I always love coming to Macys especially when there is an event happening at Union Square. The bottom floor has a food court that you can get food. I shop here when I am in town. From purses to clothing to kids clothes. I also been to Cheesecake Factory that is next door to them. I am glad this Macy's is still open and hope it stays that way.

Macy's in San Francisco is one of the last stores in downtown San Francisco where you can buy moderately priced clothes. Also, even though this store is older they have great prices, a wide selection of cosmetics and perfume and a couple of places to eat in the store. Boudin sourdough has delicious soup and sandwichs made with Boudin sourdough bread. Great shoes for men and women and a few floors of designer brands in contemporary styles. I'm happy I shopped here. I also ate some good food.

The Macy's Union Square store is one of the retailer's largest and oldest locations, long the flagship of Macy's California, and then Macy's West. Its convenient location used to attract tons of locals and tourists across the country and the world. Apparently the facilities are old and need some maintenance, such as the loud noisy escalators and elevators. It's sad to see the traffic has been declined and not as popular as it used to be. I really hope this iconic store can survive in SF.

I came to Macy's Union Square looking for jeans, and I found cute different styles that could be potential. The styles I liked areCelebrity Pink, Inc. Style & Co. This Macy's employee (Latin 60+) that is assigned to the fourth floor rudely told me that I can't try any clothes in this fitting room and recommended to go up. She closed the fitting room in my face, and trapped everyone that was inside. Besides that she didn't open it for other potential buyers. This fitting room is always open. I complained to the management about my treatment. If she got the audacity to do something shady again at my face. I will match her energy A few things I want to point out is her department is always messy. When I went to evening gowns, shoes, men's everything was at least color coordinated.

So beautiful amazing

Why aren't any Macy's open for in store shopping? I quite missed this store and it isn't the same as online shopping.

It's open again

How is their plus size department?

They have large selection of plus sized women's clothing, didn't check men's dept

We enjoyed lunch on the top floor at the Cheesecake Factory and then had fun shopping afterwards.

I absolutely LOVE this store!! Therapy is exactly that: good, old-fashioned retail therapy for…read moreall price ranges! From funky, modern cookbooks to cute stuffed animals, purses, youthful and quirky women's clothes, beautiful silk scarves, and feminine jewelry (including real gold earrings!), to lots of fun cards for any occasion (including Jewish holidays, which is important to me!), socks with funny sayings on them, hipster aprons, soaps, candles, fun tchotchkes of all sorts, there's a LOT to delight in inside this wonderful store! I would call it WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE, because the entry is definitely accessible, and if anything isn't, the employees go out of their way to move things and make it accessible! Their attitudes in general are very friendly and helpful, as is that of the owner (it's a woman-owned store!). Therapy doesn't close until 7:30 pm, which gives you plenty of time to run in for a birthday card and gift after you leave work and are on your way to a friend's birthday party! Overall, Therapy is a fun, quirky, happy-feeling store, and I love that it's managed to survive the last few decades on Valencia St.!

Prices are higher but I feel good when I support these mom and pop shops instead of Amazon. I always try to stop by after dining at Stonemill matcha!
