Just recently, I purchased a Calvin Klein Dress that was on sale for $34.65 (originally $99.00), but of course I had an additional coupon for $10 off. I walked away paying $25.81 for a beautiful Calvin Klein Dress. My total savings: $74.35 \^_^/ Sometimes, you have to do some digging through the racks to find a good deal. The selection here is limited and the store is old. The younger my "hip" section is usually messy and seems over stocked. The home section is very small, so I usually visit ala moana. You can for the most part find the basic items you need, but if your looking for something more specific I'd go to ala moanalua or shop on line. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced and I mean the worst. Just plain mean. I went to this department store as it's very inexpensive and I needed a dress for a dinner I'm attending tomorrow night. I found the perfect dress! I walked to the fitting room to try on some other dress options, too. The fitting room attendant had her back to me and couldn't be bothered. Didn't turn around to acknowledge me. Finally I cleared my throat. "Take anyone that's free." I obliged. When I was finished, I had two dresses that I was not going to take so I stood in the fitting room awkwardly for about 60 seconds and then another 30 once the attendants eyes and mine met. It was as though she had no idea why I was standing there bothering her. I asked awkwardly "I'm only going to take the one." In hopes she'd get the point. Finally, "do I give these to you?... or?" She looked at me and asked "what are they?" Gesturing with her hand for me to look at the tag. (Look, my field is dentistry NOT retail.) "Dresses?"(wasn't being catty, I'm a bit daft.)Then I asked out of blatant fear, "do you want me to put them back?" The woman scowled at me and took the dresses. "No. I'll do it." Well screw me sideways with a banjo... I actually decided not to buy the dress I really liked because I was so offended. I get offended on a daily basis mind you--(nobody likes going to the dentist. ) Run away from this store. I'll never go back in this shop again. I'm one of those people who remember things. Its silly, but never again. Stick to Neiman's, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. This place is not only a huge mess, but its staff tears you a new one for... well I'm not even sure what I did. My one-stop shop for buying men's clothes and Christmas gifts for my mom, sisters or significant others. Now that JcPenny's is gone there's really not many places to buy men's clothes in the Aiea area. I pretty much buy most of my Aloha shirts, dress shirts, dress shoes and slacks here. They normally have the latest styles and a good variety of brands. The prices can be a little steep so you have to watch for sales and take advantage of those red discount cards that always come in the mail if your a Macy's card holder. For smaller accessories like socks, belts and underwear I would shop elsewhere as its pretty over priced. If you need to shop for mom, sisters or the woman in your life it's also a one-stop shop for perfumes, colognes, bath soaps, lotions and jewelry. I'm usually pretty lazy during Christmas time so I just pick up those gift packages they already have wrapped. If there's one thing they need to improve on it's staffing. I notice on weekdays it's pretty hard to get help and sometimes not all the cash registers are open. In other words, If you're looking for a particular size of clothing, good luck you're on your own. Overall, it's a convienent location to shop at but if you want more styles and brands you may have to make the trip out to their Ala Moana location. read more

Was passing through the Pearl Ridge store, and asked five Sales Associates what time they opened the next day. None of them knew! One of them kept interrupting another clerk while that clerk was speaking with a customer. I finally told her don't bother her, she is helping someone else. This is Hawaii's second largest Macy's, located in Pearlridge Center. It's an average Macy's, a few floors tall, and an older design, but serves its purpose well. We like to shop at the Ala Moana location because the store is bigger, has more selection, is closer to where we stay when visiting, and is in the best mall in the state! read more

Macy's has a 1 Day sale and that's when the deals are too hard to past up. I can stay for hours to find the perfect something. Whether you shopping for clothes for the family, shoes, bags, jewelry, even household items. The staff is always very pleasant, especially the ladies in the children department. The parking is available on all 3 floors. Price is always low when they have specials. They also have a eatery located on the 3rd floor. read more

Perhaps some sales associates need to go to a customer service class. No matter how busy you are each customer needs to be addressed whether they are in the store or on the phone trying to locate an item. I understand how an associate can be busy, but if your not able to help via the phone then let the customer know instead of making them wait. Give the customer options instead of just letting them wait for a period of time. One could even ask what the items are and customer can call back when associate is free. ( Boys Dept ) read more

Not bad selection of dresses & always enjoy perusing their shoe section. They keep their shoe sale racks on display all year round. Merchandise always seems to be @ a discounted price & if it isn't when you come in, it will be the next time you visit, so I rarely buy anything full price. Macy's. I mean what can you say. Department store with a little bit of everything. Located "Uptown" at Pearlridge. Ladies, mens, children, shoes, juniors, purses, luggage, bedding, fragrances, cosmetics, skin care, lingerie, household items, etc. I like the juniors section because they have really cute items from Baby Phat and Guess... ooh and BCX too. I also loooove shoes so I like the shoe section but Ala Moana has a bigger selection. The staff is hit or miss. USUALLY they're REALLY nice and on it, but then once or twice there were those bad apples you come across that just hate their job... Use your Macy's card and get an extra 10-15% off which always helps! read more

