I recently purchased a dress online and had it delivered to the store for pickup. I was not notified when the dress arrived, so by the time I went to pick it up approximately two weeks later, I discovered that the dress had a hole in it. I was extremely disappointed to then be made to feel as though I should somehow be responsible for an item that was damaged before I ever took possession of it. What bothered me even more was the response I received when I called the store manager to address the situation. I was told, "It was a cheap dress anyway." Regardless of the price of an item, that is an incredibly dismissive and unprofessional way to speak to a customer--especially a loyal customer who has supported this boutique many times. The issue is not simply the cost of the dress. It is about customer service, accountability, and how a customer is treated when there is a problem. I expected the store to stand behind the merchandise it sold and handle the situation professionally. Instead, I felt dismissed and disrespected. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed the way I feel about shopping here. A loyal customer should never be made to feel that their purchase or concern does not matter simply because someone considers the item "cheap."

I was in here looking around and hoping to find some new clothes for my New Year wardrobe. I was dressed down, having spent the entire day running errands and finishing Christmas shopping. I didn't think much of it and I just looked around as I normally do, but I did find it kind of weird. The clothing here is lovely and they have a wide selection of things from casual to dressy. The clothes are a little pricier, but I can tell that they're worth it because the quality is outstanding.
