    Chicken wings (garlic flavour)
    Samantha W.

Had dinner here today since we were in the area. Interior is nicely renovated/decorated. Looks very clean. What we ordered: Garlic chicken wings, Lemongrass chicken on rice, Lg Laksa, and Pad Thai w/ assorted vegetables instead of egg and prawns. The two other people I was with said the chicken wings were okay, nothing special. Lemongrass chicken on rice: My cousin said it was really good and just wished the portion size was a little bigger. Laksa: Very flavourful soup with rich coconut flavour. Great seasoning, vermicelli was cooked right. Was a yummy dish. Probably the best Laksa *in Kelowna*. (Tried Laksa at a few other places and they were not Laksa at all.) Pad Thai: When I ordered the pad Thai I asked for assorted veggies instead of egg and prawns and the server said that the kitchen doesn't like doing that because they don't think it tastes good and asked me if I still wanted it. I said yes so she went ahead and put my order through. I've had Vegetable only pad Thai at other restaurants and I always enjoy it - to each their own. The pad Thai at this restaurant was good, I personally would've liked to have more veggies in it but otherwise the overall flavour was okay. However when we got our bill, I noticed we were charged an extra $2.50 on the pad Thai because it was rung in as an extra veggie charge with notes that says no egg, no prawns. I've never at any other Thai restaurant been charged extra for having vegetables in place of animal foods(eggs & prawns). I do however understand that every restaurant has their own right to do things differently BUT it would've been nice if the extra charge were communicated when I was ordering. For example: When we were ordering our server asked us if we were okay with cilantro. It's the same courtesy to say "It's an extra charge for vegetables instead of prawns & egg is that okay?".

Pretty good food, prices slightly high and service was a bit slow but friendly nonetheless

This is one of our favourite restaurants to visit. Fresh ingredients and good proportion for price. The best Laksa in town!

What a pleasant surprise to find a very authentic Chinese Restaurant in Kelowna, BC!! They have…read morereal Dim Sum!! Since After searching on Yelp ... we came with anticipation and we were totally blown away with their various dishes!! The dining room is bright and has a youthful ambiance! I always have a soft spot for Ma Po Tofu ( a Szechuan Spicy Tofu dish ) and I am happy to report that it was super delicious ... too bad it was only two of us and we couldn't order too many other dishes! But I am glad I ordered my fav dish! The Spicy Wonton is also done just right, not too spicy and the filling still very juicy and the wonton wrappings were super smooth in texture! I also liked their version of Singapore Style Fried Rice Vermicelli .. not greasy at all and have the distinctive " Wok Hei"! Overall, this is a great addition to the local Asian food scene, run by very friendly family ... in times like these, its important to support small local business! Since its just across from the Kelowna Airport ... its super convenient to hop off the plane and order yourself authentic dim sum and enjoy some fruity green tea!!

Happy I called to verify whether dim sum was avail on a Sunday morning (website states 4-8:30). Quite happy they serve congee (chicken or pork w/ preserved egg), which satisfied my "Chinese craving". Dishes we ordered satisfied our dim sum craving...flavours were okay, but definitely the place to go in between visits to Richmond or Toronto. Service was good, considering they were busy, and it appeared the lady was running around with more haste and expertise than the young man. Having grown up in Toronto and had dim sum from San Francisco, Vancouver, and Hong Kong, this place may not be best in comparison but love that they are avail to satisfy that dim sum craving while in the Okanagan! This is a rating of 3.5.

Another surprisingly cold day in Kelowna for us and after a quick trip up to Myra Canyon in our…read moreshorts and t-shirts, we were desperate for some warmth. We browsed through Google search for some hot soupy meals and came across TZone. You can never go wrong with ramen on a cold rainy day. I ordered the Ebi Mayo and a BBQ pork ramen because you have to have a classic tonkotsu when comparing ramen places and that was the closest I could get. Plus I love BBQ pork. The Ebis were surprisingly big and perfectly fried but I just remembered they were using Tiger shrimp so that makes sense I like the crispiness of the batter without it being oily at all. The mayo was quite spicy sooooo if you can't take spice I would ask for the sauce on the side. 5/5 The BBQ PORK RAMEN had chunks of BBQ pork instead of the classic thin slices of pork belly. I liked it for the slight char on the outside a and the tenderness of the pork on the inside. They managed to make it still melt in your mouth tender. Soup base was pretty solid with no MSG but it was with chicken broth! Ramen noodles were standard and cooked to al dente. 4/5 My friends ordered the chi-Ku-wa-crispy Japanese rolled fish cake with cream cheese inside and garlic mayo sauce. It was yummy with the spring of the fish cake and the creaminess of the cheese. I don't usually go to Asian restaurants when visiting Kelowna but this will now be our backup plan whenever we are craving some soupy noodles