There's always a "biggest sale of the season" sale and it's only for one day ... with a "preview day" the day before. So it's actually a 2 day sale...right?! I always stop here with my BF, just to window shop - I truly believe the (young) men's section (this is it) has the best deals! I am not a fan of department stores, and I am definitely not a fan of Macy's...in New York that is. But I do seem to like the Macy's here in Hawaii. Particularly the Macy's at Pearlridge. Not sure if it is because the Macy's in NYC is just way too huge for me...which I find annoying to find anything....but I am simply not a fan. Here at Pearlridge though, big difference for me. I can easily find my way around, and most importantly, the sales here in Macy's Hawaii seem to be better than that in NYC. Not sure if it's just because they have to sell everything that comes to Macy's Hawaii...or if they are just more willing to lower their prices, but rarely will I see a sale sign in NYC for an additional 25% off the already marked down price, or even...75% off. And I am able to find something. Wish they had something like this in NYC. I wonder if that would change my mind about Macy's in general. Right now, I know if I want to shop at Macy's...I just have to wait until I go back home to visit. read more

Macy's is a great store to find top brands and at times really cheap clothes, but you really have the time and patience to dig through all the racks to find these deals. Believe it or not in the clearance section you kind find top brands for literally $7.00 or less at times. I like the fact that they have the plenti reward you can shop and earn points to accumulate as one and they don't expire!! Down fall with the clearance items they usually marl special so you can use coupons bummer but all in all great place to buy clothes =) read more

The woman in the women's handbags department yesterday between 10:30 am to 11:30 am was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating. Very disappointed today at the sale's associate, I bought Clothes for my son and when I got home my son tried it on and he got scared bec he found the tag still on. He didnt wanna wear it bec he thought the alarm will come off. Now I have to waste my time to go back in macys just to have it removed. So very mad! My expierience with a girl named Shelley at the impulse counter in pearlridge was terrible. This girl or should I say lady had a bad attitude and was trying to rush me with my purchase. She rolled her eyes when I was asking questions than questioned me saying "am I just gonna get it or not?!" There was not a lot of customers in the store and I didn't even get acknowledged when I was in the area because she was too busy talking to another worker from the Clinique area. She was rude and I've never experienced anything like it when I've gone in the past. Terrible service no matter what floor you're at. 1st or 2nd. Can't say anything about the 3rd floor because I didn't go there. But I was shopping for a few things. There are no sales people to help customers find anything. On the 1st floor I had a lady who rang me out failed to greet and failed to ask if I had any cards or rewards and gave attitude about it because she had to ring out my items twice. But it wasn't much. Don't get me started with the 2nd floor. Still no sales people to help find anything. When we found a few things we wanted to buy. There was no register people on any of the registers. stood in front a register for 5-10mins and only then someone "helped" us. Her name was "Kathy" She asked if we had a Macy's card. we said no. We asked if we could use the "coupon" we just got. She goes "that's not a coupon..." and made small uncalled for gesture. && added "DO YOU HAVE A MACY'S CARD?....That's a rewards program you're talking about." All in a way so rude that we just wanted to take our stuff and leave. This is why we just walk pass Macy's. service is terrible. Came here to pick up some things for my little one. It was definitely a nice surprise to find so much for him on their "Last Act" racks. The store was thankfully still very neat and tidy. I found a whole bunch of shirts for my son, under $5.00 each. I went home with so many outfits for him. This review is solely for the Finishline department on the 1st floor right near the entrance. I was just there at 3pm today 7/4. There were only 2 female workers, but both were parked at the cash register (with only one register)...neither of them were wiling to leave their "post". My husband and I walked in to look at the dress shoes on the other side, and I had noticed an elderly man waiting with shoes in his hand to be helped. We were there for about 15 minutes while my husband was looking around and trying shoes on...all the while I'm observing this poor elderly man, the 2 workers, and all the other customers. That side is not normally too busy, but I guess because of the sale, it was extra crowded. My husband mentioned something to the guy on the register for the dress shoes, and he offered the elderly man some assistance, but because the man had a Finishline product, he had to be helped by one of the female workers. He took the shoe to one of them, who seemed "put off" at the fact that she actually had to help someone. It took her another 10 min to fetch the pair from the back, and then simply left the pair with him when he obviously couldve used some help trying them on. Again, it was pretty crowded in there. The line at the register was fairly long, and there were other people sitting around waiting for assistance as well. These 2 girls were merely there to stand around at the register to look pretty and get their paycheck. There was no sense of urgency at all, no sincere or genuine customer service, and no cares at all for anyone there. Shame shame shame on them, and their hiring manager. read more

