I went in first thing at 10am on halloween and it was really busy n they only had two girls working, but those two girls were amazing at helping and genuinely giving their time and in a fair manner to all the guests that walked in! They greeted everyone that came in and the girl that helped me was great! Ppl need to consider the work they have to do for each guest! It takes 5-10 mins even 15 per guest probably on average so no sh*t there's going to be a wait time ...it's MAC! Anyhoot love this store! Boooo mac!! I have used MAc makeup for over 10 years and have always had great experiences with the sales associates.. Apparently Temecula just doesn't need the business. I came in today intending to spend my husbands money :) My valentines gift each year is a 3-zeros shopping spree between MAC & Victoria secret!! This year it was Sephora & VC instead. After spending about 10 minutes walking around the entire 400 sq ft of the mac store and passing the same 6 employees over and over again, getting no more than a corner of the eye glance from a couple, I finally got fed up with being ignored and walked the few doors to Sephora where I was approached by 2 employees who helped me there. It's impossible to shop at Mac without a sales person as their stock is kept off the sales floor... Which makes me all the more disappointed in being dissed by a brand that I've spent so much money and loyalty on. I hadn't shopped sephora before today and found that the variety of selections were also in my favor. I think I found a new makeup spot! Adios MAC!! Sorry to break up, but it's not me, it's you! We visit the Temecula mall most weeks and have done so for the past 7 years. The mall has seen many improvements during this period, the most recent of which is the complete makeover of the J C Penny's store. It is now on a par with Macy's...Almost! Customer service is good to excellent in most of the stores and parking is plentiful. read more

I went shopping here for shoes and had a great experience. The sales associate that helped me was friendly and kind. She went searching around the entire shoe section to find the shoe I was looking for. She wasn't pushy or hovering either. After not finding any shoes in the general section, I went to Finish Line to check out the converse. The guy who helped me out was nice and checked in on me to see how they fit. I ended up purchasing the converse (black high tops) and we signed up for the rewards card. The cashier who rang us up at Finish Line was also very friendly and respectful. Horrible customer service here. My fiancee and I went in to look at buying a leather watch band but ok they diddnt carry them, the thing is no one cared to ask if we needed anything we walked back and forth in a dead shopping department store and not one person even made eye contact with us. I finally spoke up and asked if we could get some links taken off of the new fossil watch we just bought from them the lady rudely replied if we have a receipt I said yes I did but I bought it online it will be in my emails. I looked through my emails but right after she just kept walking away from us. My fiance litteraly followed after her and waited as she started to put away some items (guess she was trying to hurry up and close up). We landed up just leaving the store and while walking out still no one asked if we needed anything. There were sales associates all over in the jewelry, perfume, clothing area and not one person made any effort to look our way. Let me start off by saying.I use to prefer rocking my natural hair and not wearing any make-up . Until one day I was out shopping with my beautiful niece preparing for a trip to Vegas. We stopped at the MAC cosmetics located in Macy's at the Temecula Mall because my niece absolutlly LOVES makeup. There was this beautiful young lady(Alexis) who greeted us with a big smile and flawless make-up. I explained how i wasn't really into makeup,but i'd like to try something new for my Vegas trip. Let me tell you she hooked me up. The shade of fondation blush, and lipstick was on point! I still looked like myself just enhanced. She was professional, kind and an perfectionist.I am now a forever customers and make up wearer because of Alexis helpfulness and sweet personality. I really appreciated MAC having people of color working for them who can guide women like myself with products that work for our beautiful skin tones. Alexis you ROCK! The store was very nice and had great merchandise with nice displays. However, the customer service was awful. Me and my fiance went to do a registry and not one store rep approached us. Four department reps were gathered at one register, to include the department manager, and completely ignored us. We walked past them two times while looking for registry items and were never even glanced at, let alone to be asked if we needed help. I talked to the department manager when we were leaving, and only at this time did he bother to ask if he could help us. To late for that..we left there sadly disappointed. We will not be creating a registry with macy's at this point. Bad experience. read more

