Walked in expecting a regular shabby pub experience. We sat at our table and INSTANTLY were serviced my our attentive server, Nick. He came with that Big nICK Energy that we love. Quick, but not a minute man, service. Our food was hott & our drinks were cold. We were begging for dessert and asked him to surprise us. He picked the best meal ender, the S'mores Lava cake. Ok hunting a new local since 1850 closed. Big Steeler fans looking for a football home. The overall look of the place was ok it had an open floor plan. Tvs were everywhere the waitress said it was a great place to watch steeler football. The place was early quiet. Food we ordered steaks which were OK I will try them again to insure a good review. I walked in with a friend to sit at the bar and have a drink. The first bartender was very friendly, but we weren't ready to order yet. When we were ready to order he was talking to someone at the opposite end of the bar so I asked the other bartender nearby if she could grab us two beers. She was the rudest bartender I've ever had. She gave us an attitude because when she walked by earlier and asked if we were being helping we said yes (We assumed the other guy would come back to check on us). She made multiple comments about it and told us to wait for our bartender to finish making drinks. Then when it was obvious the other bartender was really busy she checked our IDs (even though we showed them to the other guy when we say down) she asked for a second form of ID. At this point she had such an attitude I was furious and left without ordering. I didn't realize that it was the law to check a second form of ID but had she been polite it wouldn't have been a problem. I won't go back there again which is a shame because it's a very convenient location for me. I work in customer service and I can understand when someone is busy or stressed. Everything was extra Im ok with paying extra for what I want but being charged for it and not getting it makes me mad, when I finally got a server to let them know the food was cold ... not a smile or an I'm sorry I'll remove it from your bill just a nasty response. I spent 8 hours here on St. Patrick's Day last month with my oldest and bestest friends Scott, Eileen, and Yvonne, and some new friends from down where they live now (Toms River). I had fish and chips and maybe 12 pints of guinness. The archbishop of Ocean County had declared a special dispensation to eat corned beef (it was friday and lent), so that's what mostly everyone at our table had. The fish & chips were great, and the corned beef looked good too. The place was packed wall-to-wall the entire time we were there, but the service was great even though the wait staff could barely move around the place. We were at a comfortable table the whole time, and it was day 2 of the NCAA tournament and we had a good view of most of the games, and especially the Dayton-Wichita State game, which I ended up regretting having to watch. The Flyers really stunk that up and put a damper on an otherwise perfect afternoon and evening. We went home by Uber and then Scott and I came back the next morning to get the cars. read more

We have been to Mcintyres three times in about two weeks! The burgers are every bit as good as Harpoon Willies, the pizzas have a nice thin crust and the Reuben egg rolls are to die for! ....oh and the drinks are generous and reasonably priced! I hope this place does well....they offer the friendly atmosphere of a neighborhood bar and everything that goes with it! read more

Pub-Grub was good. Service was EXCELLENT!!! Bartender made me feel like a local!! Beer selection is really solid with mainstream and local selections. Ambience is good. I am an out-of-towner and was looking to watch a game and grab a bite to eat. Read some Yelp reviews and this seemed like a great place. I had the Cape May IPA which was such a good beer and the Prime Rib melt w/ fries. Fries were seasoned great and delish. Sandwich was solid but it could have been better. Would definitely go back to drink and eat again. read more

I had the worst experience. I asked if the bar buys back drinks. She said I don't know you. So I spend $150.00 and received not one drink. I would rather go to pub 1850. Its all about customer service and this place has none. And p.s. happy hour blows!!!! read more

Went for my first time Friday night and left a very happy lady! The food was delicious. Our waitress was the best i have ever had. She knew all about the beers on tap and suggested a localy brewed beer that ended up being fantastic. She really made us want to go back. The experience was a very good one! read more

I live in silverton and have been looking for a bar worth going to that's in the area. We used to go to pub 1850 which was great until it went out of business. Since then my friends and I have gone to macs to grab a beer and watch a game. I'm honestly pretty easy to please for the most part and I can say I really hate this place there food is awful and the atmosphere is even worse. There bouncer gives you an attitude like you're in a NYC club, and the owner is nasty and not friendly at all. Last year we decided to watch the Capitols penguins playoff hockey game and one of my friends was not 21 the owner told him he had to leave at 10. Once it turned 10 my friend didn't leave and the owner ended up kicking him out. A year later my friend is now 21 and came to get a drink for the liverpool soccer game and the owner refused him service because he thinks my friend was trying to ruin his business.. This is just one of many bad experiences I've had here. Now I go to sweeneys in brick or miracle bar to grab a drink and watch a game where the atmosphere and food is better and the owner and staff are more friendly. I can't say it enough, this place is AWFUL. read more

We finally got to the new location of McIntyers Pub tonight. It's a pub. It's a sports bar. Decorated simply and has lots of TV's. They had the olympics on most of them and everyone seemed content. Big welcoming bar from end to end. We sat at a table and had the best service ever. Tina was our waitress and couldn't have been better. We started with the Irish nachos which were delicious. The menu had so many great pub items to choose from none of us had an easy time making a choice. We all ended up having sandwiches of different kinds. It was pub food and just perfect! If you're looking for fancy gourmet food this is not the place for you. It's simple reasonably priced pub food. We will definitely become regulars here. We were missing Pub 1850 but now that we found McIntyres we're questioning what the heck took us so long to try it! We had a party of 4 and all of us left happy and content talking about when we'd return. McIntyres is a simple happy place. read more

We have been to McIntyres many times in the past and enjoyed the food, beers and staff. However, last night me and my fiance went there after he just returned from a long trip overseas to celebrate his return. At some point we were scolded by the manager as he stated "this is a family place and people were trying to eat". We didnt really know what he meant and at first thought he was joking. Then caught the nasty looks he was giving us and realized it must be because my fiance had his hand on my hip on the inside of my waistband. Nothing vulger, we werent making out or making anyone uncomfortable. My fiance calls him over to ask him to clarify ... when the manager starts to yell that he has his hands in my pants and how he isnt even going to argue the point, its not appropriate and maybe we should go home to behave like that. We were shocked. Unfortunately we did really like it there but based on this experience will never ever return. And there was a point we went weekly! Oh well, their loss of customers who were just enjoying some beers and each others company. read more
