Stumbled upon this place after brunch and so glad we did. It was full of pieces from local artists and everything was cute in here. I would totally recommend checking them out. I bought a cute fan and it was def worth the price! The people who worked there was sooo nice!

I absolutely loved this shop! It was filled with such unique and eclectic treasures, many from local vendors. I bought my girlfriend an amazing set of iridescent eyelashes! Also make sure you check out the forbidden room upstairs, that's where the real magic is!

Cute vibe and nice curation of local art!! Some weird pieces, but it's always fun to drop in and see what's new.

It's a fun an eclectic shop. My husband was enamored by the window display, so we took a browse through the shop. Gifts and unique statement jewelry.

This is my favorite shop on Magazine st. There's something for everyone. Gorgeous unique trinkets to appeal to an array of aesthetic tastes. Love the little taxidermy dioramas and wish I could afford them. For now I'll treat myself to the occasional print or bauble. Got a lovely pair of owl earrings for my mum last time I was in.

Super cute novelty gift shop in the Garden district. There's a little something for everyone here. I picked up a gift for my niece while I was window shopping. Great customer service too. I recommend Miette if you're in the area. Don't forget to check out upstairs for more adult gifts for that special someone!

Cute little shop with some kitschy and interesting finds. Go upstairs for an adults only surprise, or peruse their selection of whimsical stuffed rodents.

Miette is a really cool shop located on Magazine Street in the same block as Juan's and Aiden Gill. Miette has cool and trendy clothing and accessories. If your cool and trendy, or are just trying to be cool and trendy, this is the place for you. Some of the items I looked at had labels written in Korean. Apparently many of the items come from Korea and are for smaller statured women. I am a giant, and a dude, so none of the clothes are really geared towards me, but they did look cool. There were also some kid's onesies including my favorite one said Poo Dat. There is lots of jewelry and other cool items from local artists. Several light fixtures made from old Mardi Gras beads are also for sale. The owner was really cool and helpful and answered all of my questions. If you're in the market for some really cool clothing and your a small girl Miette is for you. If your not a girl there is still plenty of cool jewelry and other household items.

This is one of the stores I think I would love at any age. I'm currently just looking for a decent excuse to wear my latest purchase, a unicorn horn. They have them in three different (maybe four) different sizes and various sparkly colors. My friend's logic, "I mean, whenever I want to be a unicorn, I get bummed because I don't have a horn, so might as well stock up." Walking in is an experience in itself with the potential for a seriously fun eye-spy game from ceiling to floor. This store is cute, sexy, funny, witty, dark, sparkly, and everything in between. Miette is definitely one of my go-to spots for gift giving with a great range on prices. From cute pins, reasonably priced sunnies, cards, candles and soap to local designer pieces that I have on my wish list for when I want to splurge. It usually takes me at least 20 to 30 minutes to walk all over the store and finally decide on what to get. Again, it's weird and all sorts of beautiful so if you're a "White House, Black Market / Egg shell is my favorite color" type, and you don't believe in unicorns or the babadook...Maybe just keeeeep walking. ;)

Great little unique boutique! Lots of different locally made items for everyone! I came for a pair of Chimera eyelashes and Niki who was working went out of her way to be helpful! Lots of wigs, some clothes/costumes, magnets, jewelry, kitschy items and lots of local flair. Items ranged from cheap & fun to a bit pricey, but handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. Whether you are a local or just visiting, you can find a gift or souvenir here.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. This shop stole $200 from me…read more I bought a dress here at the end of April for $200. I took the dress home, then found out the event I had been planning to wear it to was canceled. The following Friday I went back to the store to return it. No one was there, despite the signage and the website saying the store should be open. I called the number on the website and a different number on the front door asking when their hours were. Didn't hear back. Okay, fine. I sent them an email. Never heard back. I went back to the store the following Sunday. They're closed despite the signage, again. So finally on May 16th I bring the dress down there a third time, on a Saturday this time, and they're open. They explained that they don't usually do returns, but that they'd allow me to make a return this time, in exchange for a gift certificate, but it would take a few days to process. They wrote down my email, phone number, physical address, and said they would get back to me by the following Tuesday at the latest. I also left the dress with them, which now I see was a stupid move. It's June 2nd! I've called them! I've emailed them! I've physically gone down there, and they were, surprise, closed when they said they would be open! They have obviously not responded to anything. So: I don't have a dress. They have my $200. They're not returning my calls. What am I supposed to think, here? I'm obviously never buying anything from them again, and I strongly suggest you don't either.

The Sales Person there was BEYOND sweet! And oh SO helpful!! It was literally a joy walking around the store! I didn't find the dress, but I left with the cutest shirt ever. And it was on sale!! Win - Win!! I'll certainly return and I'd highly recommend this little gem!

I fell for quite a few pieces including some summery maxis, peasant tops and long cardis with interesting hemlines. I wound up purchasing a classic navy and white stripped off the shoulder pantsuits ($69), the EXACT style I have been on the hunt for unsuccessfully until hitting up Armoire, and an adorable marble clutch with brush gold clasp ($38) large enough to hold my massive phone which I had yet to find anywhere after YEARS of looking!! I was also able to use 10% off with my Yelp check in! Thrilled!! A friend I was shopping with snagged a gorgeous beaded evening gown to wear to our friend's wedding for just $65 right off the sale rack! Unreal! No doubt will I be hitting up Armoire when I'm in town again! Soooo worth the journey down to Magazine Street. Take the street car!! Sales staff was incredibly helpful and kind! Store was well stocked and well merchandised by style too. Their buyer/owner should be commended for the collection they have going on here! Accessories and select home decor items were wonderful also! What a fab find! *Follow them on Instagram and shop their racks online!

For example, I got a really cute maxi halter dress for $80 and a really nice turtleneck for 30 that that was made of quality material. In the dressing room, they had a sign saying that they offer champagne while you're trying stuff on. I had just stuffed myself full of both turkey and the wolf sandwiches + District donuts, honey butter, hot chicken biscuit + donuts and ice cream because apparently I came to New Orleans to abuse myself, so I wasn't in the mood for champagne, but I think it's a really nice thing to offer. I would definitely make it a point to come back here and shop while I'm in town because I think that the quality and price we're really good and I left with a really nice dress that will look perfect on me in France this summer.
