I was sent a pair of pants to consider in a UK size 4, BUT UAL tag was NOT labeled as UK. It simply said "4" and was the only visible size on the garment photo, leading both myself (and I'm assuming the associate who was only sending options she believed in my range) to believe it was a size 4 US. Pants were obviously several sizes too small after size conversion. I could not wear them upon arrival. Manager refused to allow me to return them for anything other than store credit even after my explaining entire situation and sending screenshots of conversation and recalling phone conversations that were not on text. She took one screenshot out of context as "proof" that I had size information. I had a waist and inseam measurement on the pants, which in no way defines the entire fit of the pant as a whole. The waist fit me as did the length, however they were bulging tight in the legs and did not fit as they should have had they been a US size 4. She ignored dozens of other texts and conversations that made it clear that I was looking specifically at a US size range and the associate was understanding and helping me with that. Manager also told me "our customers should just know" what brands require size conversions and which do not, even though nowhere on the UAL tag did it say "UK" 4, so I would have known to make the conversion. Overall, associate was wonderful and doing her best to be helpful. But mistakes do happen and it seems unfair to penalize a customer for a sizing error that her UAL staff also made (non-intentionally). Manager was incredibly condescending and difficult to deal with. UAL has great prices and pieces, but you better hope you never have an issue with anything because there is a huge unwillingness to resolve or be anything other than stubborn and defensive over something that should be a very simple refund for a misunderstanding in which UAL absolutely shared blame. based off of conversations with an associate knowing my desired size range and these subsequent photos, I reasonably assumed and relied on UAL's staff and tag to believe that these were my correct US size.

Bank locations across the country over the years so I've gotten pretty familiar with them. This location of JoS. A. Bank is the location I've visited the most frequently of any of their actual physical stores. I used to have some type of VIP card with them that I got while I was in Katrina exile in Austin, TX but I lost that card years ago... so maybe I should ask about that again? Of late I have been rather disappointed JoS. A. Bank online hasn't had their white tie formal attire accessories like shirts, vests and ties available on their website while I have checked with this New Orleans store in person and with the Mobile location via phone and confirmed they do have some of these items. This Metairie, LA location didn't have a full selection of sizes for the shirts and zero vests while the Mobile location did have a wider selection. Now we don't need to remind anybody of the ongoing down and dirty competition between New Orleans and Mobile over Mardi Gras that is mainly Mobile always wanting to start fake fights by making up things like they "invented" Mardi Gras or that they are the "birthplace of Mardi Gras" when all of us know that Europe literally invented Mardi Gras and is 100% the birthplace of Carnival! So it is highly disappointing that the Metairie JoS. A. Bank is letting the New Orleans area down by having far less of the required piqué formal white tie components we need for our Carnival Balls than the Mobile location! New Orleans is noted for having a bigger, better and all around more fun time so we can't allow Mobile to outstock our required traditional garb! This Metairie location did report they expect far more piqué shirts, vests and ties should be arriving soon so we shall see... I have a friend that lives in the Mobile area I'm attempting to properly outfit and I'm attempting to get the NOLA area location more business instead of the Mobile one but time is growing short! So the Metry location needs to step up in a hurry to help continue winning this war Mobile started!

Then I found out from the shop attendant that the state flower of Louisiana is the Magnolia! What??? My boyfriend's mom was born & raised in NOLA and loved our dog. She has been gone for a year and half, so finding this out strangely makes me feel connected to her and that she is still around. :*) Anyway, the sweet shop guy asked me to tell him the story of how my dog and I found each other. I recounted the tale of how I found her at PAWS Chicago, where she came from originally (Oklahoma), that she had a brother named "Steel", how she saved me from a life of stress, and then our connection to NOLA. I always appreciate when someone can create a warm and fuzzy moment. So thank you, Shop Guy! The collar is high quality all around - material and construction. I have purchased MANY custom collars for my baby girl and this has been the best so far. It's worth the money because I know it will last for a long time.
