Located in the Riverwalk Outlets this department store had a lot of items marked down. I saw earrings, clothes, shoes, and of course items located near the registers. The store was neat and laid out fairly well, for what I was looking for. I found nickel free earrings and other items that were marked down. As for customer service, I didn't need help and the ladies at the register were moving the line quickly. I would shop here again if in New Orleans. read more

I make a point to find the nearest Nordstrom Rack whenever I'm traveling As for this one at the Port of New Orleans, I was pleasantly surprised by their denim selection. They had a great assortment from Good American and Madewell, with a good range of sizes and styles to choose from. So yay because I needed a pair of jeans because the weather was much cooler than I'd packed for. The dress section, however, felt a bit repetitive. Lots of the same styles, so not a ton of variety there. One thing that really stood out was the shoe section, especially if you're a size 10. There was a very large selection, which isn't always easy to find. Overall, a solid stop if you're looking for quality denim and shoes, but also know that it's Nordstrom Rack so options will always vary. read more

Very warm and smelling of raw sewage. These are two things you do not look for in a clothing store. There are so many more things that are not attributes for clothing store, but these have to be near the top of the list. Then there's the ridiculous attempt at tricking you into signing up for a Nordstrom credit card. Why would anyone sign up for a Nordstrom credit card? At checkout they ask you, do you want to join? They say, it's 60% off today. If you say, sure. I'll join as long as there's no charge. They say there's no charge, then they start signing you up for a credit card. Although it's not it should be illegal. As long as you don't join anything, sign up for anything, or elect any credit cards, the prices here are reasonable. read more

Wow, what a difference a year or two makes... I think this area was still recovering from Covid when I was first here, and the men's section was terrible. On my latest visit (Dec 2024), this store was much better with tons to choose from. The Men's section (upstairs) was awesome with lots of stuff to choose from. I even found a designer shirt for 4 bucks (marked down from $198, then to $14.99, then Clearance). The Mall itself is more vibrant as well so good recovery on this area of town! This is a huge 2 story store. Great selection of shoes and purses! Everything is tidy and easy to find

It's hit or miss as these types of stores tend to be. When it's hit though you can find some awesome designer items at half the cost.

Oddly being a local who comes to the outlet mall regularly enough for one reason or another I don't recall ever coming into the Rack. Today they changed. I tried on a few types of shorts and they offered nice pricing. The store seems to lack staffing nobody ever asked if I needed help, dressing rooms attended and were beat up and not very clean. So basically seems like they need additional staffing to bring it up a level but happy to have them in the mall. read more

Having some downtime and needing to find some items for a themed party later in the week I found myself here. It is a bit unnerving being in here and it feels like a sterile environment. But that has nothing to do with the customer service I received while in here. I took some time to browse the tables and racks and didn't rush myself. I ended up circling back to where I started at the sunglass displays. I tried a few pairs on. After some back and forth between pairs I finally made a decision. I take my purchase and head to the register for checkout. Here is where it gets good. I at first thought that I was not going to get the best customer service. The girl working the checkout didn't look too friendly. Once I got there, and she rang me up. I thought that was it and I was going to walk out of there with my new sunglasses. After she rung them up and took off the security tag she asked me what case I wanted for the sunglasses. I was taken aback because I was not aware it came with a case. Not sure, she chimed in with which cases she had and made suggestions on the color I should get that would compliment the pair I selected. I didn't argue with her, I went with her suggestion because she was right. The case totally complimented the color of the lenses and I couldn't be more happy. read more

Definitely not like the racks we have back in south Florida. This place seemed to be lacking merchandise. The shoe department was ok I found a pair of shoes for my daughter here. Overall, for clothing I wouldn't recommended shopping here unless you are looking for a pair of jeans or a jacket. That was about all I saw an actual decent amount of. read more

On the west coast I grew up going to Nordstrom all the time. This store customer service was always the bar. However, at this location don't expect it. Louisiana hasn't had a real Nordstrom and it shows. From the lack of selection to employees attitudes. I was super excited about this store opening because previously the closest Rack was in BR. I went on vacation to New Orleans last November . After see that was a Nordstrom store ,I was excited to purchase some items there . After my experience ;I forgot to save my receipt and back to L.A ,the items I purchased weren't what I expected. I was checking online that is options to get a receipt ,but supposedly workers from Nordstrom can only get receipts for purchases made 'online ' . I decided to call this store ;but the employees reduced her training saying 'i can't help you because the system can only track receipts from the same day ' ,then the 'system' is on diapers . I asked her how that is possible,if every single store have a database to find out refunds or credit cards for they own convenient. Everything was useless ,the lady refuses to help me . I called corporate and guess what ?? They help to get the information that I need to return items back in L.A. Amazing that people at this store won't be able to track anything even with the credit card number . Anyways ,good think I won't come back there . read more

Large two story rack location with tons of merch and good pricing. Saw a couple of Michael Kors booties for $25, some Urban Decay make up setting spray for only $18 (regularly $31 at other stores) and some good clearance bags and jewelry. I didn't see any staff members, so I can't really speak to their helpfulness or not. Our friends bought a couple pairs of sunglasses since they were on a good sale for the brand names they were buying. They did say that their cashier was friendly and quick. Used the bathroom while there and it was clean and well kept. Shoes were all in order by size and easy to look through. If I didn't own five pairs of booties already I would have bought the red Michael Kors I saw. Overall: A Clean, easy to shop location with good pricing for brand name items. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is awful. There is hardly any merchandise and what little inventory this store owns, it is the worst looking clothing you have seen at any discount store. There is no one to assist on the sales floor. I recommend you shop online before making a trip to this location. read more

Okay, I was highly anticipating this opening but did not know what to expect. I really like the location by the entrance and play area. Starters, handbags, sunnies, scarves. They are in fall/winter season in NOLA but love the selections. The children's clothes are the best. The prices are reasonable and nice sets and dresses ranging from newborn to 4. The shoes are upstairs. Lordt!!!! Tory Burch shoes and boots. I really need to go back and have a daiquiri first then play in there. I never made it to the HOME section either. Sad face. read more

I love Nordstrom Rack! This place is like TJ Max or Marshall's but more organized and mostly all designer brands. Normally when I go in here I just lose track of time as I search around all the different departments. Home stuff is great, they have really cute barware, throw pillows, and candles. They have a large handbag section. Lots of jewelry, make up and cosmetics. I bought a really cute make up bag, and smaller bag here. The clothing section is nice, you don't see large amounts of clothes on the floor that have fallen off their hanger. Next you travel upstairs and get lost in the rows and rows of shoes. I like how they have them divided between mostly regular brand shoes and high end designers. They have a very good selection of men's clothes too, this is one of the only stores I don't have to beg my husband to go into with me, he enjoys it and always finds something for himself. The first time I came here the associate was extremely helpful telling me about their reward program and signing me up for a Nordstrom debit card, and I've been using it ever since. I highly recommend the debit card because it allows you to earn points faster, without affecting your credit. On my last purchase I was able to get $10 off thanks to my rewards. read more

Finally got one in New Orleans. This particular branch is a little smaller than most, but given the location, it is understandable that real estate is at a premium in downtown New Orleans. They have a very good selection of items for men women and home goods. The staff is very friendly and always available to help.
