stay inside the restaurant a few times. Every time I head down there, they are 9/10 times busy as hell, but they handle it very well. The staff are very organized and seem to have a great system working out for them. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The owner is the sweetest! Mad Mango is definitely a personal and Kelowna favourite! read more

Love it. It's always busy and chaotic, but the food is cheap and tasty. Laksa is a spicy soup there that is awesome and breakfasts are good as well. Buy a milkshake. read more

Best local food in Kelowna. Definitely recommend the laksa and salad rolls. For the price Mad Mango cannot be beat!

Great food! Good prices and friendly staff! Chicken satay combo with coconut rice and cucumbers Make sure to come early for a table. It seems to always be busy when we drive by read more

This is Kelowna must eat. The laksa soup is excellent, as is the spring rolls and peanut sauce. The value is excellent, you get a lot of food for very little. Unfortunately, lunch is extremely busy and seating is hard to find. I would recommend ordering takeout - over the phone or at the counter - and then taking away to stuart park or by the water on the beach or in city park. read more

I had both laksa and beef curry. They were both good. Price is right and service was good.

My boyfriend and I visit Mad Mango at least once a week for the famous laksa soup. It's amazing and we are more than happily satisfied every time we go. I can only speak for the one dish, but it is delicious and well priced. The restaurant does get very busy during the lunch hour(s), so be prepared to wait a little for a table. It's worth it the wait! Pat, the owner, is so adorable and we love hearing her cute laugh. I highly recommend! read more

If you are looking for perfection, quality and value look no further. As visitors we were brought here by a local friend who said it would be special.....he was right! Every previous positive review is an accurate reflection ...great but a very busy lunch venue! read more

Extremely good. The service was super fast and the food came with in 10min of ordering. I would definitely come here if you're looking for a good fast meal. read more

Very busy and unorganized restaurant. Only come back for the tasty food. I feel like expanding or organizing this place would make everyone more comfortable. Last time I was here I was tucked into a place right beside the door and everyone who came in would accidentally bump me. Again the food was great, not so much the atmosphere. read more

I eat here on a weekly basis. Chicken Laksa Soup is my go-to. A healthy option that takes only minutes to order and take out.

Best war wonton in town!! Good flavoured fare for a decent price. Awesome place for lunch or breakfast!! Portions aren't skimpy either.

Soooo good. And so popular and busy. Despite how busy it was everyone was super nice and the order came quickly. They also ask if you want to pay now or later. I don't know how they can manage that in such a busy place....I would insist on payment up front if I worked there! Anyway, the food selection is amazing. All my favourite soups in one place. We had the war wonton and were not disappointed with all the goodies in it. We also had the salad rolls. You get 4 good sized rolls which was more than I expected. The peanut sauce I found a little bland. Overall we will definitely come back here when in the area ! read more