Great deals and great service. Have tons of Hurley and Volcom stuff along with Nike, Adidas and other brands. Very affordable especially for shirts. Boardshorts and pants are still on the higher side but you can't go wrong with the last act section of the store. Only big suggestion I have is that the store hours are weird. Some days they close at 8pm, some are till 9pm and some are till 10pm. I don't know what the hours are if someone could clarify. read more

Probably the worst Macy's I have been in. Not a very good selection of clothing sizes. Everything was mostly smaller sizes. One of the very few associates told my 5'10" wife there were literally only two shirts that would fit her. Also the men's restroom was difficult to find. Even with directions from the associate, you had to be at the perfect angle to notice the corridor to the restrooms. read more

I am a long time customer at Estée Lauder in Pearlridge. I purchased over $200 worth of makeup and I was offered to schedule a make over with some famous makeup artist. I get a call today from the salesperson that sold me the make up, Elaine pushing me to change my appointment time. then asked if I want the artist or one of his artist to do me. Because if I want this so call famous artist to do it because it's getting overbooked there is NOW a $25 deposit, this is the first time I'm being told of this! Shame on you Estée Lauder! The Filipino lady on the second floor was putting clothes back when the line went down and she knew I was ready to pay and wouldn't come back to the register to help me on purpose. So I walk to the register across the way by the old photo studio, and there are 4 people behind the registers. 2 helping people on one side and the other 2 facing me see me but don't acknowledge me or anything. They just keep counting money and talking to each other and act like they never saw me standing there waiting to pay. I have to walk all the way toward the entrance to the mall and there finally was a cashier there to help me. Very poor customer service. Funny, because when I walk toward the parking lot exit, the Filipino lady that didn't want to help me was back behind the register helping other people. I feel like I was being discriminated. Like they only want to help who they want to help when they want to help. Jerks. Please don't think you are above people just cause you work at Macy's. Hello, I had gone into the Macy's in Pearlridge Mall in Hawaii earlier this afternoon. The younger gentleman named Roy helped me at the register. He was really rude, annoyed by my request, made snarky comments to the employees about me. Usually I always have a great time there. I have worked retail for years and know the stress it can bring on the employees, so I always go into stores with respect and knowing how uncaring customers can be for no reason. When it was my turn to the register I came up he was semi nice "what are we buying today lady?" gave him the bedding items. He started ringing up items right away, I told him I have part cash and part debit card for payment. He CHANGED his whole attitude and told me "sorry lady you need to pay one way or the other. NOT both" I told him I have done it in the past, the register takes multiple payments. He said I was wrong and asked what form of payment I want for the items. I flat out told him he was being "rude and unreasonable" to which he proceeded looked at the two young ladies and laughed with "haha she thinks I'm being rude. Did you hear that? and then they laughed too.....I asked for a manager, to which one lady told him to call customer service to walk him through the process on the register-he called and explained that "a lady wanted to somehow make a purchase with two form of payments and thinks I'm rude for telling her no." the lady sounded like she was giving him instructions on the process but he kept just pressing buttons hard on the keyboard. To which the register total came out wrong with "an amount due to customer of $50"!!! Which he proceeded to try and give me!!!!!!!!!!! I told him that is wrong and he doesn't own me money-he was confused-I showed on the receipt that he tendered "cash $60" FOUR times. He grabbed the receipt and huffing puffing got a nice lady from the back who helped him-she (Cassie I think was her name-I don't remember 1005) was walking him through the void transaction and he was short with her. My transaction total was different so I asked why and while she was explaining he walked over the next register and proceeded to look, laugh and quietly say something to her. When he realized I was looking, he stopped and walked back over and asked it "if it's done" -the transaction. Seriously? I stayed quiet. Then while the lady worked and we had a nice little conversation about the holidays and the crazy holiday mall hours. Between his snarky comments to me and the other employees-was rude and disrespectful. Then looks of "annoyance" and his "sorry I got this client" head nods to the employees and the people behind me. To top it off the he never apologized for not knowing that you can do multiple payments and that he was in the wrong. (the lady tried to show him how to process that transaction but he did not want to learn) read more

So sad, a friend of mine at work is experiencing the same thing I complained about in my review. He doesn't know who to talk to to resolve this issue. I tell you people, watch the charge card balances.....my friend is just like me he pays he's bill in full each month. It's August 2016 and Macy's is sending him a bill for something purchased in June 2016. Again, why doesn't old stuff like that show up in other bills? Like July's bill?
