We went in to this store looking for hats. The clerk said "Unfortunately, we only have hats that say 'America' on them". I said "That's sounds like 'fortunately'!" She responded "For you!" I will not support a business that doesn't support our country. read more

High end vintage clothing that knows exactly what it is and is unapologetic about it. Extremely helpful - my 21 year old daughter was made to feel completely comfortable during her shopping. Well recommended. read more

I live stopping in here when I'm in NOLA. Gorgeous dresses...stuff you can't find in the department stores. Nice quality fabric.

Exceptionally rude salesperson, Alice, couldn't answer simple questions on fox-collared cashmere coat. Don't know if she wasn't trained on inventory or if she thought athletic wear we wore coming off cruise indicated we couldn't afford apparel. Believe me, I was in a buying mode, but treatment sent me into another store where I bought jewelry many times more than coat cost. I'll go to my true furrier back home. read more

I bought a faux fur coat that I tried on and it was too small. It was the only one in the store He ordered one in my size and had it sent to my home when I returned. It was $600.00. It was also too small and sleeves too short. I called to return it and he said it was on sale and no refunds. Only store credit. I called the supplier whose name and number was on the shipping label and found out they only carry ladies clothes. When I tried to explain, he hung up on me. He sold me a ladies coat! When I called him he said he told me it was a ladies coat, which he did not. Why would I buy a ladies coat? He then got verbally abusive. DON'T SHOP HERE. read more

The clothes here are very unique. My babygirl prides herself on her ability to be creative with many pieces and I do agree. That being said, many of the items here are within the category of one-of-a-kind. The colors, patterns, cuts, and materials are memorable. The downside? The prices. After seeing the prices of a couple of different dresses, I shyed away. So if that's the case, why am I giving them a four star rating? Because if I had the dinero to fork over for their clothes, I would go for it. And how cool was it that my family and I were just going through NO as a quick stopover and this place was open super late! read more

Oh my gaaaaah! Talk about retro dress heaven!! I stopped in here with a friend, after he mentioned that this place is a "must" for any retro lover. They carry a wide selection of "Stop Staring!" dresses, which are all amazing. If you are into the whole 50's retro look, this is the place for you. There is a wide selection of retro dresses in a lot of different sizes. They vary from what I would call casual swing dresses to fancier form fitting wiggle dresses, in both solids and prints. I am only knocking off a star because the dresses are a little steep, though I understand this is the dress manufacturer price. I kind of wonder if past reviewers. went into the store, or just went by what they saw in the window, because if you are a guy, they also carry a wide selection of suits of all kinds at very good prices. In fact, I would say that they have more men's suits than ladies dresses! You are sure to find something amazing. Bonus points: they are open late every night of the week (close at 11pm!). read more

This is my favorite place to shop for premium quality Italian suits. I love my suit jackets because of the side vents, and a pronounced V shape. I purchased thirteen pairs of Italian suits from the Tchoupitoulas location. Jennifer is my favorite sales associate. She is knowledgeable with men's fashion and also very pleasant to do business with. I will purchase more suits from Italy Direct in the near future! Quality & style of my suits: 5 stars My experience at Italy Direct: 6 golden stars read more

Best place for Italian Suits in the city. The owner is a good guy and doesnt try to over sell. It cheaper than Banana Republic, J Crew, & Brooks Brother. Which are your only options in this city if your downtown and have self respect not to go to H&M. The quality is what you would expect in large volume Italian made suits. The pants are always 100% wool or cotton, the lining may be synthetic but for the price, whatever. After you buy head over to T&A for the fit. read more

I came here with a friend who dumped a ton of money here on his wife... A cool little shop on Royal Street.... Some great clothes... If I had been in the market for some dress clothes, I would have got something. My friend went here several times... and he only bought when the owner was here because he made better deals... read more

I love the vintage -inspired pieces of this shop. I lust after all their dresses! My boyfriend and I saw a dress in the window that we loved but didn't have a chance to buy before we left NOLA. He ordered the dress for me online when we returned home; but since I didn't get to try it on beforehand, it was one size too large. He called up the store, who were so helpful in finding the dress in my size and let us exchange it with no problems. Really great and friendly customer service. The dress is gorgeous, well-fitted, and made of quality material. I will definitely be back for more frocks next time we're in town. read more

I ordered a dress online from this retailer I would suggest that nobody ever shops online with them. When I called the day I received it and tried it on they told me that they would give me a refund if I shipped it back. Then a woman called and told me they do not do refunds so I asked if they carry the size that I would have in that particular dress and they told me no. They said that it's in small print on their website and they do not do returns and it Hass to be within seven days even if you do just get a store credit but if you can't find anything you like you're just out the money they are thieves I am going to be reporting them to Better Business Bureau as well as yelp and calling the attorney general as well because there is a three day change your mind. Anyways but this was ridiculous because if they had some thing that fit me then I would have taken it, The woman that called me the second time after I was told I could get a refund told me that the girl was wrong they will not give me a refund and she was very rude I suggest never shopping there as I did one time in person and the guy that was at the counter trapped me terribly. I have never been so disgusted by a store in my life there are plenty of other places to shop in New Orleans and online but this is a warning to everybody do not buy from this shop. Luckily I have attorneys that I will be utilizing for this as well. read more

I loved this store! The customer service was excellent, I felt like a princess in there and the quality of the clothing was outstanding. I ended up spending way more than I should have, but I don't regret it at all! I think I will even shop from here online now that I'm back home. read more

Nice shop, specifically for women. The shop carries a line of dated/vintage looking dresses which I find very flattering on women. The staff is very polite and helpful as I have gotten a few things from several different attendants here. My one dislike I have with the store is the return policy, or rather exchange policy. I often make purchases for friends and family than I do for myself. I find it difficult to walk away from something I know someone I'm close to would love. Yet making a purchase on a whim is not likely to happen in this store as their 7 day exchange policy doesn't leave one very much room for error when it comes to fitting. So overall good service and unique suits and gowns but I would advice you not to buy anything unless one has the time to try it on, which I personally am not very adapt or whomever you're buying for lives in the area. read more

This place is amazing if you are looking for high quality suits at excellent prices. The service was beyond what I could have ever imagined prior to walking into the boutique. I am extremely impressed with the variety that I was offered and, if need be, I can order exactly what I want from them if it is not in the store. I am definitely a repeat customer! read more

Awesome, professional customer service. Love this boutique in New Orleans on Royal street. read more

I came here while I had a few hours to kill before my flight back to NYC. I have quite the selection of stores in NYC, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous dresses and customer service at this store. They have vintage inspired, one of a kind classy pieces which I proceeded to try on with the help of Ben...and he was simply excellent with sizing and selection. He even suggested shipping for a nominal price. I received my items within a couple of days. I'm only sorry I didn't discover the store at the beginning of my visit to NOLA. I guess I'll have to satisfy myself with their online store and plan a visit back soon! read more

Came into this boutique and fell in LOVE with the dresses and pranced around the store with them on-- they fit extremely well with a blend that stretches with your figure so any body type will be flattered. Not typically a retro vintage girl but these dresses are tre chic indeed! Expensive but worth it.. read more
