I have been shopping at Uniqlo for a long time and most of the clothing I have purchased there maintains strength and durability no matter how many times you wash or dry clean them. I do wish there were more locations, but then again not so much bc I'll be broke. I do like their heattech collection, it does keep me warm during colder months. They also offer free alterations depending on what you need done and if it meets the price threshold. I forgot the minimum, but I don't think it was much. If not they charge around $5 or so. This is the closest location in the Pasadena/Annapolis area. They also have a few other locations in Bethesda, Montgomery Mall, and D.C. I'm sure there are more and I've heard there will be a new location in Annapolis Mall. Their clothing can be pricey, depending what you buy. However they do have sales throughout the year and you can get many pieces at a low price. Overall, the Columbia location has a wide variety, but one of their small stores. The location on 5th Ave, NY is by far their largest store.

I could have gone to any store much like this, but this was closest to where I was at this point. It was busy when I came in here, but I found my way to the department I wanted to be in. Grabbing my items I continued to browse. I ended up with an armload of items and made my way to the front of the store. The line here can be intimidating. Like so many places like this, the move at a snail's pace. It doesn't help that the customers in front of you just don't pay attention. Even with a majority of the registers manned, it still took a while to get through the line. The staff I did deal with were nice. Just was pleasant during the whole interaction. In typical Charming Charlie fashion, the store is organized according to color. This thrift store has mostly used items, but you'll also find new items with the original tags still on them. They have apparel and shoes for men, women, and kids. Additionally they have home goods including toys, kitchenware, appliances, electronics, linen, books, sporting goods, and much more. I was pleasantly surprised to see a number of designer and high quality apparel with the original tags still on them. While other apparel items looked only lightly worn. Among the brands I saw were Vince Camuto, Coach, White House Black Market. Most of the apparel were between $5-$20. In perusing the dresses, I was impressed at how stylish they were. Most of the shoes I saw looked worn and dirty. I wouldn't purchase shoes unless they were brand new. I didn't buy anything this time, but will definitely come back to shop for apparel.

I was on the fence if I wanted to pay that much so I asked if the price ever dropped below 40% and she said no. She was very friendly and helped me look online to see if there were any similar belts that were cheaper. She didn't find any, but offered to give me an additional 10%. Although the merchandise is pricier than I typically pay, I'll come back to shop when they have a sale and based on the exceptional service I received today.