I am writing this review as to the amount/selection of cosmetics this store has in addition to having MAC (yeah!). I needed a few items and they had everything there without having to run around to other stores. However, I will say that the Lancome counter was WAAAYY to busy (understaffed) on "free gift" day. Purchased $4000 worth of furniture and waited 5 weeks for it to arrive from overseas. No big deal, this was expected. What was not expected was the phone call I got today stating the furniture was in and ready for delivery but not until Jan 27 2018, 5 weeks from now. Not only was I lied to by the sales staff twice, stating delivery would be within a few days of the furniture arrival at the warehouse, I was treated very disrespectfully by the person arranging the delivery for next year, their earliest date, 5 weeks from now. What kind of company is this. I will never buy from Macy's again and I recommend no one buy furniture from Macy's. Worst experience in over 40 years of furniture shopping. read more

Went into exchange a watch 15 min till closing and the gentleman in watch dept extremely helpful and courteous yet went to different watch dept to buy a better watch and no one was in section besides two ladies who ignored me and never greeted me then it was closing time and I asked if I could buy a watch and they told me "No" the lady is closing her register and they were too busy talking to help and did not apologize or give a hoot about my business. This has happened before with the blond haired manager atbleast two other times when I wanted to spend money they were and she was indescribably rude and told the watch lady to not let me make my purchase. Since when do retailers turn business away and from one business owner to another, YOU DO NOT SAY NO TO A PAYING CUSTOMER WHO HAS BEEN UNATTENDED TO AND TREATED IN SUCH A BAD MANNER THAT I WILL RETURNING ANY AND EVERYTHING I HAVE BOUGHT FROM MACYS DUE TO THEIR DISRESPECTFUL ATTITUDES AND DENIAL. We ended up laughing about some hilarious options, and I had a great time while finding some beautiful suits and blouses for work. I just moved to Temecula from Orange County and I love the Macy's Temecula store! They have the best INC department and all the sales representatives are excellent! They also have a very good inventory and their department is always very neat and a pleasure to shop in! I also love their Ralph Lauren Men's Department and the management keeps a top notch, well stocked, neat department. Not only do they have a good inventory but always have great sales! But, the main reason I love this department is because of Julie, their Ralph Lauren Polo rep. She is amazing and makes things happen! She provides such personal service and takes a real interest in all her customers! She is gifted in coordinating outfits and helping me make unbelievable decisions on my purchases! She is friendly but never pushy! I use to dread shopping for the men in my life but she has made it so easy! She is a true professional who has helped me so much. I had a pretty unpleasant experience at this Macy's on Saturday. First I asked a sales associate in the juniors department if there was a junior's plus size department. She rudely responded with, "I don't know, go upstairs and ask someone." How can a Macy's employee not know what departments they have? Or maybe she just didn't want to be bothered? That's cool, I won't bother Macy's with my business if that's the way I'm going to be treated there. Secondly, the women's bathroom upstairs was filthy. Filthy and needs to be remodeled badly. The couch outside of the bathroom was beyond filthy. Dingy looking. Stained. Disgusting. I expect a fine department store like Macy's to be immaculate and kept up. I felt like I was shopping at Ross or T.J. Maxx. And my final complaint is two female associates were loudly making fun of customers in the makeup department. Unfortunately I didn't get their names, but I hope Macy's will read this and conduct some sort of training amongst their employees. I can't believe how unprofessional the employees were on Saturday. Then we're extremely rude during the return process asking me questions I'd have no idea about I don't work for Macy's how would I know your questions. MAC inside the Macy's......Let me start by saying that I am now 32 and have been to many different cosmetic stores to try and fine the right foundation for my face. I have sun spots, so my skin is discolored, light with darker patches which makes it hard for me to find the right color. I have lived in several states across the country all the way from Virginia to here in Southern California and I have had many girls try and color match me and recommend the right makeup for me and I have never been satisfied. It has always been too dark, or too light and many of the times the girl doing my makeup made me feel uncomfortable. Well I went to Macy's in the Promenade mall in Temecula because my friend was in town visiting and wanted to get some makeup. We stopped at the Urban Decay section and asked the girls there for her product and I again asked if they could color match me and suggest the best product. The girl put a dab of one on my hand and said this one would be best in her opinion, me being desperate and still not having one I like, I bought it. After leaving there we were leaving Macy's when we spotted the MAC section so my friend decided we should stop and look, so we did. My friend asked one of the girls if she wouldn't mind color matching me and one came over. She gathered up a bunch of different products and came over and had me clean off my face and then went to work on my face. She was so nice, so professional and sweet, so I totally felt comfortable with her, I even asked if she could help me figure out how to do my eyebrows because mine are thin. She did them for me as well. When she was done, I didn't even recognize myself, it was the first time my face appeared even colored and flawless, my eyebrows looked great, I was so impressed. She not only wrote down the name and product number of every product she used on my face, but when I told her I had just bought a foundation at the other station, she said she would take care of it. She let me return the other foundation I had just purchased, sold me the one she just used on me, told me the one the other girl sold me would not have matched me at all and she is so glad I came to her. I ended up buying Studiofix Liquid NC35 which I still love! The name of the MAC artist that assisted me is Natalie, she is very pretty herself and she definitely knows her makeup!! I am so happy with HER and the Studiofix Liquid she sold me! read more

