The walls are all painted a light shade of pink. A calming color. In a fairly small store, you will find quite an eclectic collection of wearable and decorative artwork. My favorite piece was the large, colorful wall hanging behind the counter with matching yarn earrings for sale below it. All kinds of other earrings, necklaces, and wall art on the same wall. Stickers on the shelf below. There was a small dog sitting on the red couch in the back of the store. Yes, I said hi to him. I didn't pet him because he looked like he really didn't want that. He looked a little frightened. One of a kind, handmade clothing for sale on a rack, next to the couch. When in New Orleans, I recommend you visit this shop for sure. You will not be disappointed.

The delicate, beautiful fascinators with ostrich feathers are something to behold! These will make you stand out in a crowd of parade and Mardi Gras ball revelers! I believe the woman who owns the shop makes these on the premises as there's a huge sewing studio in the back of the store. IE, these are not coming off a shipment from China. I couldn't quite tell if this shop was a consignment shop or not because all of the items are "one of a kind", in the sense that there is only one of each thing offered. This is truly a factory of weird with your hodge podge of vintage and antique items loosely grouped around the store, with more jewelry, tchotchkes, porcelain figurines and ephemera up front. Then the back room has an assortment of antique and vintage denim, dresses, shoes, purses and costumes. But what was really cool were the upcycled and handmade pieces full of nihilism and shock value humor. I would've purchased one of these items but couldn't find my size. In each area there's a little I spy feature where one of the artists upcycles an item and paints it and writes a saying on it, keep your eye out for them! They even have a free box, which they really don't need to have, but they do it for the community! Staff were friendly.
