I came here for a return easy peasy thing to do. It is one of the last of the great department stores in San Francisco. I really hope it stays it brings joy to a lot of shoppers and tourists as well. They have a great house wares department although I didn't visit it this trip . I have been coming here since childhood. I really miss their Christmas windows cause none are really left anymore. They still have anything you might need in the clothing area at a price. Really good for a last minute run . There are parking lots near by and even across the street . It's sometimes hard to find a sales person to help you but they are around. Most everyone is friendly and helpful when you get ahold of them.

Bridgette was MEAN AND RUDE! I came to buy a carryall tote and the way she spoke to me was ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!!! It def turned me off from purchasing anything. I waited for a manager. The manager was GRACE. I did chat it up a bit with Carmen. If she had waited on me, perhaps things would've been different.

Heart inside Macy's. I took him shopping.

I got two dog jackets for my fur baby at Macy's a few years ago. I'm planning on getting him another one this year. They were surprisingly sturdy even through multiple (hand) washes. Very appreciative that Macy's is still here on Union Square. Though I don't shop as much as I used to, it's still very lovely to come by a real store to browse, buy and enjoy some drinks/snacks. Located on Union Square.

Five stars for still existing. I miss shopping in person, walking around, looking, touching, trying on. I came to exchange some slippers, was helped by sweet Patricia. I ended up buying two pairs of shoes for an amazing bargain. I was able to try them on and choose wisely. And the sales they have right now for shoes are INCREDIBLE. Thank you Macys for hanging in there.

I always love coming to Macys especially when there is an event happening at Union Square. The bottom floor has a food court that you can get food. I shop here when I am in town. From purses to clothing to kids clothes. I also been to Cheesecake Factory that is next door to them. I am glad this Macy's is still open and hope it stays that way.

Cheese and Charcuterie Board

I had a great shopping experience at Macy's San Francisco. I stop by their Wine Bar on the third floor and enjoyed a Mimosa Flight and Charcuterie board.

Macy's in San Francisco is one of the last stores in downtown San Francisco where you can buy moderately priced clothes. Also, even though this store is older they have great prices, a wide selection of cosmetics and perfume and a couple of places to eat in the store. Boudin sourdough has delicious soup and sandwichs made with Boudin sourdough bread. Great shoes for men and women and a few floors of designer brands in contemporary styles. I'm happy I shopped here. I also ate some good food.

It's open again

How is their plus size department?

They have large selection of plus sized women's clothing, didn't check men's dept

I don't usually write reviews, but this one is long overdue. Therapy Stores on Valencia Street is,…read morewithout question, one of the most special places in San Francisco. It's more than just a boutique... it's a warm, welcoming little pocket of joy in the middle of the Mission. One of the reasons I keep coming back (beyond the incredible gift selection and stylish, inclusive clothing) is because of the owner. She's owned this family-run business for over twenty years, and you can feel the love and intention behind everything in the store. She's one of the kindest, most humble people I've ever met, and every interaction with her reminds me why supporting small businesses matters so much. What really blows me away is that she always remembers me. Every time I walk in whether it's been a month or six she greets me by name and asks about my family. She remembers the little things: that my best friend I normally shop with here got engaged, that my dad fell ill last year, even what kinds of gifts I usually gravitate toward. It's such a rare and genuine connection, and it makes shopping there feel personal in a way that big stores could never replicate. Beyond the amazing people, the store itself is beautifully curated. You can find gifts for everyone !! From toddlers to grandparents, quirky coworkers to stylish best friends. Every item feels handpicked, and the range is both thoughtful and playful: hilarious greeting cards, cozy home goods, funky socks, beautiful clothes in all sizes, and unique accessories you won't find anywhere else. It's also incredibly inclusive and community-minded, with products that celebrate all identities, orientations, and body types. In a city that sometimes feels like it's losing its soul to chain stores and tech monotony, Therapy on Valencia is a refreshing reminder of what small business can and should be. A place with character. A place with heart. A place that feels like home.

They have a rude no drinks allowed policy, forcing people to leave them by the front of the store…read more As if a covered drink with a top on it is going to somehow spill on merchandise... perhaps its a hint that I should take my business elsewhere

I was literally 28 and this douche was making me feel 48. When we were checking out, he proceeded to ask us 3 times what we were up to that weekend. Dude! For the third time, we're getting dim sum later. Are you okay?? Do you need a doctor??! I live in the neighborhood and viscerally feel pissed every time I pass here. Then I'm calm because it's time for my jello and Matlock marathon because you know, I'M SO OLD OK but my stupid drama aside, here's my objective takeaway: Clothes are overall cute but pretty overpriced. The last thing I bought was a light colored long sweater with deeeeep pockets...for $95. I would recommend going to Azalea down the block for better shopping and customer service.

They have a great selection of quality versions of on-trend items. I've purchased several TNA-brand athleisure items and was very impressed by how warm, comfy and durable they remain over time. CONS: Reading all the negative reviews about certain customers being ignored by staff- now I wonder whether the excellent customer service I receive is not the norm but rather due to my "look". I also wouldn't recommend purchasing their premium knitwear as it's very soft but pills badly for a $100+ sweater. AND THE BIGGEST CON is Aritzia's limited return policy of only offering store credit for returns after 10 days. Aritzia is one of the only luxury retailers with SUCH an inflexible return policy. This absurd policy has discouraged me from buying pricier items. And I'm not the only one because I constantly hear people complaining about how dumb only giving people 10-days to return $200 jeans is!

I initially ordered the gray sweatfleece set (top and bottom), and the packaging was beautiful, neat, and thoughtful. I had to return it because it was too big, but when I reordered, the second package was just as nicely done. Five stars for consistency and care. As for the sweatfleece itself, I love it. The material is thick, warm, and absolutely worth the price. It feels well made and durable, and I can already tell this is something I'll be wearing for years. I know quality when I see it, and this definitely delivers.

I also recently attended the "Queen" party here and I had a blast.
