Excellent skateshop. The interior is a bit small and crowded for a top-tier skateshop--we're not talking the type of space some leading shops have but still Humidity packs in the merch and the staff are all winners with a great, helpful, attitude. The location can't be beat, either--near Jackson Square. What impressed me most was when I most recently went in--and I'm an out of towner, understand--they greeted me, we talked about art and photography and one of the guys asked me to go to a photo show his friend was having. There's a real sense of wanting to include all skaters here, to extend the community outward and not puppy-guard anything despite probably getting a huge lot of tourists wandering in for better or worse. It's skater owned, and operated, staffed by skate rats that give a fuck about their community. I haven't skated or bought a skateboard in 12+ years so I was skeptical going in but I felt very welcomed and the atmosphere was warm and inviting as well. I was taken care of by Stephen who was eager to help and assist me in picking a board and building it as well. The location is a bit hard to find so you have to look for it, but overall, it was a great experience and it made me miss the skater community. Shop was full of positive energy. read more

Went yesterday for my daughters first skateboard. They said their stock was limited due to Covid but we found a board my daughter loves. It was her first board and I've never skated so they were super helpful to a bunch of noobs. It's a small spot that's hard to find but I highly recommend it! read more

These guys are just pure bad ass. Just starting out skating, thought I was way too big to participate. They hooked me up. Walked me through everything I needed, got me all setup. Everyone in that shop, employee or not, was super supportive and interested. They explained what and why each piece was as they helped me with my setup. They told me I was likely going to need much harder bushings than came in my trucks, but were not forceful about it. I tested the ones I had for about a week... they were absolutely right. I went back and bought new bushings from them after doing my research online. These guys were so awesome I want to support and give them all my business regardless, but they turned out to be a little bit cheaper than I had found online while learning about them. Just cannot say enough about these guys. I have a new hobby that my fat ass loves, been a pure joy from every aspect. If any of you reads this, thank you. In NOLA for work and stopped in the French Quarter today. I skate and often when traveling I stop by local shops to check them out. Humidity is legit, dudes there are nice and seem down to earth. Small place to chill and watch videos. I'm from Chicago and they are down with our local scene (Uprise/Bluetown/AWH). Decent mix of hardwood & softgoods. read more

Locally owned non chain skate shop that really knows its customer base. I must admit that I haven't been on a board since the early 90s and back then I was terrible, but I give these guys my business whenever possible for sneaker purchases. The staff is always really friendly and they do great customer appreciation events on an almost weekly basis. If you skate or like skate sneakers, stop by and give them a visit. As a skateboarder of 20+ years I have been to a lot of shops. This place is tops. Stopped in with my girl on my vaca and everyone was so chill and made me feel like I was a local regular. Ended up buying some pants that were a collaboration with the shop owner, and the guys were so cool we stopped back in the next day to chat and buy some more stuff. Not a skater, but love 90's style and skate brand graphic design. Was really pleased to find this store. Extremely nice staff. Very helpful. Great vibe- everyone seemed very happy to be hanging out in there. I usually go for the mainstream brands like Supreme etc...but this shop turned me on to some brands and designs I hadn't heard of before.