I've had more experiences of the staff being rude, unfriendly and unprofessional...rather than positive experiences. If you want to purchase items and don't care for the sales experience being pleasant this place will do. There's also a sales associate in the Sunglass Hut department that talks condescending to customers and management should take a closer look at who is hired. read more

I have been here twice in the past two weeks and the service is very poor. I had $400 worth of gift cards from my work to spend and decided to buy shoes. I wanted a pair of boots and a new pair of work heels. The first visit I had to the women's shoe department was disappointing. I found 4 different styles I liked and then had to hunt for a sales associate to ask for my size. There were no sales floor associates to be found so I wandered over to the "waiting line" with about 6 other customers to wait to even ask for my shoe size. Once it was my turn the associate laughed at me and said you'll be lucky to find anything here in a size 6. She didn't offer help, or hey you like these styles I can recommend this instead. She instead just laughed me off and was rude. After this interaction my husband and I left. I ended up buying a cute pair of booties at Guess upstairs. Tonight was my second visit, I thought we would give Macy's a second try. I found 2 pairs of work shoes and waited in line. The line this time was 10 people deep. I waited over 10 minutes just to ask for my size. One she had, one she did not. She took my name and told me to wait. Oh and I waited, over another 10 minutes. Finally I got the heels and tried them on. They were too big, and I needed a 5.5. I had to wait again for 10 plus minutes to ask for the different size. They had them and again she told me to wait. 10 more minutes later she brought out the empty box and said I'd have to find them on the floor. She didn't offer to help find them, ensure they were matching sizes or anything. I found them myself and decided to buy them. We went to another department to purchase. The sales associate said normally I'd have to go back to that department to buy them because they get commission. We laughed and said commission for what?!? Over an hour wait to be "helped" only to find the shoes myself as the floor model. She rang us though out of pity. The Macy's Temecula women's shoe department is horrible. Poor service, poor attitude to paying customers, mixed matched priorities, long wait times. You'd expect more from a Macy's. Awful! read more

I go here often for my makeup needs from MAC and Clinique. MAC is always so busy during the weekend, I will not go. The clinique counter usually has 2-3 customers when I go. I usually never wait more then 5 min. I know exactly what I need when I go, so I hate waiting on those who are trying to choose all new makeup. The associates seem to know how to deal with that. MAC does NOT! The shoe dept. I've used once & called to see if a show was in stock. Eduardo answered and was able to help me out and put some shoes on hold for me. I waited about 10 min on the phone but I sure he had a line ahead of me. I do not like the clothing selection for my age here. I find more clothing I like at Target. Overall, its a good Macys. If you are in a rush, probably not. read more

Visited the store in person today. Brought in 48 empty containers I had been reluctant to turn in for A LONG TIME. **The Back to Mac program encourages recycling by offering you one free lipstick per 6 empties you bring in***I use to work for MAC and have also been a customer. Many staff members are downright rude when you come in with recyclables as MAC has high expectations of your sales goals per person, and it can really kill your average unit sale per customer so I was almost afraid to bring them ! So an artist named Tanya waited on us. She was so kind . We weren't planning on purchasing too much and she was aware of this, and still so cordial to us. My daughter and I ended up spending $50 and because of the experience I have had both in store and over phone, we will be coming back regularly. I gave only 4stars only due to store's size and some of the selection. Otherwise 5stars for service!!! Xoxo read more
