We have laksa and curry chicken. The laksa is especially authentic Malaysian style. Love it love it love it.

My best friend recently pointed this place out. The mornings can be very busy so if you want to go, make sure you get in early enough to where they don't sell out of certain breakfast items or get there late enough that you beet the morning rush. They were very accommodating for coming up with a healthy meal for my 1 year old son and they are vegetarian friendly. The veggies in our sandwiches were amazingly fresh. The egg sandwhich came with more than just egg which was a pleasant surprise. Food came out fresh as it was prepared. Service was good. Before tip, our combined bill came to $14. read more

Been going here for years...price is great. Service is fast as it is small restaurant and always busy. Pat the owner is friendly and goes out of her way to remember her customers names. Food is fantastic. I usually go for the breakfast, or at lunch the laksa soup and salad rolls. So delicious. Decent Laksa, but I have had a lot better. The price is hard to beat for a cheap eat out though. It is an incredibly popular spot with locals with often wait times. Maybe we just didn't catch them on a good day. read more

I'm giving a 3.5 just because the Laksa soup is very flavorful, but all of the chili oil (I think it's chili oil) is off-putting. I ordered ahead, and the lady was very nice, and the service is bang on. I took my lunch to go, as it's very close to my office. I was so hungry I didn't take any pics to show ya'll what I mean by the chili oil. I ordered the regular size bowl with the noodles on the side. I think it was just difficult to eat with the little take out spoon and oil getting everywhere. I do recommend this place though for anyone who likes homestyle Asian food. I will go back, for the curry chicken, that is next on my list. They have quite a bit of selection and it is family owned which I'm always down to support. read more

I stopped in at this place for breakfast and was amazed to see how cheap I could get a tasty simple breakfast. Standard eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast, but two things push it over the edge. One, the $6.50 price tag includes orange juice. Two, the exceptionally tasty mango jam/sauce served with the toast. I'm not much for sweet flavours, but it was delicious. read more

If you are looking or a great breakfast for the same cost of a Starbucks Latte you can't beat the French Toast and Mango Jam at the Mad Mango. The staff is always happy and the owner Pat is one of the nicest people in town. read more

I have come here twice now for there $5 veggie curry bowl and $3.50 spring rolls. This place is pretty much a hole in the wall, very asian style fast food. Service is good. Menus are simple and scattered with differences up on the wall and 'specials' that don't change. You can order at the counter or get sit down service if you can find a seat. Great little spot. Really good prices. Offers a variety of soups with nice, fresh vegetables. I think the owners are Malaysian but it's a typical Kelowna 'fusion' place. I ordered "Richard's Special" - a coconutty-curry-ey soup with won tons in it. You can ask for it mild if you can't take the heat. It was great and at 7$ I will for sure come back again. Delicious.... from the moment you walk inside. There is comport here. The menu was incredible. I've never tasted such fresh produce. The staff is amazing and, very knowledgable of the food that is prepared in the café. Please give the Mad Mango Cafe a try. You will love it! read more

Absolutely the best value in Kelowna. The food is great, staff is spot on, and Pat always takes care of everyone. Love the regular breakfast, the laksa is so awesome, and the rolls are always fresh. Milkshakes are a must. It is small and busy because its so good so avoid lunch hour for sure. Best time is late afternoon if you want to book off work early! read more

I order the large seafood soup and was very pleasantly surprised by the mix of flavors and the abundance of seafood. This is Kelowna must eat. The laksa soup is excellent, as is the spring rolls and peanut sauce. The value is excellent, you get a lot of food for very little. Unfortunately, lunch is extremely busy and seating is hard to find. I would recommend ordering takeout - over the phone or at the counter - and then taking away to stuart park or by the water on the beach or in city park. read more

My boyfriend and I visit Mad Mango at least once a week for the famous laksa soup. It's amazing and we are more than happily satisfied every time we go. I can only speak for the one dish, but it is delicious and well priced. The restaurant does get very busy during the lunch hour(s), so be prepared to wait a little for a table. I've gotten the salad rolls here a dozen times they are a buck a piece and very tasty for a lite lunch, I got a noodle soup of some kind once to mix things up but it was uuber spicy and did not have very much meat. It's always packed in there so you know it's good. If you ever see the coconut rolls in the front case TRY THEM. They are so good but they don't make them very often. read more

Make sure you try the green onion cakes! The only time I don't have them, is if they've already run out. I have been going to Mad Mango ever since I moved to the Okanagan and it is always a great experience. Very friendly and fast service - always busy, so you may have to wait for a table, but worth the wait. Food is always fresh, fast & delicious. Price is really reasonable, bill per person averages $10-$15 for us (including drink and appetizer). I would highly recommend to any Vancouverite feeling a bit of homesickness. Need more of these fantastically run family cafés! read more

Their laksa is phenomenal! I've never had anything like it. I find myself always craving Mad Mango's laksa! Their seafood salad rolls with the peanut sauce is incredible as well. Definitely try the laksa and salad rolls together - they go perfect as a pair! Everything is so well priced and delicious. The restaurant is small, but it is comforting and homey. I usually go for take-out just because I am on the run or picking up a bowl of laksa after work, but I have enjoyed my stay inside the restaurant a few times. Every time I head down there, they are 9/10 times busy as hell, but they handle it very well. The staff are very organized and seem to have a great system working out for them. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The owner is the sweetest! Mad Mango is definitely a personal and Kelowna favourite! read more

Soooo good. And so popular and busy. Despite how busy it was everyone was super nice and the order came quickly. They also ask if you want to pay now or later. I don't know how they can manage that in such a busy place....I would insist on payment up front if I worked there! Anyway, the food selection is amazing. All my favourite soups in one place. We had the war wonton and were not disappointed with all the goodies in it. We also had the salad rolls. You get 4 good sized rolls which was more than I expected.
